  1. I knew that was coming, just had a f****n' feeling. **** the pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Right on Ozymandius. As of right now I'd say we can hang with em' but not dominate yet. Another DE for the defense and a center for the offense if you ask me. Unfortunately, I don't see that center in this draft class.......
  3. I listed guys who were once on another team. As for UDFA, yeah, Mike Tyson's bad, but Pat Williams is a bad MFer!!!
  4. Ted Washington, Spielman or Paup. You really can't go wrong.
  5. I'd say Denny could be the odd man out if we were to cut anybody. But you gotta remember, he's already 32 and only has a year or two left under contract anyways. Harvey could make our defense relentless.............
  6. Losing Whittle hurt our wedge as well so him being back will be a plus. Before Whittle, Justin Bannan was very good on the wedge too. Like I said, I'd like to see Haggen back for sure and Stamer would be nice also, but the draft should provide a few new guys to round the unit out.
  7. He's definitely my perfered pick, hands down.
  8. Also, just say Sedrick Ellis is sitting there....... why would you pass on a guy who is probably the next Warren Sapp ( without the a**hole personality to boot ) and even stronger vs. the run as well for a lesser guy at another position? Because of McCargo or William's potential? Or Harvey at DE.......despite Kelsay's contract he would be a big upgrade there, and probably help Kesay earn his contract by being what he should be: a very good SECOND wave DE. Schobel and Denny are both over 30 as well as is Stroud. Plenty of good reasons why a DL at 11 wouldn't be a bad idea.
  9. I'd like Haggen back, but after him, not too worried.
  10. It could plain and simple be best value at 11. No WR or TE really deserve that spot, although I understand the need, I really do. As for CB, we never keep em' so I say drafting a first round CB is gay.
  11. Or DE Harvey. Schobel 31 years old , Denny 32........not as far fetched as some might think........
  12. Maybe he was thinking some were advocating Carlson at 11 ???? Not sure where he was going with that one either ndirish1978.
  13. Unless all 4 starters are Pro Bowler's and under 30 years old, you're damn right you take a DL if he is the highest rated player at 11 JohnnyB.
  14. Of course, although I do like a couple other WR's that still may be available ahead of Nelson like Doucet or Hardy, I'm 100% with you on that approach Horus. Best WR available in the 2nd (peferably with size).
  15. Horus, that is the best mock I have seen yet! You are the winner and everbody else is just a light.......
  16. Every once in a while Pete you just gotta pull one out of the vault when the situation calls for it!
  17. MarkyMannn, when Youboty has been on the field, he has been a very solid tackler. Just because he hasn't had a very high number of them doesn't mean he hasn't shown very solid form and willingness to get that part of his job done. You made yourself look like a jackass on that one my man. Sorry.
  18. No kidding Simon.........Sweed hurts his freaking WRIST and people are screaming injury prone. Get a clue you igmo's!!!!!
  19. Even if fully healthy I never understood why Merling would even have a remote chance at cracking the top 20 picks ......
  20. Three palmeranian's ( Chewy, Sophie, and Tater ) and a yorkshire terrier ( Pebbles ). When I was a teenager my dad always bred Rotweiler's and I will have one myself eventually..........
  21. The only way Al Davis can save any face after all this is if the NFL stops having a salary cap, cause you just know some jerkoff will try and say oh yeah, Al Davis is a visionary.
  22. I tried watching McCargo a lot this past season, so I'll comment on him. In his role as a second wave DT, I thought he did alright, and believe he has a good fight on his hands if he wants to outplay this new cat, Spencer Johnson. When I watched McCargo on passing downs, he really didn't stand out much and I rarely noticed any push at all. Vs. the run, he looked fairly quick off the ball ( his best asset IMO ) and had some nice tackles for a loss. The thing is, on most of his tackles for losses, he was basically unblocked and came down the line of scrimmage because of his decent burst and was able to make the tackle. I never seen him cleanly beat his man one on one and just didn't see anything that tells me he can dominate any offensive lineman. I still have hope for him though because you gotta remember, he had to have his ankle cleaned up and wasn't cleared for full training until right before training camp. There is NO WAY he could have been close to the best possible shape he could have been in. Barring injury, we will definitely see if trading up for him was worth it this year.
  23. I actually don't think James fits the nickle very well and wouldn't be surprised to see McGee or Greer end up as the nickle. Now, I'm not saying James will start full time although I very well think he could, but I see him playing on the outside when we have 3 or more CB's on the field at one time. I love the flexibility this gives us come draft time!
  24. Should Kelly have a solid or better workout I'm sure everyone will be talking him up as the #1 guy again. I just want an impact player at either WR or DL with the 11th pick.
  25. I am almost positive the first 3 picks will go WR, and then CB and TE in the next two rounds based on what player at one of those two positions they have rated highest will determine which is taken first. I agree with this, but one thing that would deter me fron this scenario would be if Derrick Harvey or Sedrick Ellis is sitting there at the #11 pick. In that case I would put CB on hold for another year.
