Although our pass rush=RJ the one time it could be cancelled out is those bad weather playoff games if we were lucky enough to get them. Then neither team would have a pass rush!!! Unfortunately, if we made it to the Super Bowl that game is played in nice weather or a dome.

My only "big" complaint was sticking with McGee, and I've already read all the "but McKelvin....." . People....the two TD's shown on SportsCenter are not the only two plays McKelvin has been on the field for. He HAS been making strides, but I know it's hard to see for the folks who only focus on the plays shown on the highlight shows. I don't think McKelvin would have held Ginn to 0 catches or anything, but it's not a good move to leave a CB who was clearly WAY less than 100% out there after the first quarter. Anyways, I'm just a little tired of hearing "McKelvin abused, torched, burnt repeatedly, etc when he has gotten better but has been on the wrong end of a few SportsCenter play which is all people focus on. This game wasn't fair to McGee and showed my only big complaint with Jauron, waiting way too long to make certain changes.

I'd keep the starting lineup for this game the rest of the season if injuries allow it. Fowler and Butler can be the back ups.

Whittle is better than Butler though........

The last time I checked Pete, you come off as a guy who can handle yourself pretty well, you bike mile after mile, workout pretty regularly........ this "kid" must have a gun or I figured you would have put his sorry ass in intensive care by now. The only way I'd be happy if the Bills went secondary was if somehow William Moore fell to their pick. I'd then move Whitner to free with Moore at strong. To put that thought to an end though, Moore could be a top 10 safety and something tells me we won't be picking around that spot!!! I'd like center, DE, TE, or DT to be the pick.

I agree richNjoisy that as the passing game developes more the run game will not look as bad but when it becomes late season weather and all you can do is run the ball we will need a better C and RG to be a team to be reckoned with year in and year out. Let's hope we get that done this offseason...........

When they first moved Preston to guard I hated the move because I knew he didn't have the explosive raw power needed to play the position (neither does Butler on top of the fact he is too tall for the position) and I'm happy he's back at center where he is a little more servicable than Fowler. We blew it not drafting Jason Brown but I would love to redeem that mistake by drafting Alex Mack and have him play at RG until he is mentally ready to take over the center position from Preston. Sure, we'll still need a RG after all that, but hopefully we'll find a way to get a better RG too......

Same as the last two posters but at the same time, let's vote McCCain in and pay 10 bucks a gallon for gas.

The entire Oline needs to hold him down and stomp the living s**T outta him if he takes a cheap shot at Trent. You can't wait for "the league" to do something about stuff like that. Let em' know that s**t don't fly around here!!!!

What was wrong with losing to the Cardinals? Or is your head so far up your ass you thought they would be a bad team forever??? Now, I kind of feel you on the Fins, we should not lose to em', but wake up man, the Cardinals are a legit football team.

I'll add since Ellis hasn't been getting game action he should be able to get some pretty decent weight lifting sessions in. When you're playing in the games all you're really doing is working out the soreness. When Marcellus Wiley used to come into World Gym in Hamburg (when it was on Southwestern) he told me during his offseason workouts he got his bench up to a 500 lb. max but just coming into the gym during the season he was just doing a few sets of 275 for 6 reps because his body was so sore and beat up. Hopefully Ellis is using the non playing time to his advantage while he can.....

I'd say Ellis has the wheels with a reported 4.5-4.6 40 time but what he does lack right now is strength. I believe in his draft write up he only boasted a 355 or 365 lb. bench press and his squat wasn't anything special either.

Stick with Preston the rest of the way and bring him back while also drafting one within the first two picks. A mid round RG or free agent would be nice too, cause Butler should be a backup tackle, not a starting guard. Period.

We should keep Preston in there and draft a center within the first two rounds. I'd like another RG brought in as well but we got other fish to fry so I don't see the Bills bringing in two interior linemen although they should.

Awards aside, if Edwards keeps playing at this level by the start of next season I'll go on record and say Trent is gonna be one rich biotch. BIG money comin folks........NO, it's gonna be HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGE Buffalo HUGE!!!

Peters was outstanding. I have never been impressed with Preston's play either (especially at guard) but at center he IMO is a slight upgrade over Fowler. I would let Fowler go and keep Preston as a backup to a 1st day pick at center next year.

Two things: Yes, I think Preston should stay at center the rest of the way this year so we can get a better evaluation of him and keep the seat warm for Alex Mack ( the Bills 1st round pick this next draft) , and besides the two TD's which are the only plays most see from a CB, McKelvin is making strides. This playing time will really pay off down the road, maybe sooner than we think.........

Just a guess on my part, but I'm starting to think Ellis has a very unprofesional attitude problem or something. I figured he would have gotten more snaps at least in passing situations this game. I know people will bring up the "better depth" than in years past argument but I'm starting to wonder about Mr. Ellis. Should have played more with Schobel being out and all.
