  1. My IQ is 462, passing 10, rushing 7, pass D 10, and run D 8. I'm in week 7 now after taking the skill test when I first got the game at midnight. I'm a franchise man myself..... but yeah, it (online play, etc.) has affected gameplay for sure.
  2. Thanks Ramius. Are the sliders part of the difficulty settings?!?!?! I know, I'm dumb.
  3. As a die hard Bills fan I refuse to use another team! I'll do it for you though and check back in later. Any tips would be appreciated but I was under the impression I was the Madden master!!!!
  4. It is for the 360, and it and the PS3 are supposed to be almost identical this year. Like I said you can set pass O, passing D, running O, and run D at different difficulty levels (which is a cool feature I suppose) but unless I set run offense on a rookie difficulty level I can't do squat on the ground. The rest of the game is pretty good though.
  5. Unless I set rushing at a very low difficulty level I'm finishing with about a 30 yards per game rushing average. You can't even get out of the backfield on most plays.
  6. Well I've come to the conclusion that running the ball is a complete waste of time in this game. You can't in any difficulty level higher than rookie on 360. This truely blows!!!!
  7. Got it last night and so far I hate the running game but everything else is pretty good. Also difficult to win individual battles as a D-lineman, we'll see if practice helps, but so far thumbs down for running the ball and getting sacks as a D-lineman.
  8. It'll be Dwayne Wright, although it really isn't much of a surprise.
  9. He'll get a chance to stick around because he has athleticism, but he'll never have enough strength to be a starter. He just has WAY too long to go in that department.
  10. Maybe he's on a vicious crack binge. Remember the old LT stories??? Maybe he can't put the pipe down......
  11. I'm very happy to hear progress on the Evans front. It would be nice to avoid breaking up a Moulds/Price type of combo and have a good 4 years of stability at the position. As for Peters, I'd like him to report and would like to see one of those Terrence McGee deals where an extension is signed later in the season but where some of the cap hit will get charged to this year. The would be smooth.
  12. I think Ellis will need a full offseason of strength training and coaching, but the result of that will probably be a starting LDE position, with Kelsay and Denny in reserve.
  13. When I worked at World Gym in Hamburg I met Poo Bear Williams, and worked out with Eric Smeadly (spelling?!?!) , Marcellus Wiley, and "friggen" Lonnie Johnson. I also seen Ted Washington in WalMart once, good God he was enourmous!!!!!
  14. After reading the "nose-tackle weight argument" in this thread, do any of you honestly think Marcus Stroud weighs 310 lbs.???? I mean seriously, whether he plays the nose or 3 technique, his weight being too light won't be the issue, because he is somewhere between 330 and 350 lbs. As for the "Stroud being the benificiary of Henderson argument", that one's a load of crap as well. They complimented each other equally, with Stroud being rewarded the Pro Bowls. The only issue here is his ankle, which, if healed, gives us a great addition to our D-line. End of story. With Stroud, McCargo and Williams all taking snaps at the nose, we should be fine.
  15. Been there to watch my father's band during Oktoberfest, pretty good time I must say. Sat in on Friend of the Devil and a few others so I could drink free beer.
  16. Too bad Ruben never played any center.
  17. Yeah, a center with pure power and good technique has been a wish of mine for a while now Stl Bills. Unfortunately, the draft didn't have one and the only guy in free agency (Jeff Faine) went to Tampa Bay.
  18. Touche Huuuge one!
  19. Saturday of the Colts is getting long in the tooth and they lost Jake Scott to the Titans, along with the fact that all those centers they drafted could potentially play guard=not a sure thing to any of them being released otisly00.
  20. Awesome size to strength ratio StLouis if you bench 225 more than 10 times at 170 with long arms! Good job man. I got the dreaded long arms too and my best at 210 lbs was 17 reps with 225. I'm 225 right now (coincidently) down from 238 and on my way back to 210 or less!!!
  21. Right Kelly. It wouldn't hurt since some injuries take longer than others. Even if he only came back 90% it would still be a big upgrade over Melvin.
  22. I'd say HGH is his only chance!!! Seriously though, I know someone is gonna come with the "he has unusually long arms" claim even though they've never seen the guy play as a strength excuse, but he is YEARS away. Being so athletic he could maybe survive against some super-light speed rushers at first but all the big 3-4 ends would absolutely demolish the guy should he see the field anytime in the next couple of years.
