  1. That would be fine by me. I'd go for Boldin, say a 2nd this year and a 2nd next. Anymore than that, I take my chances with who is left in the darft or go for a trade up into the late 1st.
  2. That was about 7 years ago when I worked as a trainer at Bally's in Schaumberg Ill. I'm a little over 230 now and probably about 12-15%. Anyways Pete, I was running 30-45 minutes 4-5 days a week at the time along with lifting of course. A typical day of eating would be 1/2 cup oatmeal 6 egg whites with 6 oz. chicken breast at breakfast, protein shake as mid morning snack, 8 oz lean beef or chicken (again) with a salad for lunch, mid afternoon protein shake, 8 oz lean beef or chicken (again ) with a salad or any green vegetable for dinner, and if I was hungry (pretty much every evening) I'd eat 6-8 egg whites with a little hot sauce to get me by. Twice a week I would "carb up" and eat a huge baked potatoe with brown rice to rev my metabolism back up. I was able to stay in that shape for about 3 months but had a good 4 year stretch where I was never higher than 8-9%. Beer and in the last few years wine has undone me.
  3. The best quality and tasting protein supplements on the market since the 60's: www.bodybuildingworld.com ( BEVERLY INTERNATIONAL ). EAS, Met-trx, Muscle-tech (total garbage by the way) are no where close to quality and probably taste as well. No matter your goals , their products ( protein or anything else) leave everything else FAR behind. When I have been in serious fitness mode I have been at 5.6 bodyfat at 5'11 205 lbs and using Bevely International supplements. Check it out for yourself, you get what you pay for, which is the best hands down. www.bodybuildingworld.com
  4. We all need to remember though Schouman didn't get playing time until late in the season, when everybody else was beat up from the season and he was fresh. I just don't see him holding up at FB and is probably the odd man out at TE. Although I'm probably in the minority, I don't see Schouman making the team this year.
  5. I'm a red wine man myself. $10-15 is my price range! Like stevestojan, I have much to learn.
  6. I agree Dane Cook pretty much sucks, and loved it when he got killed in the movie Mr. Brooks. Made me feel good.
  7. Just to give you an idea, when we traded down from 14 to 21 with Tampa Bay and selected Nasty Nate, that netted us a 2nd, so I'd say no way unless it was a 2nd and 3rd at least.
  8. A move that far down would take a 2nd AND a 3rd. No way in hell should this be pinned.
  9. Damn right HIGH MOTER. DAMN RIGHT!!!!
  10. Whether you think Greer had a great year or just an OK one remember this is the last year of his deal and he may want to test the waters of free agency. James one way or the other gives us a little insurance and probably at a very fair rate. I'm glad we brought him in and wouldn't mind putting CB off for a year. Let the chips fall......... Also, while I'm cetainly not counting on it, the CB situation as a whole could improve even further if Youboty ever realizes that word we always use around here....potential.
  11. Exactly Stl Bills. Most of these guys will be able to block just fine when taught how to do it by an NFL coach, and especially Rucker! I bet he could get some good practice from his older brother MIKE RUCKER NFL DE as well.....
  12. What billoverdue said. That would be an ideal scenario. I really wouldn't worry about the "bring in Huard bench Edwards" crowd. We'll take care of them.
  13. Totally agree he is a guy flying under the radar and would love to grab Harvey in the 1st, WR in the 2nd and still land a pretty good upgrade at TE with Martin Rucker in the 3rd!!! Oooooooooooooh yeah brother!!!!
  14. Had we had Ted Washington we would have 2-3 SuperBowl rings.......
  15. I know you are probably just as anxious as I am BuffaloBilliever but it is a good question. Why is the draft so far away? Once pro days are over you would figure teams would want their draft picks participating in their offseason training programs ASAP once they sign their contract of course. If that isn't a good enough reason to move the draft up than how about because I WANT IT MOVED UP DAMNIT!!!
  16. I suppose you could throw Wendling into the mix as well at strong should the staff really be thinking about moving Whitner to free. He has the size, we shall see about the skills...........
  17. Just a thought, but with Simpson having plenty of time to add upperbody strength cause of his ankle and many thinking he's a step to slow, how about a flip-flop? Simpson to strong and Whitner to free? Before I wouldn't have thought Simpson physical enough to play strong, but it ain't like he hasn't had time to gain strength and mass in the weight room. Thoughts?..........
  18. Thanks. buffalobills.com=RJ these days. Roster doesn't show anything.
  19. With the James signing I wouldn't mind putting CB off for a year unless a guy we really like is there in the 3rd. We gotta go for firepower at WR and TE in this draft but also keep our options open for a top pass rusher should Harvey be there at 11.
  20. call for silly questions. Not much to talk about and I've been curious about this. If I had to guess I'd say the first mini-camp. Anyone know any different?
  21. I'd be all over it if he was a free agent, but we need our picks........
  22. Harvey if available is my top choice, and would give us a great rotation. Yeah, we could miss out on the top WR's, but if we focus on adding the best TE available in the 2nd, another position that has been pathetic for far too long, we could take a chance on someone like Bowman in the 3rd. I would be fine with that approach. Don't forget Teyo Johnson as a red zone WR should we fail to land a skyscraper WR this draft........
  23. I'll add that Losman NOR his agent have never stated a potential holdout either. If anything does happen, it'll probably be draft day. JMO....
  24. I don't think you are missing anything. No team is gonna give us a pick valuable enough to give away a QB who knows our personel and there is nobody out there as good or better. Also, no matter what some say, even though Losman may want out, he has NEVER shown that he isn't a team player and would cause a ruckus in the locker room. He will lay low and get an oppurtunity sooner or later here or somewhere else.
  25. 3.15 here in East Tennessee. I sold my truck a couple months ago and bought a 92 Pontiac Grand Prix that runs like new and very nice on gas, if there is such a thing these days. Vehicles last way longer down south plus it only had about 23,000 miles on it. Even if I can afford it I don't plan on buying anything new until we go to an alternate source of fuel.
