  1. Probably my favorate draft yet. I would be very pleased with that draft.
  2. I'd like him with our 2nd pick.
  3. I agree with Soland about playing Willis at strong side as a rookie. As for Paul P., I would be livid if we took him at 12! I wouldn't mind loading up on LB's this year with Willis at 12 if he's there and trading back into the late 1st for Pusluszny.
  4. nfldraftcountdown, nfl.com, and gbnreport are the best I know of.
  5. Finally, someone on the same page!
  6. I'll second that ROCCEO!!!
  7. I don't have a crystal ball Pyrite, just a gut feeling. If it did happen that we draft Hall, I'm not predicting him as a can't miss starter at first either, but he will get decent playing time for sure. What I'm really saying is the best case scenario if Hall was picked would be he and Youboty play very well and earn the starting roles, with McGee and the other guys filling the other roles in the defensive backfield. I think that would be what most of us would HOPE to have happen.
  8. He played at around 240 LAST year. He'll play the same position as last year. Kelsat also played at around 250 last year, so these weight are a little late breaking news.
  9. Hall wouldn't be on the bench all year Pyrite, unless he missed a lot of time like Youboty. Thomas might want to start but come on, he was signed as depth at best. I don't see a logjam situation at all, just an oppurtunity to add a legit starting CB. If things turn out well, we could be looking at a Hall and Youboty combo with McGee playing nickle where he belongs........
  10. I'd be scared to death if Ceislak ended up as our FB. He'd be destoyed at the point of attack. Sure he lined up there a little last year but full time!? Please..........
  11. Miller would be a GREAT 3rd round pick, but TE may be an afterthought with all of our holes to fill.
  12. Cut Hargrove as long as he leaves whatever stimulants he is on for the new guy to take before kickoff!!!
  13. In agreement with Matt In DC I gotta say ( NOT WHO I PREFER ) but who I think we'll select with our 1st will be CB Leon Hall. I won't be mad or thrilled, but he seems to be a very SAFE pick for our D. He doesn't have elite speed (40yds) but his cone and shuttle drills were #1 by a good margin. He does fit our D style very well (from what we can gather by our untrained eyes ) so I'm guessing he will be the actual pick, not the Stadium Wall favorate. I'm personally a BillInNYC type (whacked out lineman screamer) but CB does make sense. Hopefully the 2nd pick will be best remaining LB and Manuel Rameirez (G, Texas Tech) as our 1st third rounder followed by the best RB left with our other 3rd rounder. I think we'll have to wait till next year to find a franchise RB.
  14. If a DE like Anthony Spencer was there in the 2nd I would sure consider a guy like that, you can never have to many pass rushers. Throw in DT and WR as well if it's a "I can't believe this guy was available" type situation.
  15. When healthy I maybe take Harris and Seymour before him, maybe. I'd try and pry him for one of our 3rds and cut Tripplett's sorry ass, or keep 5 DT's with obviously Anderson and Jefferson the odd men out. I know our staff won't owe up to the Tripplett mistake, but that's what I would do.
  16. Well, I hate your draft but agree with the compensation for Turner 150%. All these people suggesting a swap of 1sts or even 2nds need to be slapped. Your 1st pick is fine but the 2nd and 3rd round picks are like 1 round- 2 rounds too high.
  17. F**k the Chargrs and AJ Smith. Hope we keep our picks and Turner goes to Tennessee.
  18. I'm expecting A LOT of activity from many teams this draft, especially teams gunning for the #2 spot from Detroit. I don't believe they will take Joe Thomas like every mock is printing either even if they keep the pick, they have Backus and Forter at the tackles already, although I guess they could move Foster to guard I suppose. The Dolphin QB situation should be quite interesting to watch that's for sure!
  19. Either Cory Anderson from Tennessee or McClain IN THE 6TH ROUND. Let some other team waste a pick on Leonard late in the first or second round. You guys are funny, I'd maybe grab him in the 4th.
  20. I think if a trade for Peterson was made we could end up with better 3rds than that, although I do like those picks. Peterson is a franchise back, I don't think Turner has the recieving skills to qualify, although it's not like we've seen enough if him to know this. I know we have multiple needs, but I'm with Pete on this one, Peterson is a guy you can build an offense around, nobody else at 12 is a cornerstone in my opinion.
  21. I love the Waters pick up in the 3rd! He's a guy who not many are talking about but who could definitely handle the punishment that the MLB position requires. By the way, he is available in the 3rd because of an injury last year. I see him as a less athletic but stronger Patrick Wills, who after a year of being eased into the system with a little more playing time as the year goes on, switch to MLB full time next year with Crowell moving back outside. Can't wait for the draft man!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Schobel played LAST season at just over 240, and Kelsay at 250. These updated weights are WAY overdue. Buffalo Bills.com has been showing players rookie weights for years, it's about time they updated this. Before everybody starts screaming BS and wheres your link and all that, I clearly heard the announcers talking about it around the 5th game of last year. They were saying Schobel was talking about his weight loss for the new scheme and how it also helped Kelsay even more than himself. Don't worry so much people, most of these "new" weights are long overdue and were already being played at.
  23. I wouldn't mind a draftee come in and make Larry "THE BUST" Tripplett the odd man out. The guy did next to NOTHING last year and if Branch or Okoye are available when we pick and we select one of em', get rid of Trippletts sorry ass. Walker will fill his role of penetrator and mentor of the young guys. Hey, we'd save some money out of it too.
  24. All he's really trying to say is he is against using a #1 pick in ANY way to obtain Turner, and I agree 150%. Take a 3rd AJ or kiss my ass!!! Even swapping firsts is assinine, I mean, flat out dumb man. I don't know if I'd even swap seconds...........
