The patriots are more then likely a team that huddles closer in the face of adversity. They aren't going to fold like a house of cards. they will still be tough. I really don't think that Deon Branch being there or not willl spell the end of the patriots. You might want to look in other areas. A poor secondary An aged Linebacker crew. Poor running backs. One game Tom Brady threw 30 times in a preseason game. I would expect it from a team like the Bills to get our QB more practice but not Tom Brady. These are the reasons I think the Bills will win next sunday not because of a contract dispute. Please don't cheapen our chances with a piss poor arguement.

Good, and some bad news for Bills in HD

I work in the TV industry Directv, Inc. in particular. There is a very valid reason for it it is called Sattelites in space. A sattelite can only broadcast so much before it's capacity is maxed. Sattelites take years to make and cost billions of dollars. This is your #1 reason as to why all channels are not broadcast in HD. -
I can't wait until the Opener. With JP winning the competition it just makes it all the more exciting. Personally i think JP gives us the best chance to win over the others experience or not. I wouldn't be able to stand a year of check downs with the other two QB's. I like QB's that roll the dice like a Farve or a Manning and even Brady to an extent. I hope within the first few games JP leads a game winning drive. I feel that doing that will earn him the respect of his teammates the most. I would just love to win the first 3 games and be #1 in the division. Hey it could happen.

Bengals may be the best in the AFC....

We would have done the same to the packers. -
Does Jp deserve to be the starting Qb NOW?
kota replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes he bounces back from mistakes now instead of carrying it with him. Sign of a vetran QB. He should start for like 10 more years. -
That is all. Like my analysis?

Peerless hasn't just been missing from the offense
kota replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh no a receiver who can't read. DOOMED -
He was sick or something he was vomiting on the sideslines. He said himself he didn't eat before the game. He was tired. He didn't have any carbs.

Lets go JP at the 40 yard line time to score.

Yes JP needs to prove that he can play but he has to have the backing of his teammates. It is a mind game for a young QB. He didn't ask for the QB job last year they handed it to him. Of course he is going to take on the challenge. No football player wants to sit the bench but yet several of the veterans didn't like it and pretty much ruined JP's year. Eric Moulds the #1 receiver obviously didn't like the choice and he didn't get along with JP. Eric didn't like the coaches decision and instead of just making the best of the situation and working extra hard with JP he decided to be a dork about it. Hate the Coach's decision all you want but don't hate the guy picked. It ruins team chemistry. I can understand why Eric Moulds didn't like the decision he is getting old and wants to win but common Kelly Holcomb isn't the answer. Everyone has to see the talent that JP has. Arm Strength, Mobility, works hard, etc... The mental side of the game ruins most NFL players and if you don't give a young guy some support he will fail. Palmer had all kinds of support from the players in Cinncinati. Rivers has support of his team. Palmer has proven what kind of QB he can be. Rivers could have a big year this year. Dick Jauron played it right with the QB competition. You don't side with any of the players split the time show the team you mean business. Don't support one guy over the other and let the players decide. JP has outplayed the other two. He has made his mistakes all of which can be corrected. Short hopping passes is a mechanics thing that will only get corrected with repetition. Eventually it will become 2nd nature and he will just fire the ball and not think about it. JP seems to always through well on the run. By that time all thought it out of it because your running for your life. It only takes time.

I have read a few things these past few days that lead me to believe that the offense is starting to rally around JP Losman. First the whole story about JP playing chess with his center. It's good to see that JP is bonding with his teammates off the football field. Also, yesterday it was noted that after practice JP was working on his throws with the receivers. Peerless, Lee Evans, Josh Reed, and even Willis stayed behind to help him out. JP works on his throws alot after practice but it is usually with the 4th and 5th stringers. This is the first time i have heard these guys who will probabaly all be on the starting offense work out with him. Not sure how it went down either JP asked for their help or they offered. Either way it is showing that the offense is rallying behind him. This shows that with him being named the frontrunner that he has finally won the respect of his teammates. This also might be a sign of JP's leadership. Bottom line is that JP needs his offense and even the defense to believe he can get the job done in order to win.

If you don't see improvement in 3 weeks time then worry. Until then shhhhhhh.

