  1. I think Brady's rating of 68 in the 4th quarterkind of covers it .... The guys on the practice squad have rings also ... your point???
  2. That is teh abritrators ruling . and carries no weight at all .. comish still decides what happens ... So its totaly meaningless !
  3. This was not intended as a shot at Brady ... but I feel that Drew has never been as bad as people say ... he is what he is .. and I would take his arm strengh over Brady any day .... Neither can run ... both are similar in style ... Drew is a product of his schooling .. a drop back passer ... and he is having a average year for his career ... which is true for about 60% of the people in any occupation .. rather him than a raw rookie !!! Besides .. Brady is a TAD overrated ... winning and losing has a lot more to do about the team .. than the QB .. as long as he is not killing you ...
  4. I was wondering how Drew had played over his career .. and how Brady has done. Some stats Drew - 11 years - not going to count the 2 games he played the year he was hurt has a 76.7 career rating ... at 76.9 this year Completion percent of 57% for his career, 56.4% this year 232 yards per game in his career, 183 this year 6.6 yards per attempt .. this year and for his career in 170 games he has 398 sacks and 90 fumbles, 42 that he lost Both are right on his career averages. So Drew is doing just about average for him ... no more , no less ... Where does he do well ? When a tied game ... has a rating of 90. When passing wide left or right ... over 84 rating. Yahoo lists the type of game, number of games and his rating: In Win 8 89.1 One-Sided 11 73.5 Not Close 9 71.3 In Loss 6 60.5 Close 5 87.4 Late&Close 7 96.3 I guess in late, close games he plays well .. just what you would want ... looks like when they are losing badly he paly be trying to hard?? Brady Career 86 rating ... and at 90 this year .. 10 points above Drew. In the first 3 quarters of a game he has a rating of 80, 100, 100 and in the 4th quarter his rating is 68 In Win 12 95.5 One-Sided 11 89.7 Not Close 10 86.4 In Loss 2 65.9 Close 4 99.6 Late&Close 8 65.2 Interesting how badly he is at late and close. Comments???
  5. The AFC and NFC squads are made up of the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each groups vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters. Wonder how that works ... leading guy from each is different lets say ... who picks the winner????? Strange system ! Maybe you get some points for how you finish ... and then they combine the polls ... almost like a all-star vote
  6. I think so .... but with no running attack ... means more passing ... and SF has a ok pass defense ... will be a battle

  8. Me too ! Loved them ... just make sure the dog doesn't eat them ... ours did ... not good for the dog !
  9. Spikes will be .. but he is 3rd leading tackler on the Bills - Fletcher leads by a lot and should be a All-pro ... Fletcher 91 solo / 36 assisted 127 total plus 3.5 sacks, he is 3rd in the league, 7 behind Ray Lewis McGee 74 solo / 7 assisted 81 total, 3 INTs, 26.6 return average and 3 TD's Spikes 61 solo / 25 assisted 86 total, 4INT's, 2 for TD's Could see either Adams or Williams as a reserve ... deserve better Moorman is 3rd in average ... and similar numbers to the others .. other 3 play in Oakland (nice weather) , Indy (dome) and Tennesse (little better weather). Don't see anyone from the offense making it.
  10. hey - there is only about 6 GOOD teams in the league .. the rest are about the same .. and a couple stink ... each of those teams has beaten some good teams .. and lost to some bad team ... same as everyone has this year (NEvsMiami) ... Its just a list !
  11. Since Pittsburgh lost to Baltimore 30-13 (by 17) and Baltimore lost to 20-3 AND Cincinnati 27-26 (by 1) and Cincinnat lost to Buffalo 33 -17 (by 16) Does that make the Bills the best team in the league?? Would the Bills really win by 34?????
  12. Wild card is easy .. we need one more win than teh 3 teams we are tied with .. otherwise we lose ... as simple as that .. we have to go 2-0 .. and they need to lose a game each ..
