  1. I totally agree with the posters sentiments.....and it is imperative that the Bills coaching staff opens up and calls the game with no fear. They have to be aggressive.
  2. There is a very simple solution to the dilemma of decreasing attendance at NFL games: 1 - Decrease the price of food/drinks/beers, like the Atlanta Falcons did a couple of years back. 2 - Decrease the price of season tickets by 10-25% 3 - Season ticket holders get a 35% discount on all apparel and merchandise of "their team" The $$$ that NFL franchises make off of actual ticket sales, concessions & merchandise is very small in comparison to the $$$ they make off of the network contracts. Why not give back to the fans a bit in the form of the 3 points I made above? The owners answer is probably because they don't want to leave one dollar on the table, but I think they would make up for that lost revenue, because fans would feel more appreciated ans thus invest more in the team.
  3. The lesser known of the 3 WR's that play for Alabama really caught my eye this season: Devonta Smith Fast, runs good routes, agile, and has great hands. They say he has the best hands of all the WR's @ Bama. Jeudy will be drafted long before we pick, but Smith will be a late 1st-2nd round guy, IMO.
  4. 26-18 Bills Then we root for the Titans in the night game to keep the very remote scenario of an AFC Championship game in Buffalo alive! 6 seed Titans @ Buffalo. Stranger things have happened
  5. I follow David Chao, @ProFootballDoc, a former team doctor for the Chargers and now does extensive breakdowns of NFL injuries on his twitter account. For those of you not familiar with his twitter contributions, he does a great job at predicting injuries and how much time players will miss. As of today he currently has: Will Fuller "He is iffy at best to play vs. Buffalo (hamstring and groin)." Jonathan Joseph "it will be extremely difficult for him to play vs. Buffalo (hamstring)."
  6. Imo, it was a disaster. This league is about your QB........and when you pass on a QB that looks like one of the best ever (when you needed a QB badly) that's a disaster.
  7. It will 100% be either the first game on Saturday or the first game on Sunday. There's no chance the Bills get one of the later spots. I would think Saturday has a more likely chance for the Bills, but they did put the Bills Jags game as the 1 PM Sunday game just 2 years ago, so I wouldn't rule it out. I actually think that if the Steelers or Raiders make it as the 6 seed, the NFL would see blowout potential (vs the Chiefs) and make that the first Saturday game. The Bills have played a lot of tight games vs Quality teams and I believe the NFL views the 1PM Sunday slot as more valuable than the 430PM Saturday......and would have more of a desire to have a more competitive game be played on Sunday given the choice.
  8. Tremaine Edmund's striggles to get off blocks and he's bad on misdirection. Bill B., to no surprise, seems to understand this much better than other coaches
  9. I also noticed on one of Tom Bradys QB sneaks vs us......the center as he approached the line took the ball and moved it up a good 2 feet prior to the snap. He snapped the ball a full foot or 2 forward from where it was spotted. You better believe all these things are being taught too....1 of these advantages alone doesn't give you a huge edge, but when you add up all the capers they pull off on game day you get a big edge
  10. And right on cue....today, Odell is throwing his helmet and having a visibly frustrated shouting match with his coach on the sidelines. Then after the game he's giving the same dumb excuses to reporters, "I got a flag for a celebration I've done all year.....wahhhh, wahhhh, wahhh". Dude no you cost your team 15 yards by being an arrogant self absorbed diva who puts himself before team every single chance you get. I can't stand even listening to him anymore, it's embarrassing. And to give credit where credits due.....it's nice to have a team that doesn't have these poisonous attitudes in the locker room. Job well done by Beane and McDermott in shipping out the malcontents.
  11. Absolutely, it's not likely......but of all the possible 6 seeds (Titans, Steelers, Raiders) the Titans are the only team I could possibly see competing with the Chiefs/Patriots. With that said I think think the Chiefs are going to destroy whoever they play if they end up as the 3 seed......if the Pats are the 3 seed (very unlikely) I'd give the Titans a chance at pulling off the upset. What is very likely is if the Bills pull the upset wildcard weekend we are very likely facing the Ravens.......and to be honest I think I might rather face the Ravens rather than the Patriots or the Chiefs.
  12. Couldn't agree more & I've been saying it all year. A young hammer with long speed. Our run game looks a lot better with that type of dude who can handle 8-10 touches a game. And for the record, I'm all for drafting that guy in the middle rounds of this years draft like we did Singletary last year. Just say no to buying a high priced FA RB like Henry or Gordon......a waste of $$$, IMO.
  13. Ramsey, like Odell Beckham and Leveon Bell goes about his career as if he's an independent contractor rather than part of a team. Some teams seem more tolerant in dealing with these type of players because their talent is obvious. If I were running a team, I'd want no part of players with these type of attitudes regardless of their talent. When it's always about you & you're always creating noise it's like poison in the locker room.
  14. The smart answer is YES....... 1. The Patriots offense was getting the better of the Bills defense 2. The Bills offense was struggling for long stretches between the big plays 3. No need to risk injury and continue playing in OT Don't forget the Pats would've still had plenty of time to get into FG range and retake the lead......but you at least ensure no OT by going for 2.
  15. The key to winning vs the Pats boils down to 1 thing: Allen Can he find solutions to the 0 blitz?
  16. There's no way he could be worse. Gore was okay to slightly below average for about the first 4-5 weeks of the season. Since then he's looked like a 50 year old toting the rock. At this point it almost feels like any carry given to Gore is a forfeited down by the Bills.
  17. Thunderstruck.....the first minute
  18. I saw this one coming a year ago. The Panthers, under Tepper sre going to go all in to position themselves to select Trevor Lawrence in the 2021 draft. In order to do that, they need to bottom out during the 2020 season. Lawrence, the Clemson product would be a huge hit in the Carolina market......and the Panthers will clearly be in the QB market once they trade Newton.
  19. I heard Michael Lombardi give a unique perspective on defending the Ravens on his podcast, GM Shuffle, a good listen, BTW. He said you have to defend the Ravens offense like you defend a punt return, Lamar Jackson being the punt returner. Every one stay in their lanes, don't get outflanked, break down in space and tackle, other defenders rally to the ball.
  20. No. Hurt far too often. Production is not good. Does not fit into the selfless, football first, culture the Bills look for.
  21. Right now the top of the CB market is $15.05M per year.......so that's where negotiations will begin. If you get him under contract soon you're looking at 15.5ish M per......if you wait another year, it'll probably be in the $16-17 M per range as more contracts get done.
  22. Devin Singletary missed over a month with the same exact hamstring injury.....I wouldn't expect to see him back on the field anytime soon. Hamstring injuries have a high rate of injury recurrence, and the Bills medial staff has been very patient bring players back from them. I'd say Week 16 would be the very earliest you'll see Foster active, but more likely Week 17 or the playoffs
  23. Nice podcast.....I listened to the whole interview and found it to be very interesting. I remember hearing about the McDermott dust up with Schopp last season, but I never heard the story with Fairburn from this season. For someone (McDermott) who tries to portray himself as such a good/decent person, I've noticed there's a lot of behind the scenes stories about him that paint a different picture. It's strange. Winning will be the ultimate measuring stick for him, but if things ever go south for him I'd expect we'll hear a lot more of these strange incidences people have had with him.
  24. Or the Bills are just waiting to announce hes done for the season once they figure out what they want to do with his roster spot.
  25. Ford cant handle the outside speed rush.....He's too slow to play T at a high level. Having to play against Von Miller this week presents a huge mismatch in favor of Denver. Big downgrade going from Nsekhe to Ford.
