The Adrian Wilson Cruise missile strike
kota replied to Billistic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If i remember correctly the coverage the Bills had didn't account for a blitzing safety. This is why he came through free. Trent should have recognized this and audibled. If he couldn't audible he should have called a timeout. -
Why Trent Edwards will lead and Terrell Owens will follow

It's a waste of time to even make statements like this. None of us here have any idea on what the dynamics of the locker room are. -
I am convinced Buffalo had its best draft in 25 years
kota replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills probably drafted based upon best player available. You can never have enough playmakers which Jarius appears to be. If you look at any of the recent superbowl winning teams they stock up on players. -
Can special teams still dominate?
kota replied to DIE HARD 1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bobby April should be the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills. He is creative and the top in his field. He might not be the sexy offensive/defensive coordinator but I think he would get the job done. -
Some people are never happy. People cry when people are signed early or late. It never fails. Please go outside and see the sunshine.

The whole situation seems weird to me. Shot 4 times two to the chest two to the head. Sounds like a execution to me.

Sounds like you are insecure about the relationship and looking for a way out. Anyone who dates a hot girl needs to understand that guys will always try to hit on her or check her out no matter who is on her arm. It's the nature of the game. If you feel your relationship is getting stale or boring it's up to you to spice it up. She is the hot girl and could find a new guy within a day if she really wanted to. IF she has become more flirty with others around you recently I would be worried. It probably means you are not paying enough attention to her. You don't have to do much to keep her interested. Try new things in the bedroom, give her a foot massage, do something you hate but she loves, etc.... The key is to do more without looking like you are trying to do more.

You ever worn a player's jersey from another NFL team?
kota replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I lost a bet and had to wear a Steeler jersey. Troy Polomalu or something. -
Did anyone here actually think he would start game 1? I didn't. He has alot to learn especially in the blocking arena. The coaches said that they can teach someone to block if they are willing to put their head down. They have to be a willing blocker. If he isn't committed to doing this he will never be a good blocker. Plus he is alittle light for the NFL but they were supposed to be working on that. I like Nelson he seems like a smart driven young man. I think and hope that with enough effort he can become a every down player. I think the Bills are hoping this as well. It may take a year or two to figure out if that is in his future. Right now the best option is to take his strengths as a player right now to get him on the field which is probably why he is working with the WR's. I know he is just a rookie but going 3 or 4 WR's and nelson is a mismatch for for most teams in the NFL. Nelson should be able to out run LB's and Safety's assuming he can get seperation.

The Bills need to go to a 3-4 Defense already.

Donte's comment about the D-line coach and how the players like him is telling. Coaches that yell to get their point across get to a point where they just yell for the hell of it. People will tune them out. That's what happened to gruden.

Typical T.O. tactics: "I'll be the scapegoat."
kota replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TO is the scapegoat isn't he? If the story is true about Romo why is it TO's fault that he is more of a leader than Romo? There is always a top dog in a pack of wolves and if Romo cannot assert himself enough to become the top dog than that is a Tony Romo issue not a TO issue. I would go so far to say that on every team TO has been on before the Bills there wasn't a true offensive leader. People will say "what about Mcnabb?" and i will make the same statement. I don't think Mcnabb is much of a leader. When he had his very public fight with TO through the media it became very apparent that Mcnabb is a baby. I am not so sure if the Bills have a real leader either. There aren't any fiery people on the sidelines. I miss the days of Jim Kelly, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, Darryl Talley. They were a bunch of wolves on the sidelines and it showed on the field. TO is a headcase i don't think anyone will deny that. I personally think he is somewhat like a woman and just wants to be heard. If anything Jauron is very good at listening to his players which is why they love him so much. Trent seems to be leaning on TO's experience and is working well with him so far. It remains to be seen what happens when Trent misses a wide open TO on the field. I for one am very happy that TO is on the Bills. He's 36 years old and still a top 5 WR in the league in my opinion. The bottom line is that the Bills need something on the sideline. Jauron is a zombie and it filters down to the rest of the team. TO will bring something extra to the team and if he can rile up some of our players on gameday to play better than i am all for it. Besides TO is always made out to be some kind of one man wrecking crew. I just don't buy it. -
Here is the chat if you are interested. http://chat.nfl.com/front/archived_chat/317

He can still be traded but not many teams have the money to pay 16million for one year. Plus i heard he was looking for Hayensworth money.
-
The Cleveland game was bad in terms of INT"s but it did show that Trent was able to shake it off. He played better later in the game and the Bills had a chance to win it.

God here you guys go again. TRENT EDWARDS DOESN'T HAVE ARM STRENGTH PROBLEMS. Go watch highlight tape. Pennington is a frickin noodle arm. Here is a video. Go to the 36 second mark and watch the throw. He threw it 40 yards with not much arm to laser it in to Lee Evans. That is a very hard throw to do. Same Video at the 1:20 Mark he throws it 60 yards with not much air on it. The ball was still in the camera view. Same video 1:41 mark he almost overthrows Roscoe Parrish and he had a guy climbing on his back. It was a 50 yard pass or so. You guys think that because he isn't throwing 80 yard downfield TD's that he doesn't have arm strength. I bet you 100 dollars he can throw that far but guess what he will never do it in a game because it almost never happens. I challenge you guys to pick any QB you want. I will find a highlight tape and show you that nobody is throwing farther than Trent in a football game. You guys are fooled by his release. It is very fast compared to someone like losman who has full body windup when he throws the long ball. Trent Edwards doesn't have to do that due to his compact release.

So, will Bruuuuuce get suspended by Goodell for the induction?
kota replied to Lv-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Goodell Sucks who cares. -
All coaches are broken records in these interviews. They are asked the same questions on every radio, tv appearance and interview they do. You saw it in Greggo, Mularkey, and now DJ. I don't understand why you guys get all upset about it.
-
LOl this is funny. I feel bad for TO. HOuse hunting is somewhat stressful.
-
Didn't he also get 2 years house arrest and his license banned for life?
-
AP hands down especially if they get Farve. Why? Because AP does very well in Fantasy football with crappy QB's. Farve at 40 years of age is better than Tavaras Jackson and Sage RosenFels combined hands down. Last year i was in a 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 Kicker, 1 Defense Starter League. It was pretty fun i did it with some guys at work. I came in 2nd overall and won 300 bucks. I picked 3rd last year overall. Everyone but one person went RB in the first round last year. That person picked Brady LOL. Anyway, in this type of league you need 2 solid RB's. If you don't you will be in trouble. I had Westbrook and Thomas Jones last year. They did very well for me. I wouldn't pick them again this year however, Westbrook is hurt and Thomas Jones lost Farve for a Rookie QB. It really depends on where you pick in the draft but i think AP, Forte, and Turner will be top 3 picks in alot of leagues.

I find it funny how people get upset over the talk of Farve. It's easy to ignore.

Kicker Dan Urrego - Anyone know how he has performed in OTA's?
kota replied to ChasBB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lindell is a good kicker one of the best in the league. They won't get rid of him. I remember when he was the butt of all jokes here. Times have changed since he changed things up 3-4 years ago. He has been way more consistent. -
He is going to get alot of ribbing by people from this. Now that the evidence has presented itself and if Roger Goddell actually cares about hte NFL shield so much he should make a statement in defense of Corey Mcintyre.
-
They could be resting him. They could be letting the other guys get reps since he is still suspended for 3 games. He could be hurt as well. Marshawn wasn't arrested over the weekend.
