A few Republican friends of mine are excited at the prospect of a President Mike Pence and Vice-President Nikki Haley. The way they see it, Trump resigns on a Friday at about 4:15 PM - just after the financial markets close. Then Mike Pence is sworn as President. By Sunday (two days later) President Mike Pence has almost all of his cabinet selected and set for confirmation. Then the "I Like Mike" campaign starts. Democrats have the worst luck.
