Stroud is eating double teams so it allows Kyle to make more plays. By the end of the season STroud won't be double teamed as much because they will be shifting to Kyle. It's a game of chess.

You guys don't understand. The Bills would have signed Marlon McCree in the offseason if he hadn't chosen Denver over Buffalo. Marlon McCree is the starting SS for the Broncoes. Marlon's play put John Lynch on the bench and eventually to Free Agency. The Bills want Donte Whitner at FS because it gets him away from being the run stopper. Donte is to much of a talent to waste at the SS position. Since Scott has shown something the Bills have made the move. Does anyone think it is coincidence that the #1 ranked passing attack in the NFL had a piss poor day with not much pass rush? I think it is because of Donte Whitner. Ko Simpson isn't a bad player it's just that Donte is better. Since the Bills think they have found someone to play SS in place of Whitner they made the move. Ko cannot play SS due to his size.

Marshawn Lynch isn't slow. It's the OL. If Lendale White or Steven Jackson can have 80 yard touchdown runs Marshawn Lynch can. There have been 3-4 long run plays called back due to holding which is an indication that the line is struggling.

People take issue with Whitner because he doesn't have many interceptions and didn't record his first sack until this year against the RAMS. That is why this debate is still going on. If Whitner was moved to FS i think his numbers would be differently but unfortunately that hasn't happened due to personal issues. The difference between Trent and JP is pocket pressence. Trent can feel the backside rush and he always steps into the pocket. JP is more inclined to either stand there and get sacked or try to escape the pocket. Throw in Trent's Quick release (Farvish if you ask me) and you have a QB.
