Another trade Jason Peters thread. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, Kirk Chambers is a backup level lineman at best. Second, this draft will see 6-8 offensive tackles go in the first round, nobody is gonna give up anything even close to a worthwhile offer when they can just draft a guy. Nobody is gonna trade a franchise DE either. Give Peters, Greer, and Jackson new deals and then get more talent here through free agency and the draft. All this trade talk is getting really ridiculous...........

If they get him signed so he's here for the offseason program and OTA's I would almost guarantee no one will question his 3rd straight Pro Bowl selection. In person he may be a me me me greedy self centered assh**e, but on the football field he is the best LT we've had since Wolford, and will most likely end up even better. Like him or not, his fault or not, another holdout will just hold back this offense once again.

Peters has flat out sucked this season?!?! How so? On the SportsCenter plays which are the only one's you have obviously focused on? Maybe you and the Senator should get cozy in the backseat of the generalee. You're perfect for one another!

I was as mad as anybody about the holdout but when I read crap like "Peters continues sucking" I gotta call you out. YOU ARE A MAROON!!!! Peters is the Bills best lineman BY FAR and yes, besides the untimely sacks that only the jackasses around here see he pretty much played dominant football with no offseason conditioning program and only a weeks practice before his first game. But please, keep pushing a little harder, 2 or 3 more inches and your head will be completely up your ass you Dukes of Hazzard lovin assclown. Take away his less than 10 rough plays and he DID still play at a Pro Bowl level like it or not. But hey, we have a LT with Pro Bowl ability let's try and trade him!!!!!!!

I'd rather Scott back up the left side than Chambers or Bell, so I like the signing. He's probably just as good for the right side too, so all in all a good move IMO. Now if we can bring in a Jason Brown at center or draft one of the top 3 centers while bringing back Preston as an interior G, C, G backup, I'll feel pretty good about the O-line situation. For those writing him off because of the whole "he was on the Lions" thing, you are just uninformed. Scott has the skills to be a decent player in this league, and a fine backup.

If we can get someone like Jason Brown in free agency and bring back Preston to back up C and both guard spots, we'll be much more flexible come draft time. Add a DE or LB and I'll feel very good going into the draft. Any more than that like a legit #2 WR and I'll feel great.

I don't know why they just don't have surgery now just to be on the safe side and make sure he has plenty of time to heal. Now, he not only hasn't been getting any leg training in lately, he also won't get any in all offseason and into training camp. Even when he is healthy again, he's gonna get thrown around like a little b**ch from having no lower body power. DE is priority #1 by far this offseason.

DE's George Selvie, Greg Hardy, or OLB Aaron Curry. Trade back up for Mack.

I'd agree with that defensive statement Jerry. But if say the top 3 DE's are gone when we pick and the top OLB in the draft (Aaron Curry) is sitting there at our pick, I'd be fine with that as well. I don't see a top 20 DT in this draft so I don't even see one drafted to be quite honest. Curry and Mitchell would at least keep offenses guessing with who will blitz and Curry is outstanding in pass coverage and almost as good against the run.
