Super Bowl Tickets Selling for Record Amount
Estro replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've had to use Ebay and then stubhub many times over the last 18 years to sell tickets. Tickets almost always drop in value as the game gets near. I just checked the prices are dropping in the last couple of hours.....stubhub is now offering a $500 off over ticket coupon code now, which means they know they have too much of a supply right now. I'm not sure I'll ever buy a Super Bowl ticket, but if I do, I'll be waiting until the last possible moment -
Super Bowl Tickets Selling for Record Amount

Time to buy is almost always right before the game on stubhub. -
It might be harsh, but I do agree with the OP. I prefer to listen to Schopp & Bulldog, but if I'm ever listening to One Bills Live and she's on.... Its a an immediate, "Alexa......off" for me

PFF's Big Board (I know I know, but hear me out)

I compared Shenault to Patterson in last weeks Mel Kiper mock draft thread, I guess I'm no the only one who doesn't really see a refined WR in Shenault. -
PFF's Big Board (I know I know, but hear me out)
Estro replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Incredibly fast so I think he'll have his fair share of splash plays, but his hands aren't great and his route running isn't great. It'd be tough for me to draft a WR in the 1st round that doesn't have great hands. He also gets knicked up a lot, he's built wiry almost like Marquise Goodwin, and those type of bodies tend to get banged up in the NFL -
I think I may be in the minority here, but I see absolutely no reason to give Tre White an extension this offseason. The Bills have him under contract for: 2020: $1.8M 2021: about $10M (once 5th yr option exercised) 2022: about $17M (estimated CB franchise tag) That's a hell of a value and the Bills have the leverage. The time for an extension to be done with White would be after the '21 season or at the very earliest during the '21 season if you wanted to roll some of the signing bonus $ into that season for cap purposes. Matt Milano, on the other hand, will likely be extended this offseason or during the season. And expect Milano to get Kwon Alexander/Shaq Thompson type money which is going to be a lot more than most Bills fans probably anticipate.....about $12.5M - $14M per yr.

Mel Kiper has the bills taking Shenault Jr
Estro replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't particularly like Shenault as a WR prospect. He seems more athlete than refined WR to me kind of like Cordarelle Patterson was coming out of Tennessee. To me there is a lot of risk that he never becomes a dominant WR and is just more of as gadget player. -
Prospect Watch: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU
Estro replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I happen to agree with your take. Just as a fundamental philosophy I think taking RB's in the top 60 picks of the draft should be mostly avoided. That said I do think this guy would be a great get for our offense that really needs another quality RB. If he were to still be available late round 2, early round 3 I wouldn't hate using some of that extra draft capital to move up 10-20 spots and nab him. I'd only like this idea if we moved down with or original 1st or 2nd round pick. Ideally I'd like to see the Bills work the draft this year where they end up with like 4 players selected between picks 35-80. Move down in round 1 or 2, then use that added draft capital to move up with 3rd and 4th rounders to get 4 players selected by the middle of round 3. The best deals of the draft come in the 2nd and 3rd rounds when you look at what those players get paid. When you hit on a guy in the middle rounds you actually have a player playing for like 1/6 - 1/8 of their market value. -
This guy really caught my eye about a week ago when I was going through the highlight tape of a dozen or so of the RB prospects in this years draft. I saw him mocked mostly in the 3rd and 4th rounds of many of these early mock drafts (which usually are totally off), but then Daniel Jeremiah release his top 50 prospects and I saw he had Edwards-Helaire ranked in his top 50 prospects. I'm not sure the Bills will pull the trigger on a RB w/ their 2nd round pick & they'd probably have to do that to land this guy, but I'd love hi on the Bills. He's a great fit for the modern NFL, in that he's excellent in the passing game. He's also shifty and super physical in the run game. By my eye he doesn't have great speed, which is probably why he's not viewed as a 1st round pick, but his speed looks good. I'd guess he'll run somewhere in the 4.55 range. I really like Singletary, and I know the popular belief is that we need a big, strong, bruiser type back to complement Singletary's game, but I think I'd rather complement Singletary with a lpayer that actually plays a lot like him and is built similarly. A backfield of Singletary coupled with Edwards-Helaire would be a handful for opposing D's and would give us 2 very good RB's in the passing game, which I'm hoping this team takes advantage of more in the 2020 season. Check out his highlight video from the Alabama game this yr (it's impressive): & keep in mind Edwards-Helaire's stat line vs. Alabama was: 20 carries - 103 yards, 3 TD's 9 receptions - 77 yards, 1 TD

