  1. What Paup 1995MVP said. I'd like to lock em' both up just so we don't have to worry about another GDamn CB filled draft. FIX THE FRONT 7 AND CENTER AND RG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. It's the pope's fault. He's a false idol.
  3. Sorry, but I'm not as excited about another 6'7 guard that Wilfork can just walk into the backfield all game long. Chambers had one decent game against a bum shoulder Patrick Kerney and people have been yelling get him in the line up blah blah blah......Well, looks like your wishes shall be granted, and it won't be pretty.
  4. You say missing our best pass rusher (who has to be accounted for on every play ) is the reason for such a poor pass rush oak tree 12?? News flash: Our pass rush sucked when Schobel was healthy too, so you need a clue. When Aaron Schobel is your best pass rusher, YOU"VE GOT PROBLEMS. Schobel is decent, but we need someone on the other side AND a better DT so Kyle Williams is not starting, but coming on the field in the 2nd rotation. The front 4 is where it needs to happen because in this defense the coaches put a higher priority in coverage and run stopping ability when it comes to LBers. Plus, there is only one DeMarcus Ware in the league as well. LBers who can cover and have elite pass rush skills are RARE. There are many great pass rushing LBers out there (Porter, Harrison, Merriman to name a few) but most of em' are not good in coverage, so our wonderful coaches won't even be looking for these guys.
  5. That's cause really good one's are hard to find Sage, and don't come around very often. Damien Woody, Chris Spencer, and Nick Mangold are a few 1st round centers I can think of. This year, there are actually 4 or 5 first DAY caliber centers (when last year there were none IMO) but I would wait until no later than the 2nd round to make sure we get a guy we like. I really hope we get lucky and find a quality pass rusher with the 1st pick. I too thought two centers is a little crazy but if we took one in the 2nd round and another one we liked was still sitting there on the 2nd day, why not, especially if that guy could also play guard, which many centers can. I'm hoping free agency lands two quality starters like DT, LB or even TE.
  6. Well at least they finally have come out and said what kind of injury it is. Was that so hard??? Why does it take these guys a month to figure out what wrong with the players???
  7. But what if there aren't any quality DT's Big Hurt??? From what I can tell, most of the DT's in this draft look like McCagro types. DE if one is available worth the pick would be my first choice, but I believe Alex Mack could start from day one (even if it is at guard till he is ready for center) and even be an upgrade from Preston or Butler, immediately. I wouldn't mind going after a DT like Tubbs from the Seahawks in free agency and a LB.
  8. Never said anything about the dudes mom, just his ability to play with pain. When healthy, I like how he plays...solid tackler, aggressive.......and hope he plays this week.
  9. I meant the Big Cat, not murra. Sorry.
  10. Always missing time with "undisclosed" injuries..... like Youboty (foot) did not practice again today......Well, what exactly is wrong with his foot? They never go into detail. Like murra said, you knew that already.
  11. McKelvin and Corner both should have been playing more than they have IMO. Youboty can play but seems to be "soft"....
  12. That's what sucks HIGH MOTOR, all the good one's will be gone top 15, and we'll probably be around 20 or so. What's a brother gonna do????
  13. I'll also add, even if we went after Suggs, who would slide over to LE? I don't think either he or Schobel really fit that side, although I'd be willing to try it.
  14. I think he meant a 3-4 "bigger" type DE bandit. The reason I listed Jackson is because I believe we will miss out on all the potential "playmaking ie. sackmasters" as usual. I'm all for pulling the trigger should Hardy or Orakpo be available at our pick.
  15. I'm thinking Tyson Jackson at LE could give us that type of production stuckincincy, and it would be a perfect compliment to a healthy Schobel for a couple years. We will need a RE very soon too.........
  16. Peppers and Suggs, two guys the Bills will never make a play for. As for OLB, Channing Crowder is a player I wouldn't mind stealing away from Miami. He would be a slight upgrade over a healthy Crowell, which would be fine if we continue to run this same defense. I'd like a DT or OG/OC in free agency as well.
  17. I agree that DE and center are the top two needs and only hope if we take one of em' with our 1st rounder a worthy player at the other position is available at the 2nd round pick. Most of the time you have to get that DE early (besides getting lucky with a Strahan or Osi U) so I'm hoping we go DE first and get lucky and Jonathan Luiggs is still available when we pick in the 2nd round. I think Mack goes late 1st and Luiggs mid to early 2nd so my fingers are crossed. I'm also considering a bigger type DE like Tyson Jackson who probably won't ever become a year in year out 10-15 sacks type guy but someone who will be good/great vs the run and can collapse the pocket as well. The speed rusher types are so hit and miss I'm willing to try something a little different.
  18. I would just move Butler to the Chambers "swing tackle" role and find another RG, keep Preston and groom a draft pick behind him, and as for giving Bell backup reps, he won't even be on the team next year if the front office has any clue whatsoever. I guess just keep Chambers and Butler as the backup tackles. For the remainder of this season though, Peters, Dockery, Preston, Butler, and Walker is the only way to go. Butler should be back soon.
  19. Just as many people voted for McCain because Obama is black just like others "voted for the black guy cause it's cool". Most people down south voted McCain because they can't handle a black president. It's the stone cold truth.
  20. On the cheap!!!!!!!
  21. Yeah but hopefully a couple of those needs are taken care of in free agency. If center is the highest rated player on the board you take him.
  22. White people who think they are black??? Oh, you mean the kids on Madden Nation!!!!
  23. Yesterday the best nose tackle in football came to Orchard Park and killed our center and RG all afternoon. Even so, 30 yards rushing at home is pathetic and the blocking should have been better than it was. Missing Lynch didn't really make much difference IMO, it was lack of blocking. You weren't wrong AT ALL about yesterday Dan. THAT was abysmal!!!
  24. I'm not saying it couldn't of been better, just it wasn't ABYSMAL vs. Miami. Not that it matters, but if Lynch would have had the majority of the carries vs. the Phins, he would of had 100. The line and running philosophy in general need a BIG TIME overhaul this offseason as well as defensive philosophy mainly PASS RUSH.
  25. The run game vs. Miami was fine. No, Butler or Fowler are not any better than we think they are. For this year, the line should be Peters, Dockery, Preston, Butthead(if healthy), and Walker. Next year, Peters, Dockery, JASON BROWN, ALEX MACK (until he is ready for line calls then he can flip with Brown) and Walker.
