We are the best NFL fanbase!!!
PearlHowardman replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Meaning: The Buffalo Bills can field a lousy team year-after-year and the fans still give their money to One Bills Drive. Suckers? Disclosure: I'm A Syracuse Cynic. I haven't spent one penny on anything related to the Buffalo Bills in over ten years. And I don't anticipate spending any of my money on anything Buffalo Bills related in the near future. -
Where to Watch in NYC?

Buffalo Bills fans here in Syracuse, New York are the most knowledgeable fans of the Buffalo Bills football team. Not bars where to watch them. -
Where to Watch in NYC?
PearlHowardman replied to SageAgainstTheMachine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Q. What do these NYC Buffalo Bills bars do when the season ends? -
Bills fans here in Syracuse are the most knowledgeable Bills fans there are. I think it's because we have SU football to watch so we don't put all of our eggs in the Buffalo Bills basket. Bills fans in Buffalo seem the most gun-shy about supporting the Bills. Bills fans in Rochester seem to think the Bills are always the best team in the NFL. The Bills having a stadium in Batavia, NY is an AWESOME idea! If you see someone here in Syracuse wearing Giants or Jets stuff it's a good chance that they're an SU student from NYC-NJ. I know a lot of people here in Syracuse that travel to Bills home games. I know of no one who travels to NJ to see the Giants or Jets or any other NFL stadiums - they're too far away. Gotta say there's a LOT of Pittsburgh and Minnesota fans here.
-
Well, you should. We Syracuse cynics don't start idiotic apology threads. We Syracuse cynics know that the Patriots HC Bill Belichik likes to beat AFC East teams so don't count on the Patriots "resting their players" for the last game of the season against the Bills - played IN New England. We Syracuse cynics definitely see the Bills improving but there's still a lot of obstacles ahead of this team.
-
And what does the consensus of Syracuse cynics think about the Buffalo Bills? Easy: The Bills are better than the team that showed up to play Pittsburgh two weeks ago and not nearly as good as the team that played the self-destructing Jets two days ago. .500 team. Next season schedule will be difficult. Always listen to the Syracuse cynics when it comes to the Buffalo Bills!

When the Bills field a good team there are no fans of any other NFL teams in Syracuse. 'Cuse fans never travel all the way down to NJ to see a game there. There's invariably lots of Bills fans at Bills home games who drove from Syracuse. It's an easy trip. And when the Bills are getting noticed here in cynical Syracuse you know that they're a good team! And yes, there should be a Buffalo Bills pre-season game held at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Syracuse, New York. The home of Buffalo Bills President/CEO Russ Brandon. Home of Syracuse University, where Buffalo Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone came from. Home of the most cynical but most knowledgeable Buffalo Bills fans alive. Well, people here in Syracuse, New York are starting to take notice of the Buffalo Bills. And I think this is a long term notice. At 4-7, the Buffalo Bills, believe it or not, still have a fairly decent shot of making the NFL playoffs http://www.syracuse....ml#incart_river Bills defense rattles Geno Smith, New York Jets in Buffalo's 37-14 win http://blog.syracuse...ml#incart_river Cynical Syracuse, New York finally paying attention to the Buffalo Bills. This is a very good sign!

Climbing the NFL Power Rankings

What do all these NFL qb's have in common?

Are EJ's stats skewed because he missed so many games? -
Bills receivers can't catch
PearlHowardman replied to SouthernMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I both agree and hate what you said about Belichik & the Patriots. I thought they were headed down but no, they're still the class of the AFC East and likely will be for a few years. -
100% true!

I vote for Tank the season! -
The Bills 2013 season is OVER!
-
This season is effectively OVER! Thanksgiving is in a few weeks and Christmas/New Years after that. April 2014 draft is the next item on the agenda for the Buffalo Bills. Next year the Bills should have a healthy QB EJ Manuel from training camp and into the season.
-
I like EJ and want him to succeed but....
PearlHowardman replied to goynahan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This season is a complete waste for EJ Manuel and the Buffalo Bills. Manuel missed too much pre-season playing time and too much regular-season playing time to develop. It SUCKS but that's the way it is. Next year! -
Injury-prone Bills QB EJ Manuel was rusty today. Very rusty!
-
What other choice is there? The 2013 Buffalo Bills playoffs is not going to happen. Players already know this so they're not going to play hard. Just TANK the rest of the season for a good draft pick and start again in 2014. If EJ Manuel is injury-prone, and I think he is, then this organization ain't going nowhere for a long time.

D Line Is Goin Have A Field Day
PearlHowardman replied to Bryce Paup's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMHO Mario Williams is the smartest Bill on the team. To me he's the barometer as to how the team is going to do. If Mario plays hard I know that he believes the team is a winner. If Mario doesn't play hard I know that he believes the team is not a winner. -
I think you mean next WEEK, not next year!

It really makes no difference at this point. The season is over.
