I don't know, I feel like they're being way too cautious with him. Eventually they have to start acclimating him in. Players come back from ACL injuries just fine these days, they're treating him like he broke every bone in his body.

IMO I'm happy he isn't coming back on a surface that is pretty notorious for messing with players.

Really think someone with enough money to consider buying  WFT would want to be minority partner with Snyder?  Not likely imo.

And other owners get to vote on any new ownership.

I dunno, it's not my opinion I quoted a reported fact. Combine that with the fact that the guy is a scumbag and who knows what he's doing.

This move actually makes me fairly concerned about Poyer's injury. Hamlin and Johnson is a huge step down from where we started the year. I hope Poyer isn't gone for the year.

This is likely a replacement for Cam Lewis. Bills had only been carrying 3 real safeties since Hyde went on IR. At the very least if Poyer misses any time we gave Hamlin, Johnson and Marlowe and we don't have to rely on Cam Lewis at S.

  4. The lack of actual football knowledge by some in this thread is sad. If you are complaining about this trade, you're bad at math too. We traded away a game day inactive for a backup with speed who can contribute on special teams. He is not the same type of player as Cook and gives this backfield a set of reliable hands and gamebreaking speed.

  5. I don't see a trade being made. Safety help coming in this year would have to learn the playbook and we have seen the FO be unwilling to trust rookies with a full offseason to play over vets. Our Defense is supposed to be fairly complex. RBs might be able to help, but I think the market is too high for what we were willing to spend. We activate White and maybe sign OBJ in a couple weeks and I don't really see another move beyond that for this season.

It's also unrealistic to expect a 6th round draft pick to come to camp and beat out your 1st round pick and then hold his own as a starter. I never suggested that Benford should be a starting Safety, but we are getting pretty thin there and I don't feel better with Cam Lewis as the next man up!

I gave a pretty reasonable response to your question. Your response shows you didn't deserve it.
