  1. What ans6e64 said. Not that we'll show him the money or Clements too for that matter.
  2. Wouldn't be a fan of the pick at all. I' wouldn't mind Levi Brown in a trade down or Brown the RB in the 2nd. I'd like Branch or Okoye at DT!!!!
  3. In reply to #5, we could actually show one of the top 2 guards the money( Steinbach and Davis) and not worry about it. Even a guy like Deilman may not pan out here so just get a guy who will fix the damn problem for sure. Steinbach at LG or Davis at RG. MAKE ONE OF EM' HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I was never aware of him being considered a genious or especially the next Lombardi???? He had great players on D in Baltimore and I have NEVER understood any facination with him.
  5. I like it, and like you getting younger at the FB position which gets forgotten about easily. Your guy seems to fit what we need instead of wasting a high pick on Brian Leanard, who won't do squat in the NFL like he did in college. They're ALL big and fast up here Brian. I prefer Branch or Okoye at DT, but Tyler could be OK.
  6. I think Spikes could turn out to be that bigger MLB. As for what free agents we target, probably nobody on this board wants.
  7. Levi Brown absolutely will be there Simon, and why not start him at RG?
  8. Tedd Ginn Jr. has Bucky Brooks written all over him. I only take Jarrett at WR if he falls, but I'm content with our recieving core. Strenghten the middle of the lines and everything will be alright.
  9. I forgot Gurode is injury prone, we already need to cut our own injury prone G Villarial. Deilman is definitely not top teir but way better than Preston. I hope if we really try and improve the line we just do whatever it takes to get Steinbach or Davis.
  10. I really appreciate that info. I think we could definitely land Deilman or Gurode for sure with that type of cash. Gurode would give us great flexibility (C or G) so I'm kind leaning toward him. It will be a vicious bidding war for Steinbach and Davis which is why it's called a "dream offseason"!!!! What was the deal in Total yrs. and total cash( 5yrs/25M )???
  11. Guard or DT unless a Jarett (WR) or Peterson (RB) fall to our pick. Maybe add Patrick Willis (MLB) cause Fletcher is probably gone.
  12. Thanks Jokeman. I guess in order my choices would be Steinbach, Davis, Deilman, Gurode, and maybe Dockery. I'd pass on the rest. I'd be very happy with one of the first 4, PLEASE GET IT DONE MARV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. He already got a Mega #2 pick in the draft deal already so maybe he won't command a Hutchinson type deal. He would be an enourmous upgrade at RG so I'd throw some serious cash if it took that for him to come here.
  14. I never expected big hits or great run support from a safety who is barely 5'11 and 205 lbs. He was drafted to be a versitile match up type guy for the cover 2 D we were going to run. He has been solid, but he is still kinda short to be a true match-up on TE type. I preferred Ngata, but I still like the pick.
  15. Okoye wouldn't be a bad pick at all.............it may take him a little time cause he is so young, but he could turn out to be great.
  16. I forgot to add I think Leonard Davis would fit in awesome at GUARD, so I'll throw him in there too. I was him playing tackle that Arizona had a problem with him, and you don't draft a guard with the 2nd pick in the draft. Well, we didn't draft him so let's sign him to play guard and actually push people back, which a guard is supposed to be able to do, you got that Preston? Work hard and try and battle Fowler at center Duke, cause you stink at guard.
  17. I believe Manuwie of the Faguars has re-upped, so besides Steinbach, who's left? Deilman, Gurode? Anyone worth a crap? I think Gurode can play both center and guard, so I like the possibilities he would bring. We gotta get tougher in the middle folks, who else could help us?????????
  18. I support Willis and think an improved Oline is just what the doctor ordered, but if Adrien Peterson is sitting there when we pick, I'm all over it like flies on s**t. Unless that scenario plays out, I go another direction and tell Willis to play out his contract and like it. I want the lines improved like always but there are manys ways we can go with the first pick depending on who we keep and who we go out and get in free agency. I'm an Oline guy but if the #1 DT is there I think thats where we should probably go.
  19. Pulusny's overrated. I'd take him in the 2nd though.
  20. Actually Fowler is a great athlete, but doesn't have great strength. Elite centers are VERY hard to find, and I can live with Fowler if we get better at the guard positions. Check out my signature PISSCHUNK, it could unfold just how you hope for.
  21. Chris Snee and Kareem McKenzie are above average to very solid. Don't know who else is on that line though.
  22. We HAVE to upgrade one of the guard positions if not both. I pray we still view the Oline as a high priority.
  23. I'd like to see Spikes moved to the middle, and focus on DT in free agency or the draft. We could always go after Lance Briggs if we decide to move Spikes to the middle if we think Crowell or Eliison can't cut it on the outsides.
  24. I think he would be a great MLB, and a taller one than Fletcher too!!!
  25. Would be great if Patrick Willis became our new MLB. Sure, it would take a little bit to get comfortable, but wouldn't it be cool going from a 5'9 guy to someone about 6'3? Pass coverage ( how many times have we seen London have good coverage but be too short to stop the pass) will be better. Fletcher was one of my favorates but he has his weaknesses. Anyways, we need to shore up the DT position or it won't matter who is playing MLB for us next year.
