  1. I told ya'll so!!!!! Hopefully this isn't long term because our run blocking and even our pass protection just took a pretty good hit. Look, I'd like a youth movement at RG just like most here but I'll say it again just like I did right when he was drafted: THE DUKE MAKES ME WANNA PUKE!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than that GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Or go on a shooting spree..........
  3. The only way I don't draft a DE or Olineman is IF Johnson was there. He is a can't pass type of pick no matter what your needs are. For the record though my top needs are DE, LT, RG and yes, another DT.
  4. I think it's about time we see some serious production from our two UNDERutilized TE's today. I'd at least like to see us try to pass it to them inside the 20. Now first and foremost I want to run the ball if possible, but if the situation presents itself.....
  5. Jay Rosen said it earlier in this thread. I never heard anything official so hopefully that is not the case. But if you do hear that "official quote" you can bet your life he is gone.
  6. John I think we can win also but I disagree about getting to Johnson better than Pennington. McKinney, Hutchinson, Birk, the right side is where we need to have success, and then Kleinsasser as an extra blocker, it will be tough. Denny and Kelsay need to have big games.......
  7. The "we don't negotiate during the season" quote means a player won't be back. It is total BS. Do the right thing Marv and extend Fletcher for 3 years.
  8. Except for the bootleg call at the goalline I have had no problem with the playcalling. Barring any injuries, this offense will keep getting better. Also while not great. the Oline has been better than any of us expected, at least in run blocking.
  9. I just think Preston doesn't have the strength to be anything more than a center. He isn't strong enough to move his man one on one in the running game at guard. I wish they would have kept him at center full-time as well, but he is a backup, and backups need to be able to know multiple positions. As I've stated before, I would of liked to have signed Stephen Neil, but oh well. Fowler isn't very strong either, but he makes up for it with unusual athletic ability for a man his size. Maybe Preston could eventually make a push for his position, but I don't want to see Preston as a starting guard.
  10. Oh well, we probably wouldn't sign him anyways. I'd love to get a good, young up and comer at RG and sorry to say it, Duke Preston ain't that guy.
  11. I'd still like Tunui Fonoti brought in to play RG. He must be severly injured. You know anything about this R. Rich?
  12. I will absolutley cheer him. One of my recent favorates. Imagine our D if he was in the rotation right now? Don't give me any of that he wouldn't fit the scheme crap either. It comes down to players more than schemes in the end and Pat would look way better than Tim "the stiff" Anderson at that spot. Go Bills and Go Pat!
  13. Holcomb in that wind? Will you please come get me high too?
  14. He made me mad today but you know what, you really nailed it. I HATE Mangini too. JP's accuracy has improved quite a bit but his awareness has a ways to go. Throw some blame on Willis' pathetic blitz pick-ups too.
  15. there, I feel better now.
  16. I know JP didn't call the bootleg, I'm talkin about lookin for a blitzing CB out of the 3-4 defense. That never happens.
  17. Glad ya liked it.
  18. Oh yeah, I've seen the 3-4 for two weeks now. Guess what a**hole, there are a lot of CB blitzes from that formation.
  19. and sorry, JP had his head up his ass today. WTF, ram it home at the f***n goalline. I hate that sh-- more than anything.
  20. We also just signed him to an extension too. Now if we could just get Joe Thomas in this upcoming draft ans a good young guard, we'd be set for a long time.
  21. week. On top of that, he wants to be here and has a few years left of high level play. I hope we don't take the Indianapolis approach and not resign LBers. Sure, I have suggested taking a LB somewhat high in the draft, but that is because you never know. Although Ellison has shocked us all so far, I don't thing we have anything except a bunch of good specialteamers as our backups. I'm not criticizing anything here, just stating something that has been on my mind.
  22. Jauron coached the Bears to a 13 and 3 record with Shane Matthews at QB, Anthony Thomas at RB and Aaron Gibson at RT. Not a flashy coach, be usually a good gameplanner.
  23. Pennington is the kind of QB that can take advantage of our inexperience on D. We need to lay the smackdown on his noodle-armed ass. Giving Spikes the Dolphins game off to heal will hopefully have him ready for this one, although I think Ellison has surprised all of us. Go Bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
