  1. The Buffalo Bills were cheated out of winning Super Bowl XXV. Cheated by the NFL Watch the video and you will see with your own two eyes. The game official called for a review of McKeller's catch - a catch was was 100% obvious. That review gave the Giants defense a "little breather" as Frank Gifford called. Enough of a "little breather" to keep Scott Norwood out of FG range. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/184748-25-years-ago-today-the-bills-were-robbed-of-sb-xxv/
  2. It's not about Al Edwards. It's about the game official INTENTIONALLY stopping the Buffalo Bills from getting more yards for kicker Scott Norwood's game winning field goal. The NFL prevented the Buffalo Bills from winning Super Bowl XXV. Look at the video - anyone can see it. "little breather"
  3. And how do you feel now after seeing how the official intentionally prevented the Buffalo Bills from getting kicker Scott Norwood into better FG range by calling for a review of an OBVIOUS catch? Without the official giving the Giants the gift of a "little breather" the Bills should have won Super Bowl XXV.
  4. The game official prevented that from happening. 1. McKeller's catch was was 100% obvious. 2. The official waits until the Bills pass offense is facing the disorganized Giants pass defense and then calls for a review? 3. The Bills pass offense had all the receivers INCLUDING Thurman Thomas lined up on the far side of the field ready to go out of bound when the ball was caught. 4. Then the Bills could have run Thurman for even more yards. 5. Norwood would have been in his FG range. 6. "little breather" for the Giants? WTF? The look on Jim Kelly's face in response to the official calling for a play review is telling He's in complete disbelief. I watched the the whole game tape and Kelly had a similar expression one other time. That was when the Bills offense first got the ball in the second half. Kelly threw to a Bills receiver but the Bills receiver was interfered with - it was an obvious PI against the Giants. But the official called a holding on a Bills receiver. They never showed the Bills penalty and Jim Kelly had a WTF expression on his face. It was like the play it was just swept under the rug. It was a 3rd down play so the Bills had to punt. The NFL screwed the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV. No doubt.
  5. Keith McKeller caught the ball with 40 seconds left on the clock. The video shows it was a clear catch - no reason whatsoever for a review. But the clock didn't stop until there was 29 seconds left on the clock. Why did the official wait so long to call for the review? Why did the official let so much time off the clock for the review of an obvious catch? Buffalo Bills fans shouldn't remember "wide right" with regards to Super Bowl XXV. Buffalo Bills fans should remember "little breather" with regards to Super Bowl XXV.
  6. Buffalo was denied one offense play. Moreover, the reason why Frank Gifford said that the Giants were given a "little breather" was because before the whistle was called to review the obvious catch the Bills were lined up for a pass play and the Giants pass defense was in disarray. Watch the video, it's all right there. One more Buffalo Bills play on offense would have gotten Scott Norwood into much better FG range. Watch the video, it's all right there. Disclosure: This is not the first time that I have mentioned this topic on this board. This is the first time that I started a subject on it, though. I noticed this years ago when watching Super Bowl XXV videos.
  7. The official had NO REASON to review an obvious catch by McKeller. None! Other than to give the Giants pass rush a "little breather". Review the video. The proof is right there.
  8. When the play resumed you can hear game television analyst Frank Gifford say "That (review) did give the Giants pass rush a little breather." And that "little breather" is all the Giants needed to win the game. The official had NO REASON to stop the game and review an obvious catch. The Buffalo Bills were SCREWED out of winning Super Bowl XXV. The video proves it!!
  9. Why did the official call for a review of McKeller's catch? It was an obvious catch. Conspiracy? Yes.
  10. Score 20 -19 Giants leading. :40 time left in the game. Buffalo Bills QB Jim Kelly passes the ball to Buffalo Bills tight end Keith McKeller. McKeller catches the ball at the Giants 40 yard line. The pass is a obvious completion but 10 seconds after McKelller caught the ball the official on the field calls for a review to see if it was a completed pass. You can see in the Youtube video above that the ball was no closer than three inches from the ground. So, why did the official call for a review? Stopping the game. Just before the official called for the review of McKeller's obvious catch the Buffalo Bills are lined up in a pass situation, with the receivers to the outside. The Giants pass defense was not ready for the play. When the play resumed you can hear game television analyst Frank Gifford say "That (review) did give the Giants pass rush a little breather." And because the Giants pass rush was given the gift of a "little breather" when the Bills lined up again they had a run play to Thurman Thomas who picked up 10 yards but still not in Buffalo Bills kicker Scott Norwood's range. Analysis: Had the official not called for a review of McKeller's obvious catch, the Bills would have easily gotten off a pass play against the Giants unprepared pass defense. The Bills receivers were lined up to the outside, ready to go out of bounds stopping the clock when (if) the ball was caught. Then the Bills either could have had Thurman Thomas run the ball or tried for pass again. Then the ball would have been well within the FG range for kicker Scott Norwood. Then spike the ball to bring on Norwood. The Scott Norwood field goal is good. Final score: Buffalo Bills - 22 New York Giants - 20 Buffalo Bills - Super Bowl XXV Champions!
  11. Wrecks Ryan will lead the Buffalo Bills into further disaster. If that's even possible.
  12. Buffalo Bills fans aren't stupid. Wrecks Ryan will lead this team nowhere. Period.
  13. Sorry, I can't look past the incompetent dolt of a head coach that the Buffalo Bills have. Wrecks Ryan will lead the Buffalo Bills nowhere.
  14. The Buffalo Bills need a new head coach. Rex Ryan is a dinosaur/relic/has-been with a WWE mentality.
  15. Valid points. But the Buffalo Bills' problems over the years is bad head coaches.
  16. Can't think of one.
  17. We don't drink the kool-aide here in Syracuse. I guess people in Buffalo and Rochester do, though. The Pegulas should have done anything to keep Doug Marrone in Buffalo. The Bills had positive momentum under Marrone. Rex Ryan was a loud mouth blowhard long before he got to Buffalo. And the Buffalo Sabres record is horrible.
  18. Rex Ryan must go but you really have to question the Pegulas for hiring him. There's no excuse for what they did. Or are they just in it for the money that they make off of desperate Buffalo Bills fans?
  19. You mentioned Tyrod Taylor's shortcomings twice.
  20. ...I don't see the playoffs next year, either. Or even the year after that.
  21. I live in Syracuse, and did some business travel to NYC twice last season. When I told people down there that I was a Buffalo Bills fan I had a lot of positive feedback about the Buffalo Bills being the only NFL team from New York State. I was shocked at how much resentment there is in NYC for the Giants and Jets playing in New Jersey. If the Buffalo Bills marketed the team as the "Buffalo, New York Bills" in the New York City area I have no doubt that they could be big down there. Seriously!
  22. Is he back next year?
  23. No. I pay attention to the local media. Here in Syracuse, we have Matthew Fairburn and Brent Axe. Two very good Buffalo Bills reporters. Maybe even the best two!