Target WR Breshad Perriman FA Tampa Bay
Estro replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No thanks. This is a guy you could've had on your roster for free 8 months ago. Then he plays on a team that throws for 400 yards a game and he has a breakout late in the season after a few injuries to the WR position. Hes the definition of buying the stock at its peek. -
New Internet Rumor about Bills - getting 3 Primetime games
Estro replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The schedule makers are in the very beginning stages of creating the '20-'21 schedule so I think this "rumor" is more just an educated guess. The Bills will likely have 2 perhaps 3 primetime games based on their record last year & the opponents they face next year, but there is no way that the schedule is anywhere near close to being completed so I'd say this "Rumor" is total BS -
He just got a raise to $2M a year to stay at LSU.....Tepper probably came with $3M offer. Can't say no to a $1M raise

Like Brandon Aiyuk. I've seen him pretty consistently mocked in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Surprised he's not on this list.

This Ja'Marr Chase appears to be a WR that's going to go very high in the '21 NFL Draft.

Did anyone hear mike ginnitti from spotrac on wgr
Estro replied to zevo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ruggs doesn't strike me as the type of prospect the Bills would take. He's been hurt quite a few times......he seems like the type of guy that gets kicked up a lot. The Bills put a lot of emphasis on availability. I actually prefer his teammate, Devonat Smith. He doesn't have the same burner speed as Ruggs, but he's still fast, and he has much better hands and is a better route runner -
Take your bets now what top 15 pick will fall?
Estro replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've seenHenry Ruggs, WR, Alabama mocked in the teens and 20s of the first round......I think he'll drop. He has suspect hands and has missed time with injuries. AJ Epenesa, is a guy I've seen mocked in the middle of the 1st round, he doesn't seem like the type of athlete that's going to test particularly well for a DE, so maybe that gets him to drop a bit. One guy I think that's going to go higher than most expect is Jake Fromm. He had a poor season at Georgia this year. He doesn't do any one thing great, but I think his leadership and personality is going to tempt teams in the middle of the 1st round. I've always had a guy feeling he's going to be a Patriot. -
Carolina Panthers hire Matt Rhule as HC - 7 year contract

Wow...that's corny as hell....I had no idea that's how he sounded. -
Case Keenum would be a significant upgrade IMO.

Is Tre White worth top corner money?
Estro replied to DuckyBoys's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, with the way McDermott has shown he can develop corners and get them to play well: Tre White Levi Wallace Taron Johnson Kevin Johnson Siran Neal E.J. Gaines I don't know that you pay a CB $15-$16M a year, which is probably what Tre White will be looking for. -
Cleveland interviewing Jim Schwartz for HC
Estro replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I found it interesting that the Schwartz request came right after their meeting with Daboll. Could it be that Daboll said he'd want Schwartz to be DC if he got the job in Cleveland. I remember Michael Lombardi hinting Schwartz would welcome a change of scenery -
In order of priority: 1. A big bruiser 2nd RB (I never want to see Frank Gore in a Bills uniform again). It's going to take me a while getting over the fact this coaching staff was dumb enough to give a guy that can't run 9 touches in a playoff game. Perhaps one of the most baffling decisions by the Bills coaching staff this season. Totally inexcusable. 2. A backup QB. If Allen ever goes down for a week or a month, find me a guy who can come in, manage the game and maybe go 2-2 over 4 games. I think Matt Barkley is not that guy. How about Case Keenum? I like him as a $4M insurance policy, 3. A pass rusher. I think our defense was schemed very well this season to create pressure, but from a talent standpoint this team could use a guy who can get home and bother the QB. Lawson might not be back, Murphy is aging, Hughes is aging.....we need an influx of youth at the pass rushing position 4. A Wide receiver. I don't care if it's a slot guy or an outside guy, just find me a guy that has really good hands and good YAC ability. There were too many drops this season, and with Allen's poor accuracy you need to find a guy with great hands who can pluck fastballs away from his frame. 5. Attempt to upgrade the kicking game. The punter was not good. Hauschka doesn't appear to have the leg strength he once had......not terrible, but not great 6. Can never have enough CB's. McDermott seems to get the most out of CB's. Tre White has become an All-Pro under his tutelage. Levi Wallace has developed nicely. Siran Neal and Taron Johnson have both proved they can play ion this league. Kevin Johnson showed something but is a FA. Draft a guy they like in the middle rounds and have another guy in the pipeline to develop. What say you?

Devin Singletary/ Best Bills player on the field today
Estro replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Luckily for us, the Bills coaches gave Gore 8 carries and Singletary 13, and not 1 in our 2 possessions in OT. How perplexing was that? -
