  1. Supposedly Wed. will be an injury update. Unless TD was still here. Then it would be top secret.
  2. I'll say I'd like the left side upgraded but by the time that happens we will need a RG too, cuz Villarial we be retired. I know it's coulda shoulda, but I thought we should have signed Neil from the Pats and planned for the future. One way or the other, I hope we somehow address this next offseason.
  3. I'm not taking up for Gandy(I like many would love an upgrade here) but also remember Richard Seymore is arguably the best defensive lineman in the game.
  4. Brady gave the refs a reach around last night.
  5. Refs as usual. Illegal block on Royal?!?!?!?!
  6. I definitley don't get the Patriots are weak at LB theory either. The WR's are not to bad either. Troy Brown is a crafty vet, Caldwell isn't too bad either. The TE's make up for this. Chad Jackson won't play so this does give us the upper hand for now.
  7. They just didn't get caught as much Fez. Hey, character is important to me, but I'm a realist too. There are some bad apples out there, and sometimes they don't spoil the whole bunch. Every team has at least a few, and sometimes they are playing critical positions. It sucks but that's how it is now.
  8. I'd love to see our lines blow em' off the ball too. Unfortunately, we are still inferior in these areas. We have improved though, but a little more is needed.
  9. A f***n men! I think we are all sick of Monkey-boy. I hope we run all over his Monkey-ass tommorrow! Shelton better show why he is still on the roster and destoy him on some runs as well.
  10. If we show that and still lose, I won't be angry. I expect us to give em' some problems, but we are young and think we make one mistake too many. Hope I am wrong.
  11. Listen, don't even get us started on Perry Tuttle. Well Bill, we gotta hope that Peters developes into an outstanding LT because I think Joe Thomas of Wisconcin is the premeir tackle of this draft and he is more of a RT prospect. I'm leaning more towards an impact pass rusher anyways and then a guard or RT(if Peters is moved) with the next pick. It's to early to know who will be free agents at these positions because the new $ from the cap going up is allowing teams to sign guys to extensions already. We need to work on some guys right now too(Fletcher and Clements).
  12. He wasn't worth that after the first few years, but he supposedly played outstanding last year. I didn't see him at all last season but unless he developed into the player most of us thought he would, NO, he ain't worth that much.
  13. Hey, most of us thought he was on the right track for a while there. I just could never stand the poker player posts even when it seemed he was doing a good job. Here's to better days ahead.
  14. I could care less about character if it doesn't affect the player from performing on the field. Yeah, Bruce Smith, Thurman and Kelly were outstanding citizens.
  15. I'll never forget all the "I wouldn't wanna play poker with TD" posts. I admit he did some OK things but people were getting moronic about it. To feed myself some crow, I'll admit I leaned a little more towards Williams over McKinney(I wanted either or was prepared to pick off TD from the stands), but man, would McKinney look quite a bit better than our current LT, although Gandy has outlived my expectations. Here's to you TD, kissing my *** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Actually this is exactly what I have been saying. This team won't get enough pressure without blitzing. Top pass rusher with the next few picks young and promising Olinemen on my 07 draft wishlist. Hopefully our supposed disrupting DTs develope very quickly.
  17. Every team rotates Dlinemen. This is not some new concept this year. We did it last year just like every other team. It comes down to talent which we have some to work with and develope, but we could definitley use more. Like I said, I'd like another tackle and an impact end. We aren't horrible, but this unit is the weak link on the defense.
  18. I may be in the minority but I believe we have a ways to go on the Dline. We need a DT who can stop the run(we really don't right now) and we could use a top pass rusher to add to the DE corps. We still cannot apply much pressure without blitzing, and that's the reality of it. This unit will hold the D back this year. Sorry.
  19. How about keeping Coy "f****N Wire off the field. It would be a start. Oh no, the horse ain't dead yet! We must continue to beat it! Coming in second and 3rd are 3rd down conversions on both sides of the ball and of cousre the turnover battle.
  20. I too hope for a top Olineman to be brought in next year Bill. Only if a devestating pass-rusher is there "and taken" will I be put at ease. All in all, I'd like to get younger at RG, better at LG, and will always keep dreaming of that bookend LT who actually pans out. Who knows, we may have a RT who could become a top 10 LT very soon and make the continued improvement of the line just a little easier.
  21. Freddie Smith wasn't very good at all. Could care less about this cut.
  22. News flash: Freddie Smith isn't even very fast. We made the right move. He's not very intelligent either so I doubt he can tell Belichek much of anything. This whole thing is silly.
  23. I'd love to pick up Tuniu Fonoti. He would be an upgrade at either guard spot. I bet he has an injury issue....... I like Beasly and Luchey at FB as well. Some other names who intrigue me are Freeman and Peterson at DT, and I suppose Chares Rogers, but he sound so much like a sissy.
  24. I don't get any of the Gates love. Gates only has done OK against 2nd and 3rd teamers, Thomas has has 1,000+ yrds as a starter in the "regular season". Still wish him well though.
  25. Brady Quinn=RJ. Seriously though, I think we may just be alright at the position. For all we know Quinn may look like Alex Smith.
