Positive comments about the Buffalo Bills
kota replied to BillsfaninFl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they have alot of talent on this team but a coaching staff that doesn't know how to mold it into a team. WE have one of the better Secondary's when healthy. -
Bills-Falcons Official Game Thread
kota replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They both look pretty good. -
I hope Brian Brohm goes out and lights it up despite his coaching.
-
I think he should go back to jail for those comments alone.
-
If he becomes HC i hope he gets a different Offensive coordinator.

So one owner is learning to butt out...
kota replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am glad ICE had decided to post again. I was missing his constant negativity. Hate to break it to you but Snyder had a GM who he forced to resign so he could get Bruce Allen. Allen has a better track record. -
Fired for running a fantasy football league
kota replied to KD in CA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
These people are working at a financial institution. Companies like that have very specific rules on gambling. Fantasy Football is a form of gambling which is why they got fired. -
Aaron Maybin listed as OLB in Pro Bowl Ballot
kota replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just find it funny that some IT guy who isn't a coach thought of Aaron Maybin and was like "OUTSIDE LINEBACKER". -
It's a numbers game. Hardy and Ellis don't play special teams. The Bills have 7 receivers on the roster and 4 DE's. Spencer JOhnson can play DE as well.

hahaha maybe they know something the Bills Coaching staff doesn't.

Do people still think Desean Jackson is "too small"?
kota replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Desean is good. He also trained with the greatest Wide REceiver to ever play the game, Jerry Rice. Philidephia and Buffalo are leagues apart in terms of QB and Oline Talent. Hell we gave away our LT to them. -
Went to the game. Their coach is a moron.

Chambers went from a STarter on the Chargers to the bench to being cut due to his drops. -
Can the Bills retire the toss sweep play? We see it every game and it averages a 1 yard gain. I am sitting on my couch at home and i just called the Toss sWeep audible. It's one damn yard they need. Just do a simple up the middle play and move the chains. This is why the Bills suck so bad on 3rd downs. They out think themselves.

I am interested in him as well. He floudered in Greenbay where Mccarthy is a QB guru. They liked him enough to try and hide him on their practice squad. They even matched the Bills Offer. That says something at least. He's got the arm and Size to be a NFL QB. If he can't grasp the mental part which he reportedly had issues with then he will be a journeyman QB. The Bills seem impressed with him but that doesn't say much given their track record with QB's. Holcomb, JP, Trent, Fitz have all been terrible.

AFter watching Fewell's press conference yesterday i realize that Maybin was a waste of a pick. It has nothing to do with his ability. The Bills drafted him to play Left End. They tried to trade Kelsey in the offseason. They realize after getting him that he is a natural Right End which has a pro bowl player on that side. Someone didn't do their homework.

I bet this is true because it makes sense. The JacksonVille fan base is pathetic. Tebow is big in florida. It only makes sense that he Jaguars would draft him early in hopes of getting more ticket sales.

What do they mean by intangibles?
kota replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No need for flames it's a good question. -
yes moving up a few spots in the draft will make all the difference. LOL it won't give us more draft picks.

Whitner was playing the Nickle CB spot due to injury. It isn't his normal position. He isn't a CB he is a Safety. People complaining about his coverage last night need to understand that isn't his normal position. The Bills defensively are moving players between positions to much. I don't understand why Bryan Scott is playing LB. Nic Harris was Ellison's backup and he should be playing. It doesn't make much sense to move people around to different positions mid way through the season. Why not just let their backups play. Their Backups are at least used to the position.

How NOT to build a small market, cold weather team
kota replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hate it when people make these kinds of post. "Something we can all agree on". Get off your high horse. Nothing you said was ground breaking. -
our offense is anything but complex.

The Bills SERIOUSLY need to be careful on this one!
kota replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't be suprised if Brohm was the starting QB next year. it's obvious that Green Bay didn't want to give him up since they matched Buffalo's offer. I think that means alot even if he was on the practice squad. Green Bay's Head coach has done wonders with Aaron Rodgers. I like TO on the team but he is 35. Him starting prevents STevie Johnson and James Hardy from getting on the field. I am all for a 3-4 defense. -
You can't even draw this comparison. yes they both had run ins with the law and then it ends there. Benson's is lazy and somewhat of a kitty. He drew critizism from Cinncinati from not playing hurt with his injury. he is now crying that Larry Johnson was signed. They are the exact same issues he had in Chicago.

Fewell is going to complicate the coaching search big time
kota replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i still want Shanahan or Cowher. If neither can be had then Perry Fewell is a good choice for a HC. He is just as good as any other cordinator HC candidate out there. What i like about Perry is that he believes his players can make plays. It isn't taking a chance or rolling the dice. It's believing that you have NFL caliber players who should make plays. I have watched DJ make stupid decisions where you can hear the collective sigh from the players or a massive slump in the shoulders. He drained all emotion out of the players. DJ is a Sloth Demon. The best play of the game was the field goal that Ryan made. It was outside of his career long but Perry had him kick it. It put the Bills up by 3 points but that wasn't the best part. The best part was how the defense came out and played. The pass rush was there forcing Henne to make bad decisions. He threw a pick which led to a TO touchdown. It isn't taking chances it's believeing in your players. Something Perry understands and DJ will never figure out even on the golf course. Anyone who plays golf knows there is alot of time to think when you play.
