  1. While I agree that Greer has played well and I'm proud of him for re-dedicating himself the the game the last couple seasons, he will probably be the odd man out this coming offseason. He will probably be offered too much money to stick around. I think the plan will be to have McKelvin take his spot next year and have Youboty and Corner keep battling for the nickle spot. Don't be surprised to see the Bills approach Youboty about an extension once Evans and Peters are taken care of either. I would be a good move to keep him around before he becomes too expensive like what will probably happen with Greer. Prepare for a 3rd or 4th round CB selection in the draft to follow......
  2. Yeah, it would have been a lot cooler had the Bills been up 51-3 at the time!!!!
  3. You saved me with that site last week Dean, and I thank you. The only thingwas after the end of the 3rd quarter the connection failed and I only got re-connected two more times for one play each time, which was rough. I'm still happy I got to see 3 quarters even though I missed a crucial part of the game.
  4. I have no problem admitting I wanted to sign him at all. The guy has a lot of ability but just doesn't apply himself it seems. He'd be great in the Schouman-role as a move-around 2nd TE if was willing to work hard and learn the offense. Oh well......
  5. Damn right BillsVet! Damn right! Deep Voice, help me out..........
  6. Let me add that Edwards has been slightly spoiled with pretty darn good pass protection in his short career guys. Most young QB's have gotten the snot kicked out of them by this time with as many starts as TE. With very few complaints of Edwards thus far, learning that the protection won't always be great (especially backside) because of injuries or whatever will be something he will have to and should be able to work on.
  7. No, Chambers can't play center.
  8. Jacksonville's draft had Gregg Williams written all over it. Trading up to get the two DE's was a huge leap of faith that his scheme is going to be the way to go, and it's hard to argue against it. Williams knows how to coach defense and loves his DE's with speed. Once Harvey and Groves catch up to the speed of the game they will probably become a very nice combo. I'm glad we are catching them early in their careers today.
  9. I'm hoping we are picking pretty low in the draft year which IS usually a great spot for TE's, LB's and centers. But should a highly rated DT or DE the Bills love fall to our spot.......why not turn the heat up even hotter!!???!!!???!???
  10. I thought thet were giving Preston a pretty good this preseason at center. He would be in there by the 2nd series pretty much every game. I think they are still nervous with his shotgun snapping, although I saw improvement.......
  11. I don't know how far back the information would go, but I'd love to check out the combine stats for the last twenty or so years on the offensive linemen. Anyone know any info????
  12. Boselli and Pace. A slight edge to Boselli in pass pro and a slight edge to Pace in the run game. Honerable mentions to Munoz and Walter Jones.
  13. I'm not a McCargo basher, and believe we'll need him this week in the Florida heat and quite a few more occasions before the season is over. However, it completely baffles me when I hear the "flashes of brilliance" and the word "dominating" to describe his play. All I've seen is a quick first step and burst when he is UNBLOCKED. He may have led the team in tackles for loss but not one of them did he physically beat his man with a nice move, pure power, or any move for that matter. Like I said, we're gonna need him in Jax this week and later on against heavy run teams but someone let me know the first time he blows up an offensive lineman across from him because I haven't seen it happen yet.
  14. Ya never know, McCargo may play a role sooner than we think. May need him to play in the Florida heat.......
  15. Evans should of had a deal done during training camp, and should still be the first. Evans, hands down.
  16. I noticed his solid play as well, which has been a pleasant surprise. I though his goose may had been cooked at one point. We may have two CB's to extend this offseason........
  17. I wouldn't mind him backing up the tackles and playing some TE in goalline packages for this game. Although I am still pissed he let his teammates down (make no mistake, he did), he absolutely can take this line to the next level when ready.
  18. Crowder would be a smooth move.....
  19. I have had the anxious jitters for two days already........
  20. A much more important question is which one(s) os US will be inactive on MONDAY??? For real though, you pretty much got it except I wouldn't rule out Costanzo, cuz April loves him on special teams. I personally don't feel comfortable with Bell being active but I don't think we have another choice just yet.
  21. First of all, Dan Connor is not a NFL caliber OUTSIDE LBer so all the Penn St homers need to stop it right now with the shoulda coulda crap. As for Ellison, we should be OK with him for this season . He has put on a little more size each season so far and should hold up just fine. Sure, I'd love Demarcus Ware manning that spot for us but Ellison sure beats an old Eddie Robinson or Donnie Spragan manning that spot.
  22. Once again get it right Ranger Retard. The polish one wouldn't have made it back ANYTIME last season. You beat me to it GhostsOfTHERockpile but I felt it neccesary to throw in the retard part. I'm sick of the Poz could have made it back comments. Stop being a blind pollock homer people.
  23. My point right there 4LIFE. You make it happen when someone shows top talent and 1st class like Lee Evans has done. A great chance to show how a great teammate gets treated on this team Bills management..........your move.
  24. Exactly. There is NO reason this shouldn't already be a DONE DEAL.
