No, Romney has a pretty decent resume! Both government and private sector. -
The New and Improved Mitt Romney
PearlHowardman replied to UConn James's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The reason why Glenn Beck at FOX is so popular is because he focuses on numbers. Debt. Finance. Spending. Taxes. These are things that Americans are focusing on. These all fall into the specialty of Romney - managing MONEY! Obama has 129 "Present" votes in the Illinois State Legislature, NOTHING in the US Senate and NOTHING since becoming POTUS 13 months ago. Obama's got nothing other than a teleprompter. Obama is the anti-Bush but Bush is completely irrelevant now! Obama lacks the experience of getting things done and he also lacks the experience of knowing that when you don't get things done you LOSE! -
The New and Improved Mitt Romney

The candidate of the Left, Obama, hasn't done squat in over a year in office. It's simply because the Left couldn't run a Kool Aid stand. The Left will have no credibility in '12. Hopefully the '12 campaign will focus on FISCAL COMPETENCE - Romney! -
Obama's newest employment claim.

Barack H. Obama political accomplishments to date: Illinois State Legislature - 129 "Present" votes US Senate - Nothing 13 Months as US President - Nothing -
13 months now and counting! Obama completely BLOWS the Democratic Super Majority by getting NOTHING accomplished!

Here's the best example of FRAUD! The real Party of "No" is the DEMOCRAT party! Gitmo closed yet? --- NO. Out of Iraq yet? --- NO. Afghan surge working yet? --- NO. Bin Laden eliminated yet? --- NO. Unemployment below 8% yet? --- NO. Healthcare reform yet? --- NO. Bailouts working yet? --- NO. Transparency yet? --- NO. Terrorists tried yet? --- NO. Iran sanctions yet? --- NO. Is there any sign of the Democrats turning things around? --- NO.

If you read the NY Times on-line it's easy to see how Obama is doing so poorly among the liberal elites. Their negative posts-comments on any Obama related articles proves how he's losing his base. But one liberal-elite made an observation there that made me think. He said (paraphrase): "In Obama's first year he should have shelved health care and focused exclusively on the economy and jobs. Then he and the Democrats could have demonstrated government competence and then actually expanded their super majority in the 2010 mid term elections. Then he should have turned to health care." He didn't and now he's got nothing. Sad.

More importantly, I wonder what they were looking for?

Interesting Opinion Piece on Barry O'Bama
PearlHowardman replied to Fastback's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The first year into Obama's current four year Internship and it's obvious that even Bush was more competent. Obama got those 129 "Present" votes in the Illinois State Legislature because he is a follower, not a leader. -
Bottom Line: This bill was never going to be approved even if Coakley won and the Dems still had their Super Majority. Democrats are INCOMPETENT! Get it? First it was supposed to be on Obama's desk by July of 2009. Then August. Then by Thanksgiving. Then by Christmas. Then comes the outright GRAFT of the Nebraska Cornhusker deal. The Louisiana Purchase. Then unions wouldn't have to pay for it while the rest of us would. You should go and work for Obama. He's bringing back all of his 2008 Presidential campaign staff for the November mid-term elections. A kind of Spring 1945 Adolf Hitler bunker-mentality now going on in the White House. You would be a perfect fit.

Same here! Obama is just too much of a thinker and not a doer. When you're the President of anything you need to be a doer. Being a doer is not Obama's DNA. He would rather write articles like "Why Haiti Matters" instead of leading the government. Obama's last two speeches in MA and OH were awkward and dull. In his MA speech for Coakley he said that he didn't know Scott Brown's political record. WTF?
-
It's simple: Obama and the Democrats need to abandon health (insurance) care. Every day that they talk about health (insurance) care means that they didn't understand the results of the MA election. And the VA and NJ elections, too. Obama should focus on: Jobs Jobs Jobs If he keeps talking health (insurance) care and not jobs then F him! Democrats will go down in flames next November.

Brown for Senate!!!
PearlHowardman replied to billnutinphoenix's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No, no, NO! Coakley MUST WIN! If she loses there's NO WAY we can possibly handle all of the self-loathing Democrats! Their self-hatred will eventually be directed at everyone else! -
Brown for Senate!!!

Brown for Senate!!!
PearlHowardman replied to billnutinphoenix's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If Brown wins, Obama is politically dead. No? Not just health care (insurance). Obama campaigned in NJ and VA and those Democrats lost. If Obama campaigns in MA and that Democrat loses...what does that say about Obama? Besides that he's 0 for 3. -
Sour Grapes by the Bills Front Office?
PearlHowardman replied to ChasBB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It IS funny and the posters who don't like it are the ones who need to get a life. -
Let me guess: You moved to Albany. Perhaps you should be a Giants, Jets, or Patriots* fan, if that is the case.

I am completely AGAINST counting illegal aliens. But I'm all for proper counting of all "negros", regardless of their "negro dialect."

This is getting worse! http://www.fireandreamitchell.com/2010/01/...t-lotts-ouster/ Obama forgives Harry Reid’s racist comments, yet in 2002 demanded Trent Lott’s ouster As the revelations of Harry Reid’s racist negro dialect remark spreads like wildfire around the ‘net, Harry Reid was forced to call up and apologize to Obama in Saturday afternoon. Obama seemed to have no problem with Reid’s racism: “I accepted Harry’s apology without question because I’ve known him for years, I’ve seen the passionate leadership he’s shown on issues of social justice and I know what’s in his heart,” Obama said in a written statement. “As far as I am concerned, the book is closed.” Yet in 2002, as the Washington Examiner notes, Then Senate majority leader Trent Lott, R-Miss., was hounded out of his majority leader position after he remarked favorably on former Sen. Strom Thurmond’s 1948 run for president on a segregationist third-party line. Obama whined and complained at the time and said this: “It seems to be that we can forgive a 100-year-old senator (Thurmond) for some of the indiscretion of his youth, but, what is more difficult to forgive is the current president of the U.S. Senate (Lott) suggesting we had been better off if we had followed a segregationist path in this country after all of the battles and fights for civil rights and all the work that we still have to do,” said Obama. He said: “The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party.” Hypocrisy much Obama?
