  1. Don't laugh. This move is the key to our turn around!!!!!
  2. I know he can return kicks, so can other guys without world class speed. Where I get the "he is not fast enough from" is when the faster recievers get behind him quite easily. This is not lack of expirience, it is just he isn't fast enough to stay with the speedier recievers. I do like him though. Mr. guest, I know because I've see it with my own two eyes.
  3. Are you trying to stir up contraversy Brady?
  4. Even though we have 3 2nd round picks at end(whoo hoo!) we need a true impact guy. You know, Schobel could actually slide over to the left side with Kelsay providing relief at both spots. See ya Denny. In free agency: DE and an Olineman. Draft: Another Olineman with our highest pick wherever it ends up being. After that I don't even care.
  5. No doubt Bill. I can't even stand looking at Williams or Gilbride. Mike at least looks the part.
  6. I mostly agree Steve. Player wise, he couldn't have done much more. Not many of us expected greatness from the Oline, but didn't think it would be this bad either. While I think Mularky will be considered a good coach in the future, a known commodity probably could have brought a little more immediate success. More discipline and Henry would probably lost some playing time for all his missed blitz pickups. Yeah I know, McGahee missed one too but he is usually solid in this area. This is unacceptable. You don't want to point fingers but I would call a guy out if it meant him pulling his head out of his a**.
  7. Good post Mark. It looks like a way smaller hit than I originally thought if we lose Williams and Jennings. The thing is, we only resigned Edwards to a one year deal and he is a solid 3rd down tackle. Who knows, Williams may still stay at a reasonable price as he has had a quiet year so far. He stops the run well, but doesn't offer much else. As usual, get ready for more address the Oline and pass rusher posts. Deal with it.
  8. 1. Split Henry and McGahee 50-50 2. Evans always the 2nd reciever but play a little more 3 reciever sets 3. Euhus 1st TE and Campbell 2nd 4. During the bye I would have shuffled the line like this: Jennings, Villarial, Teague, Williams, and Price. 5. Practice wise concentrate on blitz pickups by RB's and TE's along with crisper looking draw plays(we make it look obvious) with a little more play action. This is the short response as it is late and I don't feel like going "barry brady" right now.
  9. On an earlier post I said the best we can hope for is a 2nd and 4th, and I stand firm. Just a 2nd is the most likely.
  10. Maybe we are taking the wrong aproach here guys. If the e-mails are not working we could take the draft room hostage and force them to upgrade the line.
  11. I know it isn't realistic which is why I'd like to know who the others are. Whether TD sees this or not we need another end. I would settle for a big time pass rushing tacke though.
  12. Time will tell fellas but I also think he is too short to be on the field full time. He does seem to have a nose for the ball Bart which is why I do think he will develope into an outstanding nickle back. He is also a liability vs. the deep ball, so far...............
  13. I like the kid like most but the best he will be is a very good nickle back who also is a good kick returner. He isn't fast enough to be on the field full time. I do agree that he is a good athlete and I like how he plays but he should never be a starter.
  14. I noticed he can pull very well Bill, but he'll probably be gone unless we sucker someone into trading for Henry. I'm thinking the best we can do is a 2nd and 4th for Henry and we maybe could package our way into the late teens early 20's. I want a pass rusher in free agency, another Olineman in free agency, and another Olineman with our highest pick.
  15. Money. While on this subject, who are the free agent ends? The Jets can't keep both Ellis and Abraham, and Darren Howard in NO is a free agent. Who else is gonna be on the market? I wonder if Donahoe is still "fine" with our DE's.?
  16. Agreed. Euhus looks smooth and I eat crow on him as I did not like the pick. His blocking has been better than I expected as well.
  17. I'm not putting McNally down at all. In the end it's the players. Like So-Cal said, people overrated the talent on the line. Also, replying on with what BuffaloDenny said, it's BS if McNally has been handcuffed in not allowing the move to guard by Williams. Ruin cohessiveness? What cohessiveness?
  18. It just goes to show you can't make chicken soup out of chicken ****.
  19. Like I said we need to target DE in free agency and an Olineman and get another Olineman in the draft.
  20. I would like to add that I am a Travis Henry fan. The guy has guts. Like I said though, I have to look at the big picture. The only thing keeping me from making a trade right now is a proven back up/complimentary RB to play behind McGahee.
  21. True but looking at the big picture it's McGahee time. We need a 1st round pick next year very bad. The thing is, could we even get one?
  22. I'll go with McGahee. He adds better pass protection and another recieving threat. Might be time to unload Henry soon if the price is right. I don't care what the players think, we need to make a move. I like Euhas getting more playing time. He looks smooth.
  23. Hopefully he doesn't resign with the Jets. The only others I can think of are Shaun Ellis and Darren Howard who both will command far more than they are worth.
  24. The only time Reed should play is in 3 and 4 reciever sets. Rotating Evans and Reed makes us too predictable.
