This is a good solid move. Like the fact that he has remained relativly injury free which would be nice as we seem to have an abundance of injuies that always seem to hit each year!!!

How's it gonna shake out? Byrd or Landry?
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it will come down to Byrd and Searcy maning the backend and drafting a younger and bigger safety to backup and fill in when needed to. Just my 2 cents. -
Russ Brandon at the Senior Bowl
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Jeff Wright's Mullet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he just is excited about new role and is taking this thing seriuosly and wants to learn as much as he can from a scouts viewpoint and be thier to offer his support to the coach and gm tandom. Think it is a good idea. Would rather have him there trying than sitting in his office playing with that desk toy that you let go of one silver ball and it slams into the other ones continuosly. I am liking that fact that he isn't leaving a stone unturned.!! -

Bills hire Doug Marrone to be Head Coach
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the hire. I think coming from the college ranks that he would be able to get the respect from the players because he played and coached in the nfl as apposed to no nfl exp. such as chip kelly. Not saying he will be better but will win the locker room over easier, though I am hoping he is better. The curious part is who are gonna be the cordinators. Did they get the feel that some of the interviewees might be willing to coach or does marrone have a some good ones lined up already, maybe some guys from the saints? -
I agree! He has got a lot of confidence and direction which is something this team sorely needs!! I am liking him more and more.

Russ Brandon named President/CEO
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Wagon Circler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope that this non-stop inuendo stops sometime, it is really wearing me out. One way oranother get it over with. I'm sure that most of these are genuine and mean well but man my keeps spinning and dont know what is real, possible or b.s. anymore. But still holding out hope that it will come true and something positve for our new owners does come sooner before ralph does pass and then it becomes a free for all and the possiblity of relocation pops up! -

Kind of have lean towards Zimmer the dc from Cinci. Though Lovie would be solid and upgrade choice as well!!

Players Who Deserve Recognition

I liked Bradham today and was very pleased with Searcy as the year went on as well. As a whole the offensive line played well this year despite all the injuries and missed time by the regs,! -
Blake Bortles: QB prospect watch
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in College Football
Not really because when he went there, there was another freshman qb they brought in and was pretty good but he kept saying he wasn't afreaid of the competition and that all he wanted was a fair shot. He was redshirted his first year and then last year replaced this guy at the end of year and now has taken over and improved each game forward! Also is a good and smart stdent!! -
Blake Bortles: QB prospect watch
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in College Football
He is a very good Qb. Have known him since he was 6yrs old. Am very good friends with his dad and have seen him play many times. Tough as nails and has a cannon for an arm. Extremely confident andcool under pressure. Is a gym rat and watches film all the time. Will be a good one and would be awesome to have him in our red white and blue!! -
Drive a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 Laramie, 130K miles and still drives and rides great. Would get another ram in an instant if i needed to. Engine is the 5.7L hemi and runs strong and awesome. My wife drives a 2002 Durango and both are happy with that also!!

1. Widen the field by 5 yards eachside. Players are to big and fast and miss the old days of a toss sweep. Plus might help in some injury prevention. 2. Increase game day roster by three players so there might less chance of having your stars have to play special teams and possibly risk injury, ala Gronkowski. 3. Use that thing that holds the ball for practicing field goals into a net mandatory for kickoffs to stop the wind blowing off twice before they kick crap!

Refs shame on them
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Frustrated with penalties as well. Really more annoyed that their were seemingly many more "questionable" flags that were thrown in our direction but don't seem to remember a single one of the questionable nature against the pats. Not saying that we lost due to the calls but their were a few calls that went against us that had some large ramifications. Was nice to hear Fouts even comment on several of the bad calls which made me feel not as much a homer and wanting a call. Either way it was a tremendously roller coaster game of emotions that ended unfortunatly like many have for us fans recently!!! I appreciate the players efforts and continuous in not backing down! Someday it will turn around it just has too!! -
Johnson and Urbik could be back this week
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good news, although the fill ins(Reinhart) did well it will be nice to get back on of our maulers up front. Think Johnsons return will be a huge blessing as the Titans I'm sure will look to run a lot and the more we can rotate some frsh legs in and out the better. Just my 2cents. -
It would be sweet if Barnett calls them and says that he'll take the kid and put him under his wing and make him his shadow and then we use the 7th rounder on him if still there!

From Don banks with SI. " I love that defense the Bills are building for themselves. Between last year's first-round pick, defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, this year's free-agent additions, defensive ends Mario Williams and Mark Anderson, and this year's No. 10 pick, South Carolina cornerback Stephon Gilmore, Buffalo has the guts of a good, young D in place. The Bills still need more offense to fully compete in the AFC East, but it's easy to see the wisdom of their blueprint on defense. Get pass rushers and cover men, and try like heck to stop that vaunted Tom Brady-led Patriots passing game." Read more: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/writers/don_banks/04/26/2012.nfl.draft.first.round/index.html#ixzz1tFZFxBGj The pick may not at all be flashy but it makes complete sense and should pay dividends rather quickly. Looking forward to the rest of the proceedings in the next two days.

Kellen Moore, Boise State
BigdaddyinOrlando replied to rick in hartford's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would love to be able to get a young QB and have him here for a little bit have him fill in for a game or two and produce well but then trade him during that off sesson while his name is hot and then in turn use that high pick or package tat pick and move up to grab the highly touted QB in that years draft. Ala NE with Cassel, Jags to us for Rob Johnson.
