  1. NE has a HORRIBLE defense and Brady, playing in his FIRST game in over a year, looked horrible. Tonight was a gift that we refused to accept.
  2. ...another Scott Norwood. Just what we need.
  3. BS - The AFC East is between us and the Jets. ...just watch!
  4. Per the New York Times linked article, TOTUS has no plans to write a bill. Moreover, Senate Democrats clearly have a different health care agenda than TOTUS does. Earlier in the week Chris Matthews of MSNBC was starting to ask whether Democrats simply know how to govern. Right now it looks like they can't. TOTUS live in Minneapolis, today - just prolonging the inevitable.
  5. The Bottom Line: When TOTUS was speaking in front of the full Congress three nights ago, he was just pretty much making up things as he went along. Obama hasn't even crafted his own plan yet, as the linked article states! That's embarrassing! And, when is all said-and-done, Illegals will be covered and there is likely to be NO Public-Option. How is Obama going to explain that?

  8. http://prescriptions.blogs.nytimes.com/200...-house-says/?hp September 11, 2009, 6:38 pm Illegal Immigrants Could Not Buy Insurance on New ‘Exchange,’ White House Says By David M. Herszenhorn The White House on Friday said it would bar illegal immigrants from purchasing health coverage through a proposed insurance marketplace. But the administration also said that the federal government would continue to require hospitals to provide emergency treatment to illegal immigrants at taxpayer expense. The question of how illegal immigrants would fare under a proposed overhaul of the health care system came into sharp focus on Wednesday during President Obama’s speech to Congress. Representative Joe Wilson, Republican of South Carolina, shouted “You lie!” when Mr. Obama insisted that his health care overhaul would not insure illegal immigrants. And the Obama administration’s determination to show that immigrants will not benefit from the health system overhaul highlighted the extraordinary sensitivity to the issue at a time when lawmakers still remain divided over whether the government should pay to provide health coverage for all American citizens. A White House spokesman, Reid Cherlin, said that the president’s proposals would bar illegal immigrants from purchasing private insurance through the new government marketplace, known as an exchange, and that verification of immigration status would be required for anyone seeking to purchase coverage. Although Mr. Obama in his speech referred to his “plan,” the White House has not developed a written legislative health care proposal and does not intend to do so, instead relying on committees in Congress, which have drafted several versions of the bill, some running more than 1,000 pages. Mr. Cherlin said the White House was considering various enforcement options, including the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements program, which states now use to prevent illegal immigrants from accessing government aid programs for which they are not eligible. Mr. Cherlin said the president’s position on immigrants was in keeping with a long-standing view that he first articulated during last year’s presidential campaign. The White House said that illegal immigrants would still be able to purchase health insurance through the private market, as they can now, but acknowledged that the private market was certain to shrink after the creation of the new marketplace. Many illegal immigrants must now seek medical treatment in emergency rooms, which by law cannot turn them away. In recent years, the federal government has spent $250 million a year to reimburse hospitals for bills that go unpaid as a result. The White House said those reimbursements would continue. A draft of the health care legislation approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee would allow illegal immigrants to purchase insurance through the new marketplace, but would bar them from obtaining government subsidies to help low-income individuals and families afford coverage. Under that House bill, illegal immigrants would not be subject to a new requirement that all Americans purchase health insurance. Some non-citizens legally residing in the United States would be required to purchase health insurance, but they would be barred from obtaining subsidies even if their income were low enough to otherwise meet the eligibility requirements. Senators who have been negotiating a compromise health care bill in the Senate Finance Committee said on Friday that they were contemplating steps to prevent illegal immigrants from benefiting from the health system overhaul, but some aides said they did not believe lawmakers intended to bar illegal immigrants from purchasing insurance at full cost, through the new exchange or otherwise, should they be able to do so. The White House position could draw a backlash from advocates for immigrants.
  9. Well, uh, for what it's worth: I am of the opinion that there should be active 24/7 abortion clinics on pretty much every other street corner in all of America's inner cities.
  10. New York Times quote today: "The Buffalo Bills offense is at mid-season form. Unfortunately, that season is spring."
  11. The "public option" died last night and nobody knows if illegal immigrants are covered.
  12. The Bottom Line: A President who trips over himself every day trying to explain his version of health care reform will likely be a complete failure trying to implement such reform. Most Incompetent. President. Ever.
  13. Like we all believe that! Tell you what, below linked is the NY Times blog re: Van Jones resignation. By comment 30 the words "incompetence" and (questioning) "competence" are being used against President Obama FOUR TIMES. I stopped reading after that. http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/09...page=1#comments The bloggers at this site are not the only people using the word "incompetent" re: Barack Obama. The Republicans are slipping it into conversations all over the news. And when Obama's disastrous health care plan crashes this week expect them to use it a lot more. Eight months into the Obama presidency and he's already being called incompetent! That's even worse than George Bush at his four year mark!
  14. Faith! I'm one of many Syracuse area Paulus watchers who never understood why he decided to play college basketball over football. And I have NO faith in Edwards! He's a decent QB but has the personality and leadership skills of a fence-post. The Buffalo Bills have been a shell of an organization for 10 years. Paulus could really be the shot-in-the-arm that we need.
  15. ...dude, mellow! It was Paulus' first college level game. The Bills are going NOWHERE under Edwards.
  16. It was Paulus' first collegiate level football game. He has a huge upside while Trent Edwards....ugh!
  17. Syracuse University Orangemen Captain QB Greg Paulus was 19 of 31 for 164 yards, had one touchdown and one interception in the 23-20 loss to the University of Minnesota, yesterday at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse. Paulus, a Syracuse, NY native, played his first competitive football game since 2004, that game being in high school. A football AND basketball All-American at Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, Paulus decided to play basketball at Duke University. Most Paulus watchers here in Syracuse felt that Paulus should have played football at the collegiate level. "Reminds me somewhat of Doug Flutie." a friend of mine said to describe Greg Paulus' play in yesterdays game. Remember Doug Flutie, fellow Bills fans? Remember him? Remember when Doug Flutie played QB for the Buffalo Bills? Whether you liked Flutie or not when he played for the Bills the team had: 1. A pulse. 2. A personality. 3. A desire to win. 4. A true leader. 5. Greg Paulus is a WINNER! 6. Edwards is a DOLT! Greg Paulus is in his way UP! And there's many fans here in Syracuse that would love to see him as the starting QB for the Buffalo Bills. We KNOW he will succeed! Feel free to add posts Pro-Greg Paulus posts after each SU football game. And then picture him in a Buffalo Bills uniform.
  18. Fixed? The offense is now Fixed? The offense?
  19. ...no, he wasn't. You're making things up, dude!
  20. Because Obama is turning out to be an incompetent DOLT, I honestly think conservatives like Hannity are just going way over the top - simply to anger liberals. They seem to be enjoying themselves, too. Every time I see James Carville on television these days he looks suicidal.
  21. Q. How many Buffalo Bills pre-season games were broadcast in Albany? A. None.
  22. People in New York's CAPITAL not giving a F about a Buffalo sports team is geographically understandable. They SHOULD care about the SU Orangemen football team, though!
