  1. some things are possibly worth a sell in the short term, but u risk missing the big leg up. i think the worst of the market is behind us. I like BYD because they have cash on hand, and are a possible takeover target themselves.
  2. Its been my darling trading in and out numerous times, and is a large long term position of mine at 5$/shr. perfect example of opportunity in a crappy oversold market.
  3. I tend to think we have the pieces to be an above avg offense. If weather is on our side (trent is atrocious in poor weather games) I think we can finish above 500. We have an above avg WR corp, above avg RB's. avg QB, avg line, and below avg TE. Biggest question is how will our D hold up? I believe the defense will be middle of ghe pack, and if the offense can sustain some drives and keep the D off the field, they will be a top 10 defense
  4. I go to one abotu every 2 weeks for maintenace. get my back and neck adjusted each time, also get the muscle stimulation b4 hand. For me it provides immediate relief usually lasting a couple days, and is also extremely relaxing. the neck popping and mid back seem to have the best results when adjusted in my opinion. Go for it, it will only cost you 20$ or so. In addition, anything back or neck related, hanging can work magic. If you have anything you can hang from either at the gym or at your home, try hanging for 60 seconds/day. (2x's 30 sec ea) It stretches your back out and lets things slip back into place thta were previously compressed. The neck area could be tricky with this. I occasionally get super stiff necks after weight training and the chiro usually does the trick.
  5. Walker and Chambers dominated through preseason and got us 2-0 in the regular season. Kyle Williams spoke highly of bell in an offseason interview I heard. I think we will be fine. We have a tendency of finding good tackles, and good corners.
  6. I;m assuming he never signed his offer.
  7. Trenches blue-collar upside range burner impact player game changer finesse mauler freak hybrid
  8. Langston walker is Peters replacement. The line performed very well through the preseason and game 1 with Walker inserted at LT and Chambers at RT. Walker will be as good as peters was IMO.
  9. U Boats disrupted sea trade, as do Pirated mother ships and skiffs armed with Machine Guns and grenade launchers. Quit thinking so hard and trying to look smart. if a thief steals your car and either A)blows it up, or B)takes it from you to drive and listen to your mp3 player, you still don't have a car.
  10. I think a 400lb jason peters would be hotter. The wedding pic on pg 19 had me going for awhile.
  11. What he said, if u r actually there to watch the game, u r constantly interrupted by the people who think they are at the bar.
  12. HAHAHA...I was making myself laugh last night as I was posting it.
  13. I had a few of these flying around my house last summer. Took me a while to figure out what they were, because they were pretty fast and creepy when I would try to snap an upclose photo of them. It could be the same thing. flying bug
  14. Paid the kings ransom to one player, now everyone will want a piece!!!
  15. Really? Directv Just locked up sunday ticket for extra years at an exhorbitant price.
  16. So far our our most recent picks in the bottom part of the 1st rd have been McCargo (bust), and Losman (bust). History leans towards us not doing much better this time around in evaluating talent.
  17. Its just another instance of giving away our homegrown talent for cheap. In 2 yrs when LT's are making 15 million/season, the Peters deal will look like a bargain. After hearing how enamoured Banner and Reid are with Peters, I think had Brandon stuck to his guns, we would have gotten a better deal. He is clearly a friggin Dufus when it come to being a hardline negotiator. We overpay Kelsay, then ut-oh, schobel is upset, lets over pay him too. Lets bring in Mckelvin and sign him to a shorter than usual 1st rd deal. Ut-oh, our starting LT with 2 yrs left on his contract is upset, lets trade him for less than market value, otherwise he may hold out and accrue 600k in fines, real scary. Brandon is obviously in over his head and getting pushed around by these player agents. Agents must lick their chops when it comes to Brandon. He has overpaid for avg talent, and undersold our in house talent.
  18. Peters will be a stud for Philly and will be talked about for years to come after he dominates the unstoppable NFC east pass rushers IMO.
  19. I'm sure he'll have 60 million reasons to be happy to play a game that 99% of people play for free. I'm kind of pissed because I will now have to watch him every sunday, the eagles are my area's "Home team" and on tv. i have a sick feeling he will be a beast for years to come. Philly to me is in the likes of Pittsburgh and NE in scouting out talent. The fact they wanted him kind of scares me. Philly wants to win ball games, Buffalo wants to maximize profit. Hence their playoff appearances in the last decade.
  20. Does your boss at work take responsibility for you when you are out at the club with all your buddies?
  21. i think u could find many retired military/police to sign up for 4 week at sea rotations at 50k/yr. Major ships such as cargo ships and oil tankers would need a maximum of 4-5 heavily armed guys to really secure the ship, at a cost of 200k/yr. If they prevent one hijacking every 5=10yrs, the armed guards have paid for themselves. i would think their is room for an invention here. there is a need for a technology to keep people from boarding ships. How about electric fencing/barb-wire of some sort?
  22. Claiming zero is bad or you in the sense that you can make money throught the year on the money you would have had in your own pocket, instead you are willingly depositing your money in the US treasury for free. its better to owe a little at the end then to get a refund. I happen to have crazy write-offs over the last few years so I have been in the same situation even with climing a high #. i would rather owe the govt 15k then get a refund of 5k. Essentially I could have had 20k to play with for the whole yr.
  23. There are certain financial investments and other write-offs which cannot be anticipated and therefore result in a large return. I claim 5 or 6, and still get a good chunk of change back every yr. i think next yr will be the first time i have to pay a large chunk to the mighty uncle sam.
  24. Drop eight into coverage, and hope their is a glove wearing mary under center.
