  1. No. QB is THE most important position on any football team. And Fitz is...not good. 8-8 with most losses occurring in the middle to the end of the season as Fitzpatrick wears down.
  2. This benefits the Bills. Fitzpatrick needs all the help he can get. But even with the help of the league, Fitz will still only be able to take this team so far. 8-8.
  3. Yup! I remember when Drew Bledsoe came to the Bills. We were so PUMPED! Now the same level of excitement - and for a player who's not going to be scoring TDs. And our current QB is.....
  4. You know, the Mario Williams signing brings me back to...back to...it reminds me of....oh, yeah - it reminds me of when Drew Bledsoe was signed. ...wait!
  5. Whatever happens Bills fans better recognize that with Fitz as QB this team is 8-8.
  6. Nope! I detected the sarcasm - which is why I removed the Emoticons. I have no time for sarcasm. We need a new QB ASAP or we're looking at 8-8 with most of the losses happening at the end of the season when everyone on the team has given up. P.S. I have not purchased any new Bills tickets or any Bills merchandise. When I see a playoff contender I'll start to buy.
  7. ...that's about right! We Need A New Quarterback (not to mention several more key offense players)! Fitzpatrick can't get the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs! He can't last a full season! Period!
  8. 100% positively absolutely pefectly correct on ALL of your points!
  9. Agreed. The Bills need another QB to get to the next level.
  10. This is not another 'Fitz sucks' thread. It's a 'in order for the Bills to get to the playoffs we need a better offense and let's start with the QB' thread.
  11. Then Sal Maiorana at the Rochester D-and-C pretty much nailed it: Mario Williams brings two more victories to the Buffalo Bills. That means 8-8. Great!
  12. This is THE most insightful post on this board in a long time. Congratulations #34fan. You are an intelligent person. Fitzpatrick is a weak link in this weak offensive unit. I was thinking this morning of Mario Williams getting tired of being on the field so long because the offense goes 3 and out so much. I see him getting bored very quick! Again, congratulations on your awesome post.
  13. Since it's not in MW's job description to score TDs we need to focus on the offense. This team can go only so far with wedding ring Ryan Fitzpatrick as QB. His contract must be restructured and he must go. Until that happens it's just Ralph Wilson making a lot of money off of the MW signing.
  14. I'm one of the few Bills fans that flipped-out when mediocre QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was given such a sweet new salary cap compromising deal. Knowing full well that the offense, the unit responsible for putting points on the board, was screwed. Hall of Fame Class of 2009 Bruce Smith in his prime couldn't compensate for that dumb contract extension.
  15. You first might want to see a 3 minute video of the cash registers at RWS to understand what the signing of Williams REALLY means. I live in Syracuse. I attend one home Bills game per year, if I can get a cheap ticket and can split the car gas with at least two other Bills fans. I have not purchased any Bills clothing, trinkets, etc in at least 10 years. I fell hook, line, an sinker for the Drew Bledsoe signing. I won't fall for anything like that again! And Bledsoe was on the OFFENSIVE side of the ball!!
  16. That's a great video! Just one question, the Bills went 6-10 this past season and the NE and OAK games were wins simply because those two teams collapsed at the end. How is the signing of Mario Williams going to bring us from 4-12 to anything more respectable? News Link: Ralph Wilson is already cashing in. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Bills-ticket-office-extends-Saturday-March-17-hours/66d713ee-e6e9-4d49-a9df-ed7f6acdfb6e ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills announced due to high demand that the team’s ticket office will have extended hours tomorrow, Saturday, March 17th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Ticket representatives will be available to answer questions from prospective season-ticket holders about available seat locations inside Ralph Wilson Stadium. Bills Chief Executive Officer Russ Brandon today announced that over 1,000 new season tickets were purchased and over 1,000 season tickets were renewed in the past 24 hours.
  17. Devils Advocate: Wilson realizes he overpaid an average QB while at the same time is mandated by the NFL to spend a certain percentage of the salary cap. So Wilson gives the green light to sign a big name defensive player but manages to overpay him, too. Salary cap implications leave not a lot of money for other players. But stadium tickets and jerseys create large revenue. Just sayin'.
  18. Clever! Still, there's a lot of holes on this team and not a lot of salary cap money to fill those holes. I wonder how flexible Ryan Fitzpatrick is to restructuring. Otherwise,......
  19. I honestly think it was the money that Mario was offered by the Bills that motivated him to sign with us. Not so much Jim Kelly.
  20. Salary cap ramifications.
  21. THAT'S what I'm talking about...but the Fitz/Williams salary cap implictions kind of kind of invalidate...nevermind.
  22. Cool (not koolaid). But it looks like no one wants to post the salary cap hit of Fitz & Williams. I feel the same way. I don't want to think about it either because it's BAD!
  23. Clearly you understand but reluctantly agree with my post. You even admit the Williams signing is nothing more than kool-aid. Even I didn't go that far. While I'm here, does anyone know the combined salary cap hit for both Williams and Fitzpatrick? Or would you all prefer NOT to know it, like me?
  24. http://www.livestrong.com/article/447265-pectoral-pain/ Identification Made up of the pectoralis major and pectoralis minor, the pectorals are the thick muscles located on the front portion of the chest. They're responsible for lifting and rotating the arms, meaning they play a significant role in most all physical activities. Pectoral pain can hinder movement and even make breathing uncomfortable. Treatment Pectoral pain from simple pulls and strains can be treated with ice, rest, stretching and massage. Wearing a sling to immobilize the arm on the injured side can help alleviate discomfort and assist the healing process, which could take several weeks to completely recover. Full pectoral tears may require surgery to reattach the muscle. Surgery will also require a long, sometimes painful rehabilitation process that could take anywhere from four months to a year before normal range of motion returns. Q. If Williams' injury was simple it would have taken several (not twelve) weeks to heal. Did Williams have surgery? Somewhere along the four months to a year before normal range of motion returns?
  25. This will be Williams 7th NFL season?
