  1. Q. Why are you ALWAYS bringing up the Giants and Jets in Albany? And you're from Long Island, right? I do a lot of work in Albany and Saratoga Springs. As a Bills fan from CNY (Syracuse) I get treated like dirt when I'm there by the fans of the teams that you ALWAYS post about. And there's NO Bills merchandise in any of the retail stores there!
  2. This post was started by a part-time Jets or Giants fan from Albany and now we have Cowboys fans from Texas contributing. Interesting.....
  3. Do the retailers in the Albany-Saratoga area feel the same way? I travel to both cities on business and there's NO Buffalo Bills merchandise in the stores. None. Giants & Jets stuff all over the place. And there's a lot of Pats fans there too, I understand? And no snow.
  4. No snow in Albany per NOAA. http://lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov/snow-and-ice/recent.php?period=7&region=30&submitted=Submit Buffalo Bills fans in CNY and WNY are currently DIGGING out of 1-3 feet of snow.
  5. Got it! They like the Jets & Giants in Albany. But, NYC is 1/2 the distance from Albany that Buffalo is. So it makes sense. Why the continual new posts about this subject?
  6. Seriously, are you a Bills fan first and then a Giants or Jets fan a close second? Or are you a Giants or Jets fan first and a Bills fan a CLOSE second? The area of NYS that I would consider Bills territory - Binghamton- Elmira, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo is presently covered in snow. Albany has no snow. None! That blanket of snow over CNY and WNY and not ENY is the Buffalo Bills blanket of snow.
  7. I don't know who Dr. Tooth here is but he and I see this LOSER team and LOSER organization for the LOSERS that they are. Most every poster in this thread should be eating a lot of crow right about now!
  8. Do any of you supposed Bills fans even read the game articles on the left side of the twobillsdrive.com page? Do you? Example: BillsDaily.com reports: "For the 2nd straight week the Bills got annihilated in the stat columns in the first half. They were outgained 246-41. The Vikings had 17 first downs to the Bills 2 and turned the ball over three times before intermission." And this is one of the more gentle reviews of the Bills.
  9. Sorry, John. It's just that I live down here on this place called the Planet Earth. And down here on Planet Earth, the Bills look very bad. Not just today. And I think that I speak for all those other Planet Earth Bills fans who no longer post here. What planet are you looking at the Buffalo Bills from?
  10. It's your fault? And here I was thinking that even if the Buffalo Bills had EVERY break go their way throughout the season, they MIGHT end up 5-11! Next season record: 6-10 (WITH all the breaks)!
  11. Just as long as I don't have to wear the rose colored glasses that a lot of posters here are wearing!
  12. ...just keep drinking that Kool-Aid!
  13. It's neither. It's a playoff-less season. Nothing more.
  14. Bills fans - We barely hung on to beat the Lions but we had a very good showing against an awful Cincinnati team. These are the only two wins that the Buffalo Bills have this season. To see how the Bills played against 8-3 Pittsburgh, you need to read the game review in a Pittsburgh newspaper. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10333/1106904-150.stm "Abandoned by an offense that generated a touchdown on the game's first possession and then took the next three hours off, caught in a tug-of-war by an unlikely saboteur named Chris Kemoeatu (four penalties, three enforced), the Steelers' defense delivered one monster moment after the next until Shaun Suisham's fourth field goal closed out a 19-16 victory."
  15. And who is the Thurman Thomas on the 2010 squad?
  16. No, not it's not. Fitz will never lead this or any team to a SB championship. Chan is no Marv. We need a better GM.
  17. WTVH CBS channel 5 in Syracuse probably got a few requests from Jets fans last week to broadcast their game. The Jets are winning, their training camp (not all of it, though) is in Cortland, and the Bills only had one win prior to last week. WTVH stuck with the Bills game. They also probably had a few Giants fans requests this week to broadcast their game since it's on CBS. Channel 5 is still sticking with the Buffalo Bills, despite just having two wins. More on WTVH from Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WTVH NFL controversy In 1997, CBS gained the rights to the American Football Conference of the National Football League. The league determined that portions of Yates County, a fairly narrow location only a few miles wide at certain points, was within 75 miles (121 km) of Ralph Wilson Stadium home of the Buffalo Bills. That area is on the far western fringe of the Syracuse market and it has bounced between the Syracuse and Rochester markets a couple of times. Therefore, WTVH is forced to blackout Buffalo Bills games if they do not sell out. With this station's control over the Utica market, unless the Bills are hosting a National Football Conference team or the game is on Sunday or Monday nights, it would be blacked out there as well. This was not the case when NBC held the rights to AFC games. WSTM was allowed to broadcast Bills games even when they did not sell out. However, the NFL and Bills apparently had not checked the regional television market boundaries for a number of years before the switch from NBC to CBS. Bills games at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario in Canada are not subject to blackout restrictions in Syracuse as no part of the area is within 75 miles (121 km) of Toronto.
  18. http://the506.com/sports/?tag=2010-week-12 Even I was wary about having the Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game broadcast last week here in Syracuse. I didn't want to be embarrassed so I almost wanted the Jets on TV. I was wrong. The Bills blowout of the Bengals really woke up a lot of Bills (ok, bandwagon) fans around here. They're starting to come out of the woodwork here in CNY. Bills vs. Steelers on TV in Syracuse this weekend!! If the Buffalo wins Sunday vs. Pittsburgh...man, this place is ready to go crazy!! There is A LOT of pent up fan frustration in Syracuse.
  19. Are you kidding me? If I started a sober post regarding the Buffalo Bills long term future on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or any other day the lightweight posters here still would have flamed me. You younger posters here just aren't mature enough to take a candid look at the Bills, their prospective draft position, or the rest of the AFC East. What a bunch of babies this board has attracted lately!!
  20. Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! But expect the "lightweight" short-sighted Bills fans on this board to rip you a new one. You see, you can't talk about the Bills future (draft pick) or AFC East competition, or when the Bills expect to be in the playoffs again. You get labeled a troll, whatever that really is. Aren't we all trolls here?
  21. As I said. Two, three, four years ago posters here would have talked about the playoffs, etc. Grow up, people!
  22. The quality of posters on this board had dropped a lot recently. Not too long ago people would have answered my question. But I guess the "lightweight" posters here really don't want to talk about the playoffs, the Patriots, the Jets, the Dolphins, etc. Sad!
