  1. I'm not going to say it's the best before they play. I liked the draft as a whole and didn't care we didn't double dip at WR. We drafted a top 3 rotational DT, perhaps a starting C, goal line RB, possible starting S and people are upset we didn't draft a WR4. This team is going to run the ball a LOT more this year and I'm happy with that. Our defense was in much worse shape than people on this board were talking about and we needed to upgrade at the positions we had strong needs at.
  2. It's pretty much all due to arm-length. Short arms are actually not bad for a center but you need longer arms at Guard and even longer at T. Kromer thinks he can cross-train at G and he knows more than I ever will so I'm pretty happy with this pick. If he can start and do well at C we immediately upgrade LG as well.
  3. Football is great. I still get sadder than I should when we lose and my immediate reactions to things that are ultimately unimportant in my life, like which 20 year old was picked to join the team that entertains me for a few hours on Sundays is something that can be frustrating. I'd like it if our team was better. I don't enjoy losing in the playoffs year after year, but the same goes for millions of people around the country every year so that's not unique. The team employs scouts, assistant GMs, security staff who research backgrounds, psychologists who are supposed to be able to tell if prospects have the mental makeup to be successful, coaches and a GM who spend exponentially more time thinking about the draft than anyone here no matter how much of a hobby it may be for some. I like to sign on here and talk about the Bills because it's fun. I would encourage those of us who somehow manage to spin out and have a breakdown here because the guy you got used to picking in mock draft simulators after watching a few highlight plays and a couple youtube videos from youtube creators to get a little perspective and remember that this is a crap shoot and for the most part most of the people picked in this draft will have unremarkable and relatively short careers. Whether a player is good or not in the league depends on myriad reasons: the coaching they receive, the system in place where they are drafted, the players around them and also their mental makeup and skill. A player may be successful on one team only to be quite poor in another system. It's not worth losing your mind on a message board and ripping other posters, hijacking threads making the draft less enjoyable for others and then going on tirades insulting the coach and GM for making the wrong informed-decision that clashes with your uninformed wishes. I appreciate this community, thanks for making this board a fun place to be, let's all try to be a little nicer to each other. End of rant.
  4. Audric Estime no matter what
  5. Yes, he's clearly unintelligent for not listening to the desires of a poster on a message board. You got it.
  6. I absolutely LOVE this pick
  7. WRs available for all you WR nuts Troy Franklin Oregon Roman Wilson Michigan Devontez Walker North Carolina Johnny Wilson Florida State Malik WashingtonWVirginia Javon Baker UCF Who I would take if he's there at 95 Austin Booker Dominic Puni Christian Mahogany Troy Franklin Brandon Dorlus
  8. This is a very good pick
  9. I like Dadrion Taylor-Demerson Malik Mustapha Cole Bishop
  10. Michael Hall Javon Bullard Dadrion Taylor-Demerson Troy Franklin Malachi Corley Roman Wilson Cooper Beebe Kneeland Trey Benson For immediate need i think Beebe and Kneeland are good fits. Michael Hall is a monster
  11. We could trade with Was at 53 with 2 5ths if we want to move up. Tons of good WRs out there, I could see us go D
  12. Guys I like that I hope one of them is around when we pick Michael Hall Javon Bullard Dadrion Taylor-Demerson AD Mitchell Troy Franklin Malachi Corley Roman Wilson Cooper Beebe Kam Kitchens Trey Benson
  13. in about 5 picks we are in range where we could trade up if we wanted to with a couple 4ths
  14. Here's the thing now that I've had a second to rage. With the exception of Legette, who isn't there yet, but I thought he could get there, we're picking from players who are very good at a few things but not complete players. This is our young, large possesion receiver who is a red zone threat. He has very good hands and obviously is good at contested catches. I would expect we pick D at 60 and take a speed guy in the 3rd or 4th. Does that make this an amazing WR room? No. But it at least gives us some pieces we didn't have before.
  15. McConkey or AD would have made me feel like we at least got someone who MIGHT be better than Legette. I do not feel this now. I feel significant disappointment.
  16. Charles Davis keeps saying we need a corner. Has he ever looked at our roster?
  17. Trying to talk the Bills pick and Eisen immediately goes "and what about the Patriots drafting next!" and just kills the discussion smh
  18. Just integrate padding into the helmets
  19. I don't have that confidence. We gave Diggs a big extension and then cut him loose even though we had him in the building and knew his history and still didn't realize he was nuts.
  20. Mitchell has all the tools to be a #1 and enough questions about his work ethic/maturity that he scared WR needy teams out of drafting him in the 1st round. I'd be happy if he's the pick, but I would feel zero peace that he's going to become a consistent player.
  21. Only way I'd trade 33 is if we fleece someone to move WAY up from 60 as well. Too many solid projected starters at positions of need to drop more than 3-4 down.
  22. Go on spotrac right now and show me how. You can't.
  23. That is NOWHERE near fair value for them. Have you ever looked at a trade value chart? We would be giving 268 and receiving 315 which is equivalent to them just flushing a mid 3rd rd pick down the toilet I'm scared of AD Mitchell, he has huge upside but he takes plays off and could wind up being a huge flop and a headache. I'd rather take McConkey, who has a lower ceiling and a higher floor.
