  1. Whoever has bought a Maybin jersey looks to be safe for now. I know it's a minor note, but I seen it on buffalobills.com and just figured i'd pass it along.
  2. Maybe we pick up someone else's cut up and Kelsay still goes.....
  3. Not surprised one bit. Chambers was ridiculously overrated around here.
  4. Stop smoking rock. Like mjohn85 said the only similarity is the f**kin' hair. SJ has a chance to suceed Reed if he keeps working hard, but isn't a #2 and sure as hell doesn't have "Fitzgeraldesque" qualities. There are a boatload of recievers in this league that "go up and get it" it's just sad that we haven't had one since Moulds.
  5. If the Bills add a QB, it won't be till after the season, so I agree with Bruce ang Wings. It's just what the Bills do.
  6. Schouman brings NOTHING. Now that the Turd is gone, maybe AVP will do the right thing and play guys who actually have some upside. You don't have to be on an NFL coaching staff to see Schouman should be GONE. To early to say, but I'm not sold on Harris quite yet, but we all know Ellison ain't the answer at LOLB for sure!
  7. Leave it to Kelsay and Schouman to f**k the roster up. Wish both of these stiffs were soooo outta here.
  8. I voted no, Seymore will absolutely destroy him. One thing I am sure of though, at least for this year, is Wood will stay at RIGHT guard. I can see a possible flipflop with Hangartner NEXT year though. As for Levitre, he could stand to definitely get stronger, but it's best off throwing him into the fire now. Believe it or not he has been a little more steady than Wood, at least as far as not missing blocks and assignments go. No matter how it shakes out, I see a bright future for the 3 interior linemen. The tackles are guys I think we could scrap by with, but I sure would like to see another added this offseason.
  9. Agreed billsfreak. F**kin' gangstas!!! NFL should ban the Predator haircut. I can't stand that s**t.
  10. How many have bought a Maybin jersey??? I've been waiting for this to happen and was wondering myself if Maybin would jump at the chance at getting his college number back. Or should he wait a little longer and see if any number in the 90's could open up??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....................
  11. I haven't seen Johnson do a damn thing this preseason. I believe it's time for a guy to be groomed for Reeds role, but don't believe Johnson is that guy yet. Prove me wrong playa!
  12. I agree with a lot of your predictions mrags. I won't jump on the playoff birth just yet, but most of the others I have similar outlooks except for the DB predictions: I think McKelvin will turn into a high risk/high reward corner, and agree with you with on McGee, but don't see Corner or Lankster as replacements. They are what McGee should have been all along: nickle CB's. Unless Youboty becomes magically durable, I smell the dreaded high round CB draft pick once again. DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Right on Rubes. I swear had there not been bad weather during the Browns game Winslow would of had near 200 yards recieving, he was wide open so often. A LB like Aaron Curry would fit the Bills.........er bill. I know, he went 4th, I'm just saying a guy like that would be a big piece to the puzzle of solving the 3rd and long woes....as for the rest of the secondary, I've never seen so many passes completed into heavy traffic, we have nobody that intimidates whatsoever.
  14. I would probably go as high as a 3rd. You figure with the combination of Strouds age, McCargo probably not being back, and Spencer Johnson being completely invisible we would probably be wise to draft a DT next year anyways. Why not just trade for a proven player?
  15. Cower won't help. Yeah, just bring in a coach who spits when he yells, that will fix it. Fire em' all anyways though.
  16. Actually Thoner7 we are probably all wrong. Bills will probably do just enough to miss out on a blue chipper like Dunlop, who I agree, would be an awesome player to get. I'm very excited about a rookie pay scale, but again, we'll probably pick 8-12th, and miss out on a franchise caliber player. I also agree with not being sold on any of the QB's as top 5 picks (although at least one of em' will get taken there regardless). Tebow is just to much of an unknown taken out of Florida's system, Bradford looks like he'll get broken in half, and I just don't know if I can cheer for a guy f**kin' named Colt. F**kin' rednecks I swear! As for Snead, he is a big strong armed QB who just happens to suck at playing QB. Pray a Drew Brees situation emerges in free agency folks..........and of course the new coach pulls the trigger.
  17. I'm pretty much in agreement with matter2003 and circlerotw, Whitner and Byrd as the starters but Scott definitely has a spot in certain packages.
  18. I'm gonna enjoy the season to the best of my ability anyways, but this is what's coming. A new 3 year "plan" along with a guy with the largest contract in team history who hasn't even played a down in the NFL. Preseason or not, I don't see how anybody can still be high on Trent. For all my fellow draft geeks, follow those coolege QB's and post often. BillInNYC, don't worry, my mock draft will include a first day lineman on one or even both sides of the ball, but when you are most likely picking in the top 10, "you don't pass on a franchise QB unless you already have one" will hold true. I also don't see any potential Paces, Jones, or Ogdens in this class (yet) so a lineman will have to wait a round. WooooooooHooooooooo!!!!! Another rebuilding plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Agree with both of you. Compared to George I would say Wells has a little more wiggle and breakaway speed, but may not even be half as durable. Time will tell, and if he stays injury-free, I agree he could be OROTY.
  20. Short and sweet for me. The only way this team has a winning record is if the offense finishes mostly healthy and around 10th in yardage and scoring. The D is missing another DT to pair with Stroud and the LBers are too slow, too small, or both.
  21. I'm not on the Johnson or Jenkins loveboat personally. We can find special teamers at other positions IMO. There has been talk of Hardy being the odd man out here (on this board that is) and trade Roscoe for what you can because we are overstocked at the position. What about next year if the team chooses to not resign Reed and TO decides to move on?......all of a sudden we are very thin at WR.....BOOM....just like that. I would prefer to keep Roscoe and Hardy(the light may come on for this guy and his size is something that can't be coached) even if it means no Johnson or Jenkins. Jenkins does NOTHING for me as a WR and Johnson really doesn't have as much upside as most think IMO. If I had to keep one it would be Johnson because he at least COULD become a taller Josh Reed type with a little more TD ability. I don't see any upside with Jenkins at all.
  22. This stiff won't even be in the league next year.
  23. I'm pro but would still have taken Ngata every time. How awesome would it be to have Ngata and Stroud on the field at the same time?!?!?!?! Yeah I know, we probably never would have traded for Stroud had we selected Ngata......I STILL WOULD HAVE!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Totally agree with the thread title. Then, don't bring back Denny next year and grab another rookie pass rusher ASAP. Keep the new blood comin'..............