  13. And his "hit" was no worse than the hit at the end of teh Brady interception ... except the guy popped right back up ... and no fine there ... not even a flag .. NFL is so full of it !
  15. Sf so far ... Sun 9/12 Atlanta L 19-21 against a good team. lost by 2 Sun 9/19 at New Orleans L 27-30 lost by 3 Sun 9/26 at Seattle L 0-34 team we beat also Sun 10/3 St. Louis L 14-24 team we beat also Sun 10/10 Arizona W 31-28 team we beat also Sun 10/17 at NY Jets L 14-22 close game lost by 8 Sun 10/31 at Chicago L 13-23 Sun 11/7 Seattle L 27-42 team we beat also Sun 11/14 Carolina L 27-37 Sun 11/21 at Tampa Bay L 3-35 Sun 11/28 Miami L 17-24 team we beat also Sun 12/5 at St. Louis L 6-16 team we beat also Sun 12/12 at Arizona W 31-28 team we beat also Sat 12/18 Washington L 16-26 good D and played them tight I think its closer than people say ....and a west coast game also ... and a game we "should" win .. we all know how those can go !! Except for a blowout at Seattle twice and one against TB they have been within 10 or less the whole time ... and beat Arizona twice Bills 24 SF 10 Because we need it more !
  16. I was suprised on some of the scores ... just goes to show that given the right matchups, someone being hurt, someone being hot, at home or away ... anyone can beat anyone ... Bet if you looked at who has beaten Pittsburgh .. you could follow it down to Sf being better !!! LOL .. and we know THAT not true !
  17. DUDE, I am 49 ... actually saw Blue Oster Cult back in 1972 here in Rochester on New Years eve ..... And its still just your typical way to long SNL skit .... You want funny? Get a copy of theSNL skit about Harry Potter - With LL ! Now THAT funny !
  18. This must be funny to the 20 year olds ... other than that ... would stupid qualify? "I want some more ..... Bills posts !!"
  19. Someone posted the fact the Bills have beat some "poor" teams and how had others done against the same teams .. so looking at the AFC east In the AFC east - the Bills, Jets and Pats are each 3-0 against the NFC - Miami is 2-2 .. so thats 11-2 ... not to bad ! 20. Bills' McGahee having tests on injured knee NFL.com wire reports ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (Dec. 20, 2004) -- Running back Willis McGahee was having tests on his injured right knee Dec. 20 and could miss Buffalo's next game at San Francisco. "We're optimistic," McGahee's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told The Associated Press. "I don't think it's anything serious. We're not that concerned about it. I don't know how it will impact him for next week, but it's nothing to be overly alarmed about." The Bills declined comment, saying any update will come from coach Mike Mularkey later in the day. The Bills have described the injury as a hyperextension. McGhaee was hurt when he stumbled and landed awkwardly while catching a swing pass in the second quarter of Buffalo's 33-17 win at Cincinnati on Dec. 19. He returned for the start of the third quarter, getting five carries before sitting out the fourth quarter. The good news is the injury is not to McGahee's left knee, the one he tore up in his final college outing for Miami in the Hurricanes' loss to Ohio State in the 2003 national championship game. That injury forced the first-round pick to miss his entire rookie season last year. McGahee has played a pivotal role in the Bills' resurgence this season, helping them overcome an 0-4 start to climb back into AFC playoff contention. Buffalo (8-6) is 8-1 in games McGahee has started and won all six in which he's rushed for 100 yards. The Bills' offensive backfield is already without backup Travis Henry, the former starter who's missed four games with a broken bone in his right leg. While the Bills have not provided a timetable for Henry's return, he's yet to practice since he was hurt in Buffalo's 38-9 win at Seattle. Rookie free agent Shaud Williams is next on the depth chart, followed by third-year veteran Joe Burns, who's considered more of a blocking back. Williams had 11 carries for 30 yards filling in for McGahee against the Bengals.
