  1. By Len Pasquarelli ESPN.com: So how long will Henry, who despite signing a four-year contract extension isn't going to earn a dime more in Nashville in '05 than he was scheduled to make in Buffalo http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/print?id=2113998&type=story Does that mean thwy are making him play out the last year of his K, and the extension is 4 years after that? Or did he get a signing bonus, but no raise is salary? Anyone have the numbers on the henry deal, I'm interested in what Tenn thought he was worth on an extension?
  2. maybe when he gets a bit older and starts cruising around, but "I want candy" works well.
  3. very happy the saga is over for both TH and the bills (and this board!). I think it was fair value considering everything, and I expect travis to do very well with with Tenn. He played like a true warrior for us and I loved him for playing hurt, but we have something better in Willis. Hope Willis stays healthy, but Lee is a good back up and depth is very important (same with Holcomb.) Go Bills. nice job TD.
  4. not gonna happen captain. we have alot of potential goalie talent in the system and you gotta let it play out to see wht it can do.
  5. I think they just focused on the high draft picks, not every guy on the team. but looks like your a amerks fan, so lets hear it?.
  6. good Q. he played well during the season, but wasnt stellar in the playoffs.
  7. http://www.nhl.com/futures/features/prospects_buf061605.html Hope the future is bright. I am still unsure of how the rumored cap will work, since it was to be flexible depending on each teams revenues. How will that impact the sabes who have low revs?
  8. paleeeeeze. 3 years is decades in nfl years. lets see how he does this year. how can you say long term deal when he has 3 years left? what is avg life a RB?
  9. he'll be a slot receiver, so in addition to motion, he is 2 yards off the line, which makes jamming more difficult b/c of his speed and quickness.
  10. 2 men down to start OT - 1 penalty was for abusive language. In ot???!! that is ridiculous!
  11. sheeeeit - tie game. the manitoba stadium announcer is so damn obnoxious.
  12. 4-2! nice. Roy's second of the game.
  13. listening now, thanks.
  14. where on the net? 27-12 in shots after 2 - sounds as if the amerrks are dominating.
  15. 3-2 w/ 2min in teh 2nd. was vanek hurt?
  16. from King on SI.com: "To be the highest-paid, or anything like that, is not going to make me feel any better,'' he told me. "That's not what makes me happy. In this game, the more one player gets, the more he takes away from what others can get. Is it going to make me feel any better to make an extra million, which, after taxes, is about $500,000? That million might be more important to the team.'' the following percentages of the Patriots' cap over the next six years (keep in mind the cap will bump up significantly with the new network deal beginning next season): four percent, eight percent, 11 percent, 12 percent, 11 percent, 9.5 percent. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/writ...rady/index.html in this day and salary cap age, this is a huge deal that he took a hometown discount. who has ever done this for the bills??????
  17. caught them 2 years ago at pac bell in SF - amazing show. They still got it going. Mick runs around and sings like he is 20 - i bet you old farts will have to grab a seat for some of the show while mick continues to rampage around. The key to concerts is you show up and scalp - everyone always buys extra tix and i usually end up paying way less than face. In Sf i paid 40 for 100 floor seats. then used that stub the next night to get down there again after i bought an upper level tix for 10 bucks. ya gotta work it to get a good deal.
  18. last i heard vaughn had signed with the skins. but i believe that was during last season while he was rehabbing a knee injury. when i saw him w/ SD he was at guard and was playing well, and the team always talked about moving him to tackle.
  19. Are you concerned about your own offensive production to date: one assist in three games? "No, not at all." same old story.
  20. Henry a no-show...no surprise http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/8429442
  21. this is true, along w/ about 10,000 other reasons i can think of. I feel JP is going to be very productive for us...but of course there will be growing pains as he learns.
  22. yep. and he answered your question campy. a very polite kid!

Roscoe reply: Wil is a pretty good bowler, but I bet I can beat him! lol I dont know about hockey. I wont do any kind of predictions. I am just going to do whatever the coaches ask me to help the team win ball games. Winning is all I care about, not how many catches I make.
