  1. However it shakes down IMO the Bills need to grab a OT in free agency or within the first 3 rounds of the draft. Pleasantly surprising though, I think the Bills can do alright with Bell at LT (can't believe I'm saying that!)which really leaves RT as the only real weakspot. No, Cordaro Howard is not the answer no matter how bad you want him to be but the Bills could get lucky and still land a very solid RT with the early 3rd round pick should they opt to wait that long. Green will not be on the team next year. That's my opinion on the current state of the Bills offensive line.
  2. I think he's being talked about as a late 1st early 2nd round prospect. That said, if we don't land Luck or Mallet with the high 1st I'd rather wait till 2012 for a QB. Rebuild the front 7 if we can't get a franchise QB.
  3. With Fitz we can at least to afford to bring along the top pick slowly should that be the way things shake out. Would be very similar to the John Kitna Carson Palmer situation in Cincy a few years back. I still think if the right guy is available QB IS THE WAY YOU GOTTA GO, but at least it won't be a thrown to the wolves type situation. Sorry bout the caps lock accident.
  4. I am hoping for two front 7 players on D and either a RT or a reliable blocking TE with at least average recieving skills on O in the next free agency. None have to be superstars, but at least on a Dwan Edwards talent level. Not too much to ask for IMO.
  5. Play the guy back to back full games, not this "obvious passing downs" crap, and if he stinks it up, sit him down for the year. Let him get into the flow of game at least. If next year by training camp he looks useless, cut or trade him.
  6. RT is the only spot I see a probable change. Probably Urbik or Howard take Green's spot. I also thought Wang may have been given a shot at RT too but I guess they want to start him off at G which I don't care for too much. I guess we'll see............
  7. Don't worry, before the year is over Bell will be released and the Bills will have another chance to bring him back. Will they choose to remains to be seen..............
  8. Until this line shows some progress they probably don't want to get Spiller killed. It would be stupid to run him into the ground before the rest of the team is up to par.
  9. I believe that an O-lineman was never any part of a disscussion involving Lynch. However, after the bye week I wouldn't mind seeing a lineup of Bell, Levitre, Wood, Hang/Urbik, or Merideth/Urbik and see how that goes.
  10. I think when it all shakes down we'll probably pick around 5th. Grab a true upgrade at RT in free agency, scratch by with Bell for one more year and then do whatever has to be done to grab your franchise QB. Trade up or whatever. It absolutely can't wait any longer. Yeah, we'll still need a LT and impact pass rusher, but hopefully the hardest piece of the puzzle to find will finally be on the roster.
  11. It was a loser play by a total f**kin loser. End of story and career.
  12. Stealing a great quote from some cheesy fantasy football magazine..............being the starting QB from the Buffalo Bills is like being the coolest guy at a Nickleback concert. You're a total queer no matter what!!!
  13. Anyone remember the KC game last year? No, Fitzpatrick is not the answer either. Brohm should get a shot if Edwards were to be pulled, although that thought really doesn't excite me much as well.
  14. Wang probably isn't powerful enough for RT, Urbik for all we know could be worse in pass protection than Green, which leaves Merideth. While not super powerful like a prototypical RT, I suppose it's time to see if Merideth can be a full time starter. Sink or swim Jamon.
  15. It should be Ellis and Maybin with Torbor getting some early run down snaps here and there for Maybin. Kelsay should be cut ASAP.
  16. you need to be stabbed in the face. I'm just sayin.........
  17. U guys f**king rule. I for one appreciate all the possible links seeing I'm in east Tennessee. Man am I stoked today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. Levi Brown will have to find a regular job like the rest of us, that is what will happen to him.
  19. Sometimes a smiley face is worth more than a thousand words!
  20. Another good point KellyTFABD. Special teams and many max protect schemes or multiple back formations definitely played a big part in the decision.
  21. Pretty much agree with ya 100%, especially with Jackson. Definitely showed he could play, but the staff probably felt he couldn't for 16 plus games. Too bad, because I'm definitely not a member of the Steve Johnson fanclub.
  22. I'm just sayin it would be nice if we get an injury or Steve Johnson totally flops that we could pick a guy up that at least was in the system and even showed flashes of being able to contribute. Did either of these guys even get picked up?
  23. One less LB who will get toasted in pass coverage IMO. The LB unit will be the unit with the most turnover from right now until next year. I'd bet my life on it.
  24. He's a world class pole smoker. Please CB, enlighten us with the facts........
  25. I pretty much was referring to our LBers Dollars to Donuts. In a 3-4 the LBers, not the DE's, are counted on for the main source of pass rush.
