  1. If we could trade down and take Davis, I wouln't be upset at all. I don't take him at 8, so I may risk losing out, but oh well. I'm hell bent on OT, DE, or DT.
  2. Kiwi or Hali. When you have a chance at a pass rusher, you take em'.
  3. I'm on board with cutting Holcomb loose. Aaron Brooks would be cool, and I'd love it if somehow Daunte Culpepper was released from the Vikings. Vince Young with seasoning but stronger! It won't happen anyways so don't bother flaming me. If we are going to have a QB controversy, bring in a real QB. Holcomb sucks.
  4. On the same boat crackur. Brick or DE, DT.
  5. We do NOT have really good DE's billsboy and don't be surprisd if the DE we end up with is Tamba Hali. He gives 100% every play and while his natural pass rush skills are not as good as Kiwi's, he's a better all around end. Tanba Hali is my wild card since the Brick and Super Mario will probably be gone.......
  6. I like him too Malta, didn't know he was a free agent. Hopefully the Chargers don't have the coin......
  7. As long as Sam's voice could handle it, this would work well I think. Hopefully we'll know by Friday.
  8. Fonuti is on the Chargers but I'd like him a lot. I don't understand the Backus talk at all. Gandy is better also.
  9. I like your approach Scribo, been thinking very similar myself. I'd like to know more about Seattle's cap myself. If not Hutchinson I'm thinking Bently may want out of NO. He could also play guard too. He made the Pro Bowl there as a rookie, I think, or at least got strong consideration.
  10. What is Seattle's cap like Bill? I'd love Hutchinson, but ya gotta figure Bently may want out. I'd kill for either one..........
  11. Ferguson or Mario Williams. I'd probably flip a coin.
  12. Backus sucks. Fix the interior if at all possible. I'm fine with Peters at LT and Williams back at right as long as he takes the maximum paycut possible.
  13. That R. Rich guy, he's pretty smart. I too fix DT in free agency if possible because you don't pass up the chance to get either a top LT or DE, which we seem almost certain to land if we stay pat. The better heat we get from the front 4, the less we have to blitz. That would be nice.
  14. Right on Bill. The reason I wouldn't mind DE being the pick is I have high hopes for Peters and hope at least 1 top flight OL is signed in free agency. We have a 2nd and 2 3rds and pray 2 of these are spent on OL in the draft.
  15. He'd definitly be a possibility but how can you pass on a high motor, BLACK DE? I can't wait to be here on draft day........
  16. Sucks for #31, I was very impressed by him. This is the first I've seen from Hali, and I love how hard he plays. I like Kiwi too but Tamba may be better vs. the run. I wouldn't mind either one.
  17. Schobel is a solid player. Nothing more, nothing less. I would love to somehow land one of the top 2 ends in the draft to play on the left side. He can't do it by himself(who can) but he is a player who could form a nice tandem with someone with natural pass rushing ability on the other side. Put me down onthe Mario or MK bandwagon by the way.....
  18. It's early, but still hard to resist. Here's mine. Franchise Clements, extend Moulds, make Williams take maximum paycut possible or see ya. I target Huchinson or Bentley in free agency as my top priorities( must get one of em') and the best LOLB to replace Posey. I'm not gonna get into filling out the depth chart just yet with remaining free agents. Draft: (somewhere around the 10th pick?) Round 1: Ngata, the Boston College DE(forgot how to spell it), and Eric Winston are my targets. Round 2. DT Watson, G Max Gean Giles, or if a highly rated corner or safety fall are my choices. For the 3rd round picks, for now until I study up more let's just say I'm looking at interior linemen on either side of the ball........day 2 after the Bowl..........
  19. My thinking is this: If Bush or Williams is there at our pick, you take whoever is there. If not, I try and trade down.....and probably pray I can still land the Oregon DT.
  20. I'm not completly down on Anderson, only he may be the odd man out if we go for long term potential. I wouldn't mind him staying in with Preston relieving Teague and Gandy with Anderson.
  21. It would be great Bill! The perfect time actually. Too bad we know it won't happen though. I'd probably leave Teague at center fpr now though, and maybe rotate Preston in with Gandy.
  22. Sure, mistakes will be made, but this would solve a lot of uncertainty going into next year. Sorry, I'll talk needs and next year all I want. If this line- up shows promise, DT will be the obvious top need going into next year.
  23. I read 4.7 UConn James. But like I said, I don't know much about the guy. I usually won't comment unless I've seen at least a couple games on someone. Didn't see any Mich. this year.
  24. Some people do watch college football too. There is no way of knowing how serious an injury may be either. Some people do know the game pretty well who are "just a fan".
  25. Good post Albany. It doesn't take a GM or scout to be able to see Munoz or Wilkerson could help this team now or the near future. Unfortunately, only the GM's have access to the injury files. Some people here would probably do a decent job if they had the same information. NOTE: I said SOME.
