  1. Also, having a line that can play will give our younger skill position players a better chance to develope. That is invaluable after the lineplay we've been experiencing. Didn't think about it that way did ya. Don't worry, Preston can lift some serious assed weights the next year or TWO, and we'll probably draft a guard and maybe a tackle this year or next.
  2. In 2007 our draftees from this year will be ready. If not, I think these guys got more than just one season in em'. Plus, there should be another free agency period next year as well, but I'll have to check on that.
  3. Maybe not a bust(yet) but he has a lot of strength to gain to be adequate.
  4. Fact: IF we wanted to trade Nate Clements, It would be for a 1st round pick. I don't know where, but it would be in that round, and only ONE first round pick. Everbody got that?
  5. You see, I was really wishing we could get Bentley, but holy s#@*!!! What a contract!!! Now, since I haven't committed suicide, I'm ready to move on. I like Tripplett, as for Royal with Cheese, whatever. Someone please riddle me this: Has John Runyon been released? Do I need to update my signature further? I know people will say it's an old line, but I think it will give our draft picks a little longer to develope and not be thrown into the fire.
  6. He's probably better than Ron Edwards. Now we need someone better than Sam Adams.
  7. I think both could be fine next to another solid guy. I'd change that contract to 5years, same amont of money. With Bernard, we'd need a big run stuffer next to him, but Pickett could probably play either role but more of the run stopper guy. Bernard and Maake Kemo from Baltimore would be a terrific tamdem, but would cost a sh$*load, and could hold back Oline help.
  8. Because rtconner Runyon is a mean mofo who would give us great run blocking, good enough pass pro, and veteran LEADERSHIP to show these young guys how to aproach the damn game.
  9. Obviously I'm on the Joseph bandwagon by my signiture. I'd like a big but no too oversized Olineman. The supersized experiment has failed. Give me a guy who can play a a quality level for 4 quarters.
  10. I definitley want a guard in the 2nd or 3rd round in this draft.
  11. How was it? They took away my NFL Network.
  12. Very nice mock. I'm all for it.
  13. Agreed. I'd love to draft Davin Joseph, Gean-Giles, or Spencer to man the LG spot right away or in the VERY near future. I have no problem with selecting any one of them with our 2nd round pick. Go Bills!!!!!!!
  14. Maybe that drat pick could start for Villarial or Gandy Rico. But right on StlBills, it would be nice to not have to throw anybody right into the fire. Preston is definitley not ready in my book as well. We have so many needs, if this happens, I think we could wait on a RT of the future maybe one more year. I'm totally on the Peters as LT of the future right now.
  15. Oh I agree in the trade down scenario, but no way at 8.
  16. If what you are saying is Peters, Gandy, Mawae, Villarial, and Runyon, then yes, I would be very happy as long as at least one promising guard is taken in the 2nd or 3rd round. I like Peters at LT way better thab Shaffer and any other draft pick besides the Brick, who I think he can be almost as good as because of his athletisism, which is why people are all over the Brick.
  17. Definitley was never on board with this suggestion.
  18. I agree Malta. If one of the free agency scenario's happen that you mention( 2 Oline, 1 DT) I'm on board with Huff depending on how the top 7 shakes down.
  19. Definitley my darkhorse at center. I DO NOT want Preston starting for this team at least for this year.
  20. Bentley. But it doesn't matter what you guys want. I never foget that ICE statement. F*%&n classic! I'm weary of Bernard, he will get more than he is worth because of the sack numbers, which don't always tell the whole story. As for the big guy theory, you still need to run and STOP the run in this league, and stopping run with numbers just doesn't fly. MOST of the time, you need at least one big body in there to stop the run. I'd rather go for Kemo from Baltimore.
  21. It won't be the Jets or Titans, I'd only worry about the Aints.
  22. I like bill-fans choices, and I'll add Leber(upgrade to Posey), Bennett(a true change of pace in that he has true breakaway speed), and Matt Schobel(an Everitt, Euhus, and Shobel TE corps would just make me feel a lot better about the position as a whole).
