I have heard alot of stories about Thurman. I actually know they are true. He used to get in fights with his now wife and she would take off. If she wasn't around Thurman would be a mess. Wouldn't eat sleep, practice and he would drink. The Bills had a guy go find his wife everytime this happened and would bring her back to him. Thurman has his demons like everyone. If Thurman wants to say things about the Bills he should have a column like Kelly does. On the Flip side Marshawn should take the heat that he created and rush for 1500 yards to prove that he isn't the punk people think he is.

JP lost his confidense when they drafted Trent Edwards. i don't think he handled it well. He was the guy and then had to look over his shoulder. he crumbled in my opinion. Given another opportunity he might do well.

I love thurman Thomas always have. I was and is my favorite football player of all time. However, I don't blame Marshawn for snubbing him. I love the fact that Jim Kelly, Thurman, etc... stick around and still love the Bills but bashing current players is uncalled for. He wouldn't have liked it if it happened to him.

I really don't view the pick as a waste. They got a guy that can play RB or line up in the slot. He can play the wildcat plays as well. He can be on the field on any down. His return ability just adds to it. It wasn't a waste in terms of talent and it wasn't a waste for the Bills. They have two good RB's. One of them is 30 and the other one is one infraction away from getting a 8 game suspension. The Bills could have gotten Clausen or Bulaga, or Andre Davis at 9 but alot of teams weren't comfortable with them as well which is why they all slipped in the draft. I am very happy with the draft. They created depth at alot of positions which adds competition. They have stacked positions for the future. They also got all high character guys with strong work ethics. This team will be differen thtis year. WE could make the playoffs if one of the QB's manages to take the Reins and runs with it.

God..... Where to begin in all of this. I don't understand the Bill Parcells genius. I really don't. Yes he helped the Dolphins but anyone could after they drafted Ted Ginn Jr in the first round a year prior. Bill Parcells brought in a few average players to fill in holes in their roster. He made a few trades with Dallas who he is in the process of replacing or has replaced already. You need to understand that most of the free agents this year are restricted. this means you have to give up draft picks for them. This is something the Bills couldn't afford. Why trade away your draft picks for players you are going to get rid of in a year or 2 anyway? It's self defeating. Nix has done wonders for the Bills already. it will show up on the field in my opinion. The way they went about FA and the draft is the complete opposite of years past. Let me show you what Nix has done exactly. 1) Signed two FA with 3-4 defense experience at key positions. Meaning the DL and LB core. 2) Drafted Spiller who is a Play maker which the Bills desperately need. He drafted a guy who is most likely a sure fire star in this league. Picking the best player available is very important in the 1st round. You can't reach for LT's or QB's and miss. 3) Drafted for Depth across Both OL and DL. He has guys to replace the current starters in year or so. 4) Drafted for Depth in the Linebackers. More players to replace Kawika and Davis in a year or two. the single most important thing he has done is create competion across the entire football team. PLayers have to compete for their jobs now.

Matt Roth -- Rumored to be unhappy not up for trade. D'Qwell Jackson -- I like the LB's we have now. John Henderson -- Old lost a step. Work habit issues. JaMarcus Russell -- Sorry don't want a 300 pound TE. Sorry you knowledge of football is terrible. You don't think Kyle Williams can play NT but you think John Henderson can? LOL ok.

Has Donte been given a chance to shine? Donte has been in the league 3-4 years and played DB, FS, and SS pending on the injury report. Instead of letting backups play when a player goes down DJ and company just had players change positions. Good plan. Give a guy 1 week of practice ta different position instead of having the backup play who has been playing that position the whole year. By doing this DJ created two holes in his defense by putting a backup in Donte's spot and then having him switch positions and have a week of practice before the game. Donte is a good player how good can he be is to be determined. If you can stop the run and get pressure on the QB Donte's INT and Sack totals will go up.

Good post. I don't understand the hate towards Whitner either. People want him to be Troy P or Ed Reed. He isn't. He is a good player. He doesn't have alot of sacks or INT's but he is solid against the run. The guy has played Corner, SS, and FS in his short career. with all the craziness in the Front Office and with Dick Jauron everyone on the team gets a free pass in my opinion.

This is true. The Bills have added depth at alot of positions. Positions where their wasn't much competition in years past. this is one thing that i really like about Nix and Gailey. Force the vets no matter their contracts to compete. If the vets don't have young guys pushing them they can get lazy. Poz, Kawika, Stroud, Kelsey are all going to have to justify staying in the starting lineup.

Alot of the people did this to protest the revote. Alot of the reporters thought it was a knee jerk reaction. AP never had anything in the stipulations about league violations. The defense ends up learning the offense and they will begin to cheat. I don't think it's coincidence that on day 3 the defense starts to take over.

People don't understand Nicknames. A nickname isn't something you just think up and give someone. Nicknames are generally given by accident because they are catchy and used in a normal conversation.

Why do people get upset abou these two blowhards? Lombardi is a former GM who can't find a job in that capacity anymore. Faulk is a former player only there because he is a popular player among fans.

This is why i love how Buddy Nix drafted this year. he didn't go with Need in the 1st round. He went with a guy who is going to be a playmaker in the NFL. You can't miss on the 1st round pick. Picking a lineman is somewhat risky if you ask me.
