Agreed. He has one injury plagued year and all of a sudden he sucks and is over the hill. Jets fans are stupid so don't go by what they are saying. IF HEALTY, Fabini would be a servicable player for a good 3-4 years. People screaming he sucks because he was injured need to get slapped upside the head. I prefer Runyon anyways but also agree we need to get somebody just entering their prime like Neal.

Also, quite correct Bill, Fabini was solid at LT, but he is better at RT and that would be the correct decision to have him play here.

Fabini was way better at RT for the Jets. If he signs, I bet anyone that is where he plays here. Yeah, you heard right VABills, Peters will play LT, and oh yes, he CAN play LT.

I wonder if he was going to visit the Giants next. I like him better than Bernard because he plays the run better and will probably be a little cheaper because of Bernards inflated sack numbers. We got our up the field guy, now get Pickett. Get er' done Marv. I think the whole sheduling conflict thing was Pickett going to visit the Giants, but couldn't find anything on it. We shall see, but I'm hoping for Pickett.

Yes he has. He practiced there all last offseason and into the regular season before taking over at RT. Looked very good there in the preseason. Yeah, I know, it's the preseason, but he got the start there vs. Green Bay and did very well against KGB.

Yes but the one weakness those teams have had is they can get run on by a good power running team like Pittsburg because they were missing that big mammerjammer. I agree on Pickett though, not totally huge but HE IS a good tackling defensive lineman.

I'm all for a Jeff Faine trade, but Cleveland will want to keep him at guard. They have invested a 1st round pick in him, so he probably stays.

Also, I think Bentley got 6 years 36 million VA Bills. I haven't heard what Shaffer got but I'm sure it was probably disgusting. Maybe it was the same contract? I'm gonna go look around on this........

Peters is gonna be the LT and you're gonna love it. But seriously, Peters is probably gonna be better than Shaffer and Shelton, and he practiced on the left side all last offseason and into the season until taking over for Williams at RT, so it's not like LT is a completley foreign position for him. Hopefully, we sign him long-term before he gets to good because right now he's watching guys like Kevin friggen' Shaffer getting a boatload of money and he's saying to himself, "this left tackle stuff is pretty cool". Get it done Marv.
