  1. Who was it last year VA, Holcomb?
  2. I agree Pyrate. Sure he had his disagreements with the coaching staff, but those guys were blockheads. Can you blame him? Good luck Sam.
  3. This just in: SOPRANO3695 is a jerkoff. From deep within WHERE is the real question...............
  4. Guys with a weapons charge can play on my defense any day. If it was a DUI, well, hit em' with the bottle. Unless they are a total ass like TO, stuff like this doesn't bother me. Every team has guys who have baggage like this, Buffalo just does a damn good job of covering this kind of thing up. Just give me some guys who want to kick some ass on D and I'm happy.
  5. Not at all but I like Williams if we can only get one of em'.
  6. I flipped a coin between Ngata and Davis. Davis won. It's that close for me. I don't believe Huff or Justice are top 10 worthy. Even top 15 would be stretching it for these two.......... Now Hawke, that is a nice wild card VABills...........
  7. I like that signing. I'll second it. A good, somewhat under the radar free agent. Better than Posey as well!
  8. Everett is no where close a prospect as Davis. If he didn't blow out his knee we would all have a better idea how weak or strong the position was. This pick would almost guarantee a killer TE corps. If the lines are at least moderatly improved in free agency, I'm behind the pick 110%.
  9. Love the Anderson option. Shaud does suck!
  10. Love your most desired top 5 34-78-83! Here's my top 6: 1. Williams, 2. Ferguson, 3. Hgata, 4. Davis, 5.Hali, 6. Huff. 5 and 6 I only want in a trade down though..........
  11. I'd like to get Thomas back. But no, Greer won't be good. King might be. Greer hasn't shown enough work ethic. If we bring Thomas back, I'd be fine with our corner situation as is.
  12. Probably right R. Rich. I sure wouldn't mind bringing in a better 3rd corner somehow this offseason though. He'd still be better than who we currently have and wouldn't be a starter. Plus, he'd probably come cheap. Hey, the often injured Ahmad Plumber was released by the 9ers. Might not fit the cover two either though. More of a man coverage type and maybe too slow as well.
  13. Would be a solid nickle guy. Yeah, yeah, boo hoo, another Pats castoff. Well, he hurt his shoulder as was placed on IR in November. He can still run, and would give us another vereran instead of a younger guy totally cluless back there. He's 31 so still could play a few more years at a good level. He'd be a lower cost signing that could payoff nicely...........
  14. If Ngata's gone try and trade down and select Tamba Hali, Vernon Davis, or Winston Justice. I wouldn't mind Huff, but ONLY in a trade down.
  15. Bentley!!!!!!! I just don't know if Shaffer would do so well in another system Malta. If it happens, I'll trust the move. For now, I'm leary.............. I also like as other targets Pickett, Kimoeatu as DT's, Fonoti at G, Tank Williams at SS, and Matt Schobel at TE for extra insurance at the position. Also, looks as if Moulds is gone so throw in Givens and Bryant at WR as well.
  16. I hear that Rico. I voted for Moss by the way. Despite his size, Moss would be an outstanding pick at that spot. I like tap too, but Moss will be a game changer.
  17. I'd be down with that Ramius. By the way, Archuletta IS NOT Coy Wire. Wire is one of a kind and that kind SUCKS! He's not Ed Reed in coverage, but he's not bad and can play the run and lay the wood. As for Hope, I think he's a good, solid up and comer.
  18. Totally agree Stl Bills. To say Peters got tossed around on running plays is just way off. Peters should have been playing Oline since college. The converted TE stuff is bogus. Yeah, a 328 lb. TE. I don't think so. As for Williams, he was our best run blocker over ANYBODY on the roster, and not as bad in pass pro as some aroundhere made him out to be. In the end, his cap hit was just way too f@#W@$ much. Well, time to change my signiture................
  19. Sorry, I see Duke as a career backup at best. The Duke makes me puke. He's big but way too weak. Didn't understand the pick then and don't understand the Preston optimism now.
  20. Looks like Shaffer then. I don't think anyone else is out there. I don't care as long as two proven free agents are brought in. I'll settle for one if it's Bentley. If not, look out Marv!
  21. True, Peters has started 8 NFL games. In those 8 games though, he has shown to be very solid in pass protection. The reason many are calling for the switch is his abilities match up well with what the LT position demands. I could care less if he used to play TE, he looks like a pretty good fit as a LT at a great salary at that position to boot. Like BillFromNYC talked about in another thread, we could attack other areas with this position potentially taken care of.
  22. Thank God! He totally isn't worth a large contract he would demand just because he plays LT. Besides, I think we have someone on the roster now who will end up being way better, and for now, save us a ton of cash vs. production at that position. We need to move Peters to LT.
  23. Thanks Malta. Knew it was Thursday but didn't know if there was an exact time.
  24. If we switch Peters to LT and release Williams, I wouldn't mind bringing in Fabini to play RT. He's pretty good there.
  25. If fear of his shoulder drives his price down a little and we still get help on the Oline, why the hell not?
