  1. Good player, but only the dumb teams will sign a RB to a 4 year - $46M deal and I think that's probably what he'll command as a FA. The Bills are already entering the phase where they're going to hsve to make tough roster decisions due to the cap, and using $10+ M of cap space on RB is not and should not be in the cards for the Bills.
  2. I actually had the same thought a week or so ago. I think its a.legit concern, and if the Bills were to lose Daboll this offseason I think the Bills would be smart to delay any extension for Allen until after next season (which might not sit well with Allen and his agent)
  3. Its pretty obvious to casual fans that Norman is shot, I'm sure its very apparent to the Bills staff. Id expect him to see minimal snaps if all our CBs stay healthy
  4. I think Allen's passing #s are going to taper off as the weather turns. I do think he'll break the 4000 passing yards barrier, which is great, but I don't think he'll get north of that 4450 mark. With his shoulder mostly healed up I actually expect the rushing avg to tick up coming down the home stretch.
  5. BUMP Zaven Collins #23, Tulsa, LB On ESPN now. Looking good
  6. Yes, I heard McDermott mention it in his last presser and my first thought was "uh oh". Anytime Singletary touches the ball it feels like a wasted play. Moss has been a little better, but not by much. Any thought that either of those guys needs more touches is not a good idea if the idea is maximizing our offensive output.
  7. This will make the win even that much sweeter. Man Josh Norman has really cost the Bills this year. Next to nothing as far as contributing on the field.....and now taking out starters and contributors in a big game. Maybe not his fault, but also not entirely not his fault either.
  8. We traded up with Tampa to get Allen, not AZ.
  9. 30-29 Bills. Bills go down 2 scores in the 1st half. Fight their way back in a back and forth game, and Bass hits a FG at the gun for the win. I see Bass being interviewed after the game for hitting the game winner and a coiple of deep ones in AZ.
  10. Milano is far and away our best LB and when he's on the field and healthy our defense is much better. The downside is he has missed a lot of games and has had a lot of soft tissue injuries, particularly hamstring pulls. Major injuries are kind of luck l, but soft tissue injuries can be a sign of injury prone. The Bills will have a decision to make......is he worth the $12-13M he will seek on the open market and will the Bills value him at that #? I'm not sure they will given his injury history, but with a tightening cap next year I'm not sure thr rest of the league will value him at that #. I think its possible another team with a crapload of space could throw a 4yr - $50M deal at Milano and I'm not sure the Bills would match that.....but I also think it might be in Milanos best interest to take a 1 yr deal and hit FA when the cap normalizes. If that's the case I could see thr Bills & Milano agreeing to a $6-8M 1 year deal with active game incentives to protect the team from any injuries. Truth be told I was a huge proponent of resigning Milano a few weeks ago, but I'm not as certain anymore. With the philosophy of having to outscore the best teams, perhaps you replace him with a draft pick and allocate the saved money back into the offense BTW a guy I have my eye on for next yrs draft is OLB, Zaven Collins, Tulsa. Looks like a really nice player, probably would need to spend a 1st rounder on him.
  11. Get woke, go broke as Clay Travis puts it. Its fine to cover sports and politics, but you need to be honest about it. When you cover sports, and pretend you don't dip your toe in politics but half of your listeners realize you always disparage one side of the spectrum you lose viewership. Thats what happened to ESPN in a nutshell. Its fine they're entitled to run whatever programming you want, but people will tune out if they don't like your stuff. And its not just politics, watching that Monday Night game last night was brutal. That 3 man booth is awful and it's tough to even leave the volume up. They were a running parody on my twitter account last night for some of the dumb stuff they were saying.
