I can fill in for him. Reggie white was good and HOF status but Bruce was better. Reggie played LDE in a 4-3. Bruce played RDE in a 3-4 and met double/triple teams on most plays.

It's been over 15 years since the last time i have visited Training camp. It's alot different than Fredonia. All in all it was a good experience. The worst part was waiting for the Bus to get back to my car. I should have paid 15 bucks to park in someone's lawn near the college. Anyway onto Football. I was alittle disappointed to not see the team in pads tonight. I know they did this due to the game on Friday. -Edwards will be the #1 QB on opening day. Brohm didn't get any reps with any of the units but based upon Mechanics alone Edwards has the best. He was the most accurate in all the drills. His throws fluttered the least. HE made strong quick throws in the short game. -All QB's are throwing behind the receivers. I see alot of over the middle throws, someone is going to get killed. -In red zone work Lee Evans made a great move to the inside on a quick slant. Edwards was right on target. Evans dropped it. I think the DB might have punched it out. -Edwards looked pretty good tonight. He is interacting with alot of people. Even on passing drills each time he was up he would turn to the guy he is about to throw to and say something. When he wasn't taking snaps he is standing next to Gailey the whole time. He would listen to the play calls in his helmet. -Edwards threw a nice pass to score a TD to Steve Johnson. It was in the middle back end of the end zone. He throw a strike over a LB. It was alittle behind the receiver but only Steve had a opportunity to catch the ball. ONce the play was done Edwards stepped out. He immediately went and did high fives with everyone who came out iwth him. Gailey even wandered over and said something to him. I assume it was only praise. -Lynch, Jackson and Spiller all looked good tonight. They all caught the ball well. It appears that Lynch will be a 3rd down power running back. He was in there on 3rd and 1, 3rd and 3 type situations. Jackson appears to still be the starter but he isn't getting more reps than Lynch at this point. I almost think Lynch is getting more. Spiller come in and out based upon yardage and down. He appears to be a situational back. Spiller looks very fluid on the field. He has great vision and hits the hole fast. -I really like the play calling. Lots of slants in the red zone. Lots of two back sets with Marshawn and Fred Jackson. Defensively i didn't watch them much. The secondardary at times would lock down the receivers and Trent was forced to hang onto the ball to long. There were a few would be sacks because of it. The line could not hold down the DL for more than 3 seconds. This might due to the lack of pads. I tend to think no pads sets the oline at a disadvantage. -Brian Moorman is a fan favorite. I got a laugh when at the start of practice. He started to jog around the field and fans would yell/cheeer him on. It's somewhat said that the punting/kicking game is the only thing worth cheering for the last few years. Brian appeared to do it on purpose. He also booted a 75 yard punt in the air tonight. He got alot of cheers for it. -Mckevin appears to be out of hte running on kick returns unless an injury occurs. Spiller was back there the whole time. Roscoe is the punt returner. Lee Evans #1, Steve Johnson #2, Roscoe #3, David Nelson #4 Can't wait for the game on Friday. I hope the first string Offense scores a TD. I think it will do wonders in confidence for the players and the fans alike.

Would you enjoy Football playing for Jauron knowing you will probably lose? If you know you are going to lose due to poor coaching you are just collecting a paycheck. Then it doesn't become fun at all. I heard an interview yesterday with Trent. I swear it is the first time i have ever heard him say that the Offensive issues at the night practice were on him. He needs to make sure he throws good and gets everyone ready. It's the first time i heard him mention the word "I". I was somewhat impressed.

Programming Alert - Sirius at Bills camp today
kota replied to Heitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan have the best Sirius NFL show. They aren't to biased towards teams. They don't mix words and tell it how it is. They also clown around alot and the players who call in always enjoy talkign to them. -
YOu really need to step back to reality. You are upset because Spiller isn't signed so you feel he was a waste of a draft pick. The bills did consider Schobel not coming back by bringing in Torbor and drafting Batten. They are both OLB. No matter what you feel about Maybin he was a 1st round pick last year and needs to be given a opportunity to prove if he is a bust or not. I don't understand why everyone is upset about Schobel not coming back. There is a decent amount of talent at the OLB position.

How much coffee have you had today?

Buddy was asked the question a few days ago if there were plans to release Shoebel at the time. Buddy said no. Somethign obviously changed. the bills might want the roster spot back. Shoebel had zero trade value. He only plans to play one more year and was due 8 million. No team in their right mind would trade anything for that. People in this thread love to talk hard ball but the bottom line is that the bills need the roster spot back and if Shoebel doesn't want to play for the Bills its smarter to get the money back and let him go. Who the hell is Mike Florio? He just seems like another nut job from this message board.

Spiller's status is a signal to the fans.
kota replied to TC in St. Louis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes i saw the smoke signals from here. -
I hope the Jets are dumb enough to give him 14 million a year. It will hamper them from resigning their own players. Corners are a dime a dozen and not worth that kind of money. The only position worth that amount of money is a QB.

Jason Lacanfora just reported Bills and Spiller not close
kota replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There is supposedly a 13 million dollar difference between the 8th pick and the 11th pick. That's alot of money to try and come up with a agreement on. It's my understanding that the negiotiations revolve around length of contract, how much money in each years salary, and the amount of guaranteed money. Spiller will get killed on Twitter like Maybin if he holds out for to long. -
i wonder if they are a requirement for games or not. if they aren't i wonder how many of the players will use them anyway after getting used to them.

Whoever thought of that needs a raise. http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/07/29/k...ory-for-o-line/

Haynesworth fails conditioning test
kota replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read that he had to run two shuttle drills with a 7 minute break in between. He finished the first with alot of room to spare. He then went to the bathroom. When he came back he was told he took to much time and had to start all over. He failed on the 3rd shuttle run. -
LOL i loved his answer to the following question. Q) Is it normal to have pads on the first day? A) It's training camp isn't it? rofls.... even the Media is suprised by Gailey.

Schobel leaning more towards coming back...
kota replied to sllib olaffub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So many assumptions that are most likely wrong. -
I remember seeing a video with DJ mic'd up and it was completely different. Jauron would hand out praise but he seemed to let his staff do the coaching. he just kind of wandered around. I like that Chan is speaking to players on defense, offense, and special teams. He doesn't appear to be overbearing and getting in the way of his staff. He does make his presense known.

Titans file Suit agains Lane Kiffin and USC
kota replied to kota's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well the coach USC took signed a contract stating he couldn't accept a job with anyone unless the the organization IE USC put in a written request. the coach is definately in trouble. UCS/Lane Kiffin could be brought up on Tampering charges related to the contract. I would think the Titans lawyers know what they are doing and wouldn't file suit unless they had a strong case.
