  1. Levi Brown would play RT, possibly after getting his feet wet at guard.
  2. Right on bflodan. We may have covered up our right side the best we could, so teams may really be ready to throw the kitchen sink at that side this year. I have stated my top 3 realistic (sorta) favorate choices as Okoye, Jamal Anderson, and Gains Adams. Throw in Levi Brown as my runner up.
  3. I hope we sign one of our top 3 priorities before March. Probably Kelsay even though I'd love it if Jamal Anderson or Gaines Adams fell to us which is wishful thinking........
  4. I wouldn't mind the pick of Levi Brown at all. Let's be honest with ourselves, do we really KNOW Terrence Pennington is the answer? He got a lot of help at first, but seemed to settle in OK after a few games. He and Preston may have just been all we had so I wouldn't be against the possibility of two bookend tackles. When was the last time that happened!?!?!?!?!
  5. I'm hoping that too bflodan. Hopefully we do sign a DT, G, and CB before the draft. I don't want to be forced into a pick.
  6. This sucks. What's worse is I don't believe there is a CB in this draft that is even top 20 material. Build the friggen front 7 first!!!!
  7. 1st: Okoye, Gaines Adams or Jamal Anderson
  8. Didn't see Cold Pizza or know he was a free agent. Now that I know I would LOVE to have him. He is a young and very good FB with rare recieving skills for the position. I don't see Baltimore letting him go without a fight..........
  9. Except that guy is Daniel Graham. Fits the late year weather conditions way better than Johnson. Graham is a way better blocker, just as good a reciever (oh, it's true), and we'd have the ability to run to the outside to the left or right with Royal and Graham, especially late in the year. Johnson just doesn't scream Buffalo Bill to me. Graham would be our #1 with Royal probably having a big year with teams focusing more on Graham.
  10. It is tough to believe he would completely buy into a scheme. He never has...........
  11. People never seem to realize that players can add weight, especially DT's. Also, although rare, there have been guys around 295-305 who have been quality run-stuffers. I believe Okoye could be one of them and also think McCargo could bulk up to the 320-325 range if needed. I just want to add a good to great DT man!
  12. Actually Arrington could probably do very well in the cover 2. He's athletic and a great hitter. Probably won't happen though.
  13. There were rumblings before he was drafted about that possibly happening. I wouldn't be against it, but you know someone will have a problem with it around here.
  14. Ceislak played FB as an emergency only. He IS NOT FB material. All he showed was he could get his ass kicked back there. I'm definitley on board with a younger FB. I'd like Le'Ron McClain in the 6th round if he is there. Brian Leonard would be a waste of a pick as he will probably be a 3rd round pick and we barely use a FB anyways.
  15. Just like Mike Wahle of Green Bay could play left tackle last offseason, but stayed at guard even though the Panthers LT is a scrub. I don't believe Steinbach could play LT at a high level at all. I'd love to have him at LG though.
  16. Good offseason and I actually have always wanted Gandy at guard myself. As for you JAMIEBUF12 I know you are only kidding and are just trying to stir the pot just a little. At least I hope you are.
  17. Unfortunatley I could see that happening and it being pitched to us as a under-the-radar signing, we are the only ones who knew about this guy and it didn't cost a lot to sign him. McIntosh?!?!?!?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Also a very good guess jahnyc. Solid cover 2 CB who won't command Champ Baily money.
  19. I'll crack open a cold one if that happens Jokeman. Here's hoping you become a TBD famous seer!
  20. The only problem is the 12th spot doesn't warrant an Olineman and Marv is scarred to trade down for some reason. We need to get Steinbach, Davis, or Deilman and I'll be convinced we are serious about being a solid team, not one where at the end of the year we're are like "Oh yeah, if we sign 4-5 Pro Bowlers in free agency and have the best draft in team history we'll be awesome!". If we bet a permeir Olineman in free agency (there are only about 3 but we got the cash ) I would prfer the top rated DT or DE at our first pick, with Levi Brown or Justin Blaylock as the fall-back plan if the top 2 DE's AND DT's are gone. At least one of our lines would then have a chance to be dominant.
  21. Yeah and the league is full of all-purpose backs. Sure if one fell into our laps I'm all over it but come on, it would be a stretch to say there are even 5 great all-purpose backs in the entire league.
  22. Is there a guard from Miami even draftable? Actually I don't think you're even in the correct state. The best guards are Blaylock from Texas, Grubbs from Auburn, and Levi Brown from Penn St. if he doesn't play RT.
  23. I was hoping San Fran would take Jarrett too. It would probably push a defensive player to us that we could really use like Okoye or a DE.
  24. There's this thing called the offseason strength and conditioning program Max997, it's helped players before.
  25. Don't think that McCargo isn't allowed to bulk up either. In his draft write-up it mentioned he had nose tackle potential. Who's to say he doesn't come in at 320 this year? I am so on the Okoye bandwagon it would take me a case of beer to fall off...........
