  1. He was fading hard last season. Marcus Murphy when given the opportunity (which has been few and far in between) has consistently outproduced McCoy. The kid runs hard and explodes through the hole, which is exactly where McCoy has been deficient. It's not that McCoy looks slow, he's just not accelerating through the hole, he almost slows down or sometimes comes to a dead stop upon taking the hand off, which baffles me. He has way too many negative rushes and I'm of the opinion that Muphy, Ivory and McCoy should be splitting carries (5-10 touches a piece).
  2. No chance hes on the roster next year. Hes the definition of replacement level and he gets paid like hes a top 5 TE in the league. Add on his injuries and his age and hes a sure fire offseason cut.
  3. Wish they had followed advice to save us from a bad hire. If you believe in a high powered offense coupled with smart and aggressive situational coaching than McDermott has been a total whiff.
  4. The OP is spot on. They are 100% responsible as they are the ones that set the vision for where this org. is going and who is at the helm to lead it. The hiring of McDermott a coach who has the totally wrong vision for what it takes to succeed in 2018 was a horrendous mistake. Unfortunately for us the fans, the Pegulas will compound their mistake with McDermott by not admitting their mistake and allowing him to continue as HC heading into the 2019 season.
  5. Fire Sean McDermott. The man has shown he has no semblance of identifying or developing offensive talent. His firing would be step 1 in any serious effort to get this team back on the rails.
  6. No, but they are utterly clueless in the hiring process. Rex Ryan - FAIL Sean McDermott - FAIL They need to hire smarter people, that understand what wins in the modern NFL. It's called a passing game, an offense, something Buffalo hasn't had in 20 years.
  7. How about Brandon Beane over Brett Veach. Now the GM of the Chiefs and the guy who fell in love with Mahomes and convinced Andy Reid he was their guy. Veach was also the guy Shady McCoy was pushing the Bill's to interview with when we had our GM vacancy. Oh well.....should a, would a, could a.....the Pegulas whiffed again. They've had a brutal go of it this far, little reason for optimism we these guys heading the ship.
  8. I see more Blaine Gabbert, who like Allen, drops his eyes and stares at the pass rush when under pressure. A fatal QB'ing flaw IMO.
  9. When I watch Josh Allen I see Blaine Gabbert, which is the player he reminded me of coming into the draft. He has the same 2 fatal flaws: Wildly Inaccurate, which IMO, is not fixable & Drops his eyes and stares at the rush when he feels pressure. Gun to my head, my take right now.....hes going to be a massive flop, as many smart people predicted he'd be.
  10. Lol. Josh Allen stinks. He has the 2 traits that make a QB useless in the NFL......Inaccurate and drops his eyes and stares at the rush. Blaine Gabbert was the same way
  11. Talking about the early 90's Bills teams today is the equivalent of reminiscing about the 1965 Bills during the early 90s. It's a lifetime ago
  12. On a similar line of thinking my theory is the Eagles are trying to soften the Steelers ask on Bell. If the Steelers are adamant on a 2nd rounder and the Eagles don't want to pay that price, it'd be smart to leak that you're interested in Shady and perhaps get the Steelers to come down a bit in their asking price. It's all about leverage. In the end I see Bell being traded to the Eagles for 2 mid round picks and the Steelers kicking back a 7th in addition to Bell.
  13. Yes. Let's say the Eagles lower draft pick in round 2 is #58. That's worth 320 on the draft value trade chart. Let's say the Bills select #72 in round 3. That's worth 230 points. The difference of 90 points is the equivalent to a high 4th round pick.....which in my opinion is about as good as you could hope for in trading an expensive, older RB who has next to no chance of being on your roster next year.....and isn't performing at a high level what soever this year.
  14. https://www.phillyvoice.com/philadelphia-eagles-2019-draft-picks/ Round How acquired 1 Eagles' own pick 2 Eagles' own pick 2 Acquired from Ravens during 2018 NFL Draft 3 Eagles' own pick 4 Eagles' own pick 5 (projected) Compensatory pick 5 Eagles' own pick 6 Eagles' own pick 6 (projected) Compensatory pick 6 (projected) Compensatory pick 7 Either the Eagles' own pick, or the pick acquired from Broncos for Allen Barbre, depending on which one they traded during the 2018 NFL Draft (for Mailata), which has yet to be determined. 7 (projected) Compensatory pick What I'm asking for if I'm the Bills (and I'm asking for more than what I think I'll get because you always anchor high in negotiations): Bills get: The better 2nd round pick and the better 6th round pick Eagles get: Bills 3rd round pick What I'd settle for: Bills get Eagles worse 2nd rounder and the Eagles get the Bills 3rd round pick.
  15. I'd trade Shady for a 4th in a heart beat, I'd probably even settle for a 5th. It's found money. Make no mistake about it....Shady will not be on the roster next season. It's the first year where cutting him actually saves us a decent chunk of change against the cap.....and he's not even close to being worth what he's owed next year. Plus trading him frees up additional cap space next year, that would otherwise be dead cap if cut before next season, as I believe he would be. If you're somebody who is excited about the $$$ the Bills will have to spend in FA, than you should be excited at the possibility of trading McCoy off of this roster. Get additional draft capital, save cap money (both this yr and next, and this years can be rolled over into next years) for a player that won't be on the roster next year. It's a total no brainer.
  16. Bye bye Nate? Or is this possibly a move to get Allen back to the bench if they feel hes in over his head? This team is more of a mess than I thought if it's the latter.
  17. If we have success running the ball and stuffing their run game I think it can be a close game. With that said I think if McCoy plays like he did the first 2 weeks the Bill's will have no chance. His negative rushes are a killer......he needs to pick it up or be replaced.
  18. I'd rather have Mahomes and the two second rounders we used to trade up to get Allen
  19. No. I also can't remember a team as bad as this one. I don't think the majority of fans have come to the full realization of how bad our QB play is. Josh Allen was a mess of a prospect and hes been a total mess this far, shocking right. I've never had lower Hope's for this franchise, both short and long term. Wrong QB, wrong head coach, IMO, the 2 most important factors for success in the NFL.
  20. Is silver worth more than plastic? Yes. Marrone is okay.. McDermott is quite bad
  21. $4.3 M flushed down the toilet? This FA class (McCarron, Star. Murphy, Davis) has the look and feel of a very bad one heading into week 1, IMO.
