OT: Update on the car situation - I got it!!
Stussy109 replied to daquixers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you could have bought the car with about 12-14k probably. A lease is supposed to be as little down as possible... Sounds like you got taken for a ride -
Way too much overconfidence on this board.

Bills win 27-17...We have a stud defense. I don't care who the receivers are. I'm confident... -
SIRI down $1.65 to 7.36, an 18.1% drop... get out and take your profit with you while u can. Looks like all the institutions sold theirs with 326million shares being traded. Sell and get back in when it comes back down to 4ish.

This company has yet to turn a profit, its all hype and speculation. Check out TASR for a growth stock. Taser has zero competition, and a healthy profit margin.

(OT) Sirius goin' crazy!

I don't liek the fact that the company is shelling out 500 Mill to stern, a bit hefty, and really kills your profit potential. For people looking on getting in on a solid growth stock with a proven record, and established profit, check out PLMO (Palm one they make the treo's) and TASR (Taser stun gun self defense company) I think PLMO has the most value based on its stock price. Also SBUX (Starbucks has just been riding up for months now). -
consider his QB, who getting 100yrds passing in a game is not that uncommon.

SoCal.... I wish i was as unintelligent as yourself, and have a low enoughs elf-esteem to stoop to your level, however I won't. I'm not from Buffalo, so don't categorize me in this gene pool. It is believed that when a person like yourself comes out and criticzes people for no apparent reason, your actual criticisms are your own weakest characteristics. Are you ashamed of your job, feel you are uglier than average. Somebody who is confident does not need to put down others and doesn't get easily agitated such as yourself. So in that respect I will treat you as if you are one of my 15year old students. 1st, I have been a part of this board since late 2000, i didn't feel the need, nor did I have the desire to respond or post topics until I became fed up with there play a couple years ago. 2nd, if you ask any lawyer his opinion on what transpired, most of the fault falls on Artest (a hothead) his entire career, Jackson, Jones, and Oneal. Artest is the moron who charged into the stands essentially tresspassing and assaulting the wrong dude. So lets put it this way, if you are at a sports game, and the idiot next to you throws a cup of beer at your away team, and a hothead player flys into the stands and hits you, how will you react??? I would defend myself and sue the stevestojan out of him. Secondly don't assume that Artest can take every American male because that is not the case with myself, nor many other people. I will stand by my viewpoint, and it will be shown to be true once the league hands out their judgements, Ben Wallace will be suspended for x# of games, and a small fine just for being the instigator, Artest will be heavily fined, sued, and suspended for x# of games, Jermaine O'neal will be less than Artest, but will be in trouble for sucker punching the fan. If a beer gets thrown on you, there is in no way you can plead self-defense by attacking the wrong dude, I'm sorry. What he did was wrong, plain and simple. He was in no physical danger, beer is not poisonous. No hard feelings SoCal, but grow the F up

Artest ought to be barred form the league, and wallace fined. Oneal ought to be sued

I would recommend working out 3x's/week. Eat what you are craving, as your body has unconscious ways of letting you know what you need. Mine does anyways. i eat tons of tuna subs, no extra mayo, extra veggies. Raisin Bran or cheerios in the morning, not too much juice. Tons of water, some vitamins like magnesium, b12, multivitamin, zinc and glucosamine chondroitinin. For the workout, i do about an hr of lifting, full body workout, and about 20mins of cardio. Feels great, gives you great muscle mass, and not too hard to stay on, only 3 days/week. Increase the cardio portion if you're trying to lose wieght. -
Football is entertainment, nothing more, nothing less. If you have the money to entertain and cheer the team... go for it. I'm a tru fan, yes bledsoe sux, but I still get pumped for every sunday the bills are playing.

www.scottrade.com 7$/trade and i agree with the investing for dummies -
ANy team that faces the Bills has the blueprint to beat buffalo. Force the game into Drews hands. Only games we have won are games where teams have not had 8-9 guys in the box to eliminate the run. That is why we can't beat th Pat's. They have the same gameplan for us everytime we face them. Make Drew beat them, he can't, and never will.

I agree.... a Roth IRA is a great way to make it big later on. You can still contribute up to 3k for 2004, and it goes up to 3500 for 2005. You can invest in stocks, mutual funds bonds etc. All the money, including the compound interest is tax free provided you wit until you are 59.5 yrs old. Can't beat it, the govt is giving you a chance to save for your retirement. I personally like the idea of paying taxes on 3g's now, and letting it make 8-12%/year for the next 20-30years, and taking the principle and profit tax free. Scottrade is the best company, 7$ trades, look into it. Just my opinion... For those of you who contribute above and beyond what your company matches in your 401k, make sure you max out your Roth IRA contribution b4 you invest beyond the company match. Can't beat the tax free growth.

THE DAY OF RECKONING IS AT HAND!!!!
Stussy109 replied to BradytoGivens's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the Pats D being suceptible to the run, look for Mcgahee 30+ times, and Henry 5-10 timesThis is due tot he fact they have been trying to control the clock, and keep the opposing offense off of the field. Buffalo will go 3 wide in obvious passing downs due to lack of depth at the reciever position with bobby shaw cut, and josh reed hurt. Daimon Shelton the FB is a nasty run blocker. Drew has been getting rid of the ball in the last few games, and actually avoiding the blitz. his pocket awareness has been great since the Baltimore game he had. Buffalo's Defense has been playing amazing football. WIth the exception of Terrence Mcgee tripping a few times last week, Bills D is a solid A performance every week. Corey Dillion will have trouble running the ball like every other running back we have faced. 24-21 Buffalo. the oddsmakers give way too much credit to the Pats. Their starting corners are out, and they're still -8. -
Draft Guys - Who might go #1 overall next year?
Stussy109 replied to stevestojan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They traded away their 2nd and 3rd rond picks this year ALA AJ Feely and Lamar Gordon -
First and foremost, you want to keep the Patriots offense off the field for as long as possible, thats why you have to rush the ball 30+ times against a pretty weak run Def. I think passing just becomes a little easier this sunday. the way to exploit it is to go 3 wide a little more than usual. Furthermore, i want to see Rodney Harrison pancaked on his ass every play by someone.

OT - what are those things players wear
Stussy109 replied to stuckincincy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I am correct, I think they apply pressure to the tendon in the elbow area which provides added support. i used to have one for my left knee, same concept. It is an elastic band with a rubber piece to apply pressure to the knee tendon. You see a lot of athletes where them, just provides added support to the joint/tendon, and relieves any tendonitis. Quite cheap and effective actually -
I agree with NJSUE... Its hard to forget the fact that we blew a few 4th quarter leads which tunr into L's rather than W's. We still have a competitive team to route for. This is a capable team, with a nasty defense. The defense alone is fun to watch. I also feel that our offense with Mcgahee in the backfield stands a chance against any team. Not to knock travis, because I love his style of play, but Willis just gets it done at the right times. Those are the players you need out there, playmakers. I think we can stuff the ball down the Jets throats all day long, and I have confidence we can contain their running game to 90yrds or less. Furthermore, I have been continually impressed with Mcgee's play at the outside corner spot. He is in every single play. The times he gives up plays are when he gets outjumped. I would support the move to lock him in that position, and move Vincent to Free saftey, because the more playmakers on the field, the better. Mcgee will make the release of Winfield look very smart from a cap perspective.