  12. Yes, I'm listening to Colin Cowherd now and the Tua spin is in full effect "If Miami played Buffalo tomorrow, I'm taking Miami" I watched the 2nd half of Tua's game yesterday and there was 1 main thing that stuck out to me: His arm strength is really bad. I was actually shocked at how bad a few of his balls looked coming out especially when he's pressured. When he does up against a defense that can pressure I think hes going to look lost. Hes young and has some ability to pick up 1sts with his legs, but his lack of size, and arm strength is not a combo Id want in a QB I'm looking to build around
  13. Has to be Tremaine Edmunds. He went from what seemed to be an above avg LB that was ascending. He now is performing at below replacement level and looks to be getting worse. Hes what the great Bill Parcells would call, "a ball in tall grass......LOST"
  14. 26-13 GOOD Guys Kicking game will be a mess with several missed xps. Lot of 4th down attempts in this game due to the weather.
  15. Because you can roll over cap space from one year to the next. So the $7M we wouldn't be paying Murphy if he was cut could've been rolled over to '21 and been used to sign a FA or help sign a guy like Milano. The Bills basically lit $7M on fire by not cutting Murphy before the season. $$$ they can't get back. Bad asset management on their one.
  16. Only way you can trade Murphy is if you sweeten the pot with a pick IMO. Trade Murphy and a 5th and get back a 7th, something like that. A team would be doing us a favor by taking the $4M off of our books. Not cutting him prior to the season was a huge mistake and cost us $7M in cap space next yr. that we can't get back. If Beane gets anything for Murphy without having to sweeten the pot, itd be a great job.
  17. 24-23 Jets Full on Armageddon scenario. Allen has another subpar performance. Defense gets banged up further and allows Darnold to have his best game of the season thus far.
  18. Unfortunately, yes I think thats what we are. The hot start by the iffense had me thinking maybe this was a 12-13 win team, but I think it was a little fools gold. Josh Allen has looked like a very nervous & indecisive QB these last 2 weeks, very similar to how he looked vs. Houston.in the playoffs. I really think he has a serious case.of the yips. In these big games, especially when teams play zone and blitz he looks lost. Hopefully he figures it out, but color me very nervous right now
  19. I totally agree with the OP. It seems bizarre, but you can almost see it in his face and eyes when he's nervous. Its the same look he had in the 2nd half of the Texans playoff game. He just looks downright scared/nervous. He had that look last night for the entire game, its troubling. I mentioned after the playoff loss that the team would be smart to have him get with somebody to figure out the nerves because it 100% affects his play. The bigger the game, the bigger the stage the more likely it is that Allen just plays like garbage. Its no coincidence that these last 2 night games hes looked absolutely awful. The first 4 games had me thinking maybe he'd turned the corner, but now I'm right back to thinking its a huge problem.
  20. Edmunds is a huge problem. He runs fast to the wrong spot consistently and its killing this defense. He is below replacement level at this point in his career despite what the team and local media would want you to believe. He actually tripped over the turf because he was running out of control like normal on that Mahomes pirouette near the sideline that got them to 4th and inches.......had he come in under control and broke down and made a tackle it would've been 4th and 5. He's just so out of control.
  21. The problem with Edmunds is hes the same exact player he was when we drafted him. Fast, tall LB.....but hes slow to diagnose and always seems to be going tot he wrong place. He was responsible for a lot of thise bootlegs Tannehill had because he gets so fooled on PA and runs himself right out of the play. I'm getting to the point where I just think this is the olauer he is and its below average. Every time Milano misses a game it reinforces that hes the only Good LB we have
  22. 29-16 Bad Guys I'm not feeling this game for the Bills. I think our offense lays its first egg of the season in Nashville. Milano out changes the entire complexion of our defense and Tannehill likes drinking and dunking across the middle where Milano is most valuable. Hope to hell I'm wrong because 5-0 would feel so sweet!
  23. They've had week 7 penciled in for Felicianos return. Eric Eo9d mentioned it a few weeks back on his WGR spot.
  24. I suppose its an idea that's possible, but I'm sure the Bills would want no part of it. Denver is a further road trip than Nashville and with a quick turnaround to face the Chiefs this Thursday thats somethng the Bills would surely not appreaciate. If we were playing a game next Sunday vs. the Chiefs I'd think a move like that would be more of a possibility, but with a game Thursday I just dont see it happening
  25. You're right. Tremaine is not nearly as good as the local media and team would have you believe and outside of that its bare
