  1. This is EXACTLY my sentiment as well. I picture the Vince Lombardi trophy in my head and try to match it up against our Bills teams year after year. If I don't see a match, and I never do, then I'm barely interested. I've been doing this since 1995.
  2. +1 We could also say that he's going to be back again next season.
  3. Whenever I'm watching a Bills game and the camera suddenly shows Chan Gailey I immediately think he looks like an elderly high school shop teacher, a bus driver, a plumber, jobs like that. All very honorable professions but NOT a football head coach.
  4. "The fish rots from the head down." NFL HOF Coach Marv Levy And in our case the "head" is Ralph Wilson
  5. CNY is definitely Bills country when it comes to the NFL but even though SU plays their football games on Saturday there's a much stronger SU following here in Syracuse, down in Binghamton, and east in Utica. And now with SU basketball starting the Bills & NFL will be even more marginalized. I think SU football is getting bigger in CNY while the Bills are getting smaller.
  6. I've still got that 8.5 X 11.5 piece of paper on my refrigerator that says: THE BUFFALO BILLS NEED NEW OWNERSHIP. Reading it, it works wonders on days like today!
  7. I was thinking the same thing. Ralph Wilson Stadium Parking Lot War Zone!
  8. R.I.P. Anonymous 26 year old Buffalo Bills fan.
  9. I'll tell you what I did to help: I wrote on a 8.5 X 11.5 piece of paper THE BUFFALO BILLS NEED NEW OWNERSHIP. I took the piece of paper and hung it on my refrigerator. I did this in mid-September. I read it at a conscious level whenever I intentionally look at it. I read it at a subconscious level whenever my eyes happen to glance at it. It helps - a lot.
  10. ...or maybe even a SU-UB game IN Syracuse with a Bills home game played the next day again IN Syracuse at the Dome. Screw Toronto!
  11. I think that a SU-UB football game IN Buffalo would be an awesome idea! The next day the Bills play a home game. 1/2 of us from Syracuse would be in Buffalo all weekend. Now that would be a party!
  12. I thought Binghamton and Stony Brook had reputable sports teams. No?
  13. Only a new owner(s) will bring new life to this organization. Anything else is just treating a symptom and will fail.
  14. My two favorite football games that I saw this year were last week's Alabama-LSU game and last night's Alabama-Texas A&M game. I just had to say that after today's....loss...I guess.....no idea anymore.
  15. Funny! Question: Say UB gets its act together and starts winning. They put together winning seasons and they're on their way up while the Bills continue to struggle. For those of you in the Buffalo area: do you think a lot of fans will quit the Bills and start following UB?
  16. I live here in Syracuse and the older I get the more I follow college football over the NFL. SU upsets No. 10 Louisville yesterday. CNY was electric. Follow up with last night's No 1. Alabama losing to Texas A&M. I'll tell you one positive thing about UB that the Bills don't have - you don't have to worry about UB ever leaving Buffalo.
  17. Good post but it's Ralph Wilson being AWOL that's the cause of this organizaiton/team problems. Think about it: Where you work - if your company owner was 93 years old and hardly around, what would the attitude of the employees be - expecially over several years time? Everyone would slack off! Even the company President would goof off! The Buffalo Bills need new ownership. New ownership that attends games and is in the locker room after each and every game.
  18. ...we're likely looking at the same situation next season, as well.
  19. If it's Wilson/Nix/Gailey/Fitzpatrick next year we're in big trouble.
  20. I have a minor headache right now. I have minor headaches after every Bills game. We play so poorly but what really hurts is that our opponents mail in their games against us. So we have a lousy Bills team playing opponents who really don't want to play against the Bills. So the game ends up sucking which is hard to watch. Then the headache sets in.
  21. Who is Dan Quayle? Republicans are going to have a FIELD DAY with this. Thanks, Joe - you saved the best for the last!!
  22. "There's never been a day in the last four years when I have been proud to be his Vice President." Joe Biden November 2nd, 2012
  23. It's Simple: Had Obama focused on jobs instead of healthcare insurance in his first two years in office we wouldn't be in this mess. "Truth is, there are no shovel-ready jobs." Obama
