Gabe’s ankle is poop right now, bring up a guy to spell Gabe while he heals his chronic ankle problem. We’re not talking permanently replacing Gabe, it’s temporary, Is this so hard to grasp?

Please don't grasp Gabe's ankle, it might become poopier.

This is why the Bills built depth on the team. They are better off from within than some outsider. I trust this coaching staff with the secondary more than anything else.

I just want to note the irony that the only person who disagreed with your point is a poster named "nextmanup"

They will definitely want to bring in a DB for depth.  As everyone else said, we have safetys and cbs that can play safety ready to play in this system.  Expect some 2-4 year talent that never impressed his former team, but was well rated in draft to join our practice squad or active roster as a backup sometime in the next few weeks.  If they can't find the right guy, then they probably feel comfortable with who they have, baring another injury.

Depends what happened with him after cuts. Arizona took him for the PS which means the Bills could have done the same. Not like he was claimed off waivers. So did we not offer him a PS spot to come back? Or did he choose to go elsewhere because he thought there was a more obvious route to the active roster at some point (given our top 4 were pretty set)?

If the former I doubt we go that direction, if the latter it is the obvious 1st move. He didn't have as good of a camp and pre-season as last year it must be said.

True, but if Poyer can't go sunday we only have Cam Lewis as a backup safety right? We need someone. Landon Collins is a FA, but he'd be new to the system.

  4. "Tre'Davious has been working his tail off and doing everything possible to get himself ready to play. He and our medical staff are in constant communication and we will make the move to remove him from PUP when appropriate. Christian and Kair have been putting in the work to be that next man up for us and we are very pleased with their mentality." - There, that's about all you'd get on a question asked to any member of the coaching staff or FO.