Choose a new team please. I actually like what he has done so far. As far as Whitner he will be fine. Probably won't start game one but by misseason he will be.

It's a common procedure to remove the toenails on people who get ingrown toenails. -
What's your definition of "character guy"??
kota replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes, look at the Sabres. I don't see a big name Hockey player in the mix. Just a bunch of guys who want to play and win. High character guys jell together well. -
Pat Kirwan on Matt Leinart entering in 2005 Draft
kota replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK so i guess someone didn't actually read what i said. LEINHART WOULDN"T HAVE EVEN BEEN TAKEN IN THE FIRST 5 ROUNDS OF 2005 BECAUSE HE WAS HURT. So he wouldn't have gotten Alex Smith money. He had a better chance of going in the top 5 this year then last. Yes it didn't work out but he played it right. -
He said he would love to get the sports reporters making the claim that Matt Leinhart regrets not entering the 2005 draft. He said he would love to get them on the air so he could blow them up. Matt Leinhart had a sports Hernia and injured Elbow. He wasn't even going to workout until he healed. His father also called 6 NFL GM's and asked if his son would be the first overall pick in 2005. All 6 said no and that he wasn't even in the top 5. I saw an article on this earlier with quotes from Leinhart and he said he had no regrets his elbow was injured. Just further proof these sports reports write from hip and have no facts to backup their claims.

Pat Kirwan on Sirius evaluated the Bills Draft
kota replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kirwan says you draft to beat the guys in your division. Whitner is a guy who will help against the Patriots passing attack. They never beat us by running the ball it is always through the air. yes Kirwan is arrogant but he never fails to look at something from all angles which most sports talk guys fail to do. -
Marv wanted to take DT Williams in the 4th
kota replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Marv could have ignored his employee's and completely alienated them in the process. It is obvious they all wanted the players but when was the question. Better to get the people everyone wants imo. -
Pat Kirwan on Sirius evaluated the Bills Draft
kota replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ashton Youboty was interviewed by Pat Kirwan. Hrm 2 former teammates in college on the same NFL team. I like that. Team Chemistry is a must. -
He didn't bash the bills once. He said that there were 3 corner/safety players in the draft. Huff, Whitner, and Sims who went to the Dolphins. All 3 were gone by the 15th round. He said that it was interesting that 2 teams in the AFC east went for this type of player. He said it was to beat NEW ENGLAND and win the division. NE has large WR's for TE's and slot receivers which Whitner can Cover. He says that when Whitner makes a play on a NE TE or slot WR it will all be forgotten. He also said that if you look at the draft there wasn't a team that would have traded up between picks 9 and 15 and still allow Buffalo to take Whitner even with Leinhart still available. So the Bills take the guy who they want and move on. He said that the Mccargo Pick was more contravarsial. He said that a Bunkley Griffin might have been a better combo but it is all Hindsight. Take a DT like Bunkley who is a good talent and hope that the Corner like Cedric Griffin would work out. Or you could go with a Whitner Mccargo combo which is the same thing but reversed. It is obvious what the Bills wanted so they got it. He said that Whitner was moving up quickly on all draft boards out there so the pick didn't suprise him. Pat Kirwan is very objective and fair on his assetments. His cohosts tend to go off the deep end but Kirwan always plays devils advocate and looks at it from a GM point of view since his cohosts are typically recent former NFL players who don't know anything on how the front office works. Good conversation imo.

Every player in the draft has the potential to be a Star in the NFL or they wouldn't even be considered for the draft. We have all seen late rounders become Stars and first round busts. I would rather have the bills pick players who aren't considered the best then the hyped up guys. When people think they are the sh-- they could fall flat on their face. It happens all the time. If the bills had picked Huff everyone would have been happy. To be honest i don't see the difference between the two guys. Just the school they went to IMO. Ngata and Bunkley both have character problems from what i hear. Ngata and his motivation and Bunkley is said to be a one hit wonder. With Marv Levy at the helm I don't care who he picked. He was part of the team that caused us to become the fans we are. We all know Ralph trusts him completely and wouldn't argue with him. I think all the draft guru's will be put to shame this year.

NFL Network on Sirius keeps saying it's a 1 year deal.
