I think the Bills will pay him. It would speak volumes to the other players, other teams, and fans about the direction the Bills are going. Spending money on current players will help draw free agents in.

CJ has been running and catching the ball well since preseason. Not sure what everyone is freaking out about. it's kinda hard to break into the lineup as a running back with Jackson leading the league in rushing.

You can blame people who bring guns, knifes, and illegal stun guns to games. Unfortunately pat downs or body scanners are needed.

Didn't see this posted but i found this interview last night. For those interested go to the following link at the bottom is a scroll for interview replys from the shows. Fitz is the 2nd one down. http://www.siriusxm.com/nfl

Time of Possession is key in this game in my opinion which means running the ball. Keeping Brady on the bench seems like a good idea to me. NE's tight ends are scary. It's their bread and butter nowadays. I fear OchoCinco could have a good game if the Bills key in on the TE's alone. 4 Man pressure is also needed. Blitzing Brady is a bad idea. Aaron Williams as a rookie will need a good game. I can see them putting him on some of the TE's due to his size. Bryon Scot who plays that Safety/Backer hybrid will also need to step up.

"Bills Fear Fitzpatrick's Leverage Will Only Increase"
kota replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Fitz continues to play like he is he deserves every penny. Of course his leverage will increase with his continued play. It's good for Fitz's bank account and good for the bills. Wins = fan's butts in seats. Florio's article is kinda meh if you ask me. i get his point on Kolb and money. Schaub has put up monster numbers over the years. The Texans needed a defense. they have some corners now and a good defensive cordinator. If Peyton was still playing i think the Texans would have given them a run for their money anyway. -
If luck had come out would newton have been a bill?
kota replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who knows? Honestly I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Improving the defense was the way to go. Ask the colts how their high power offense is running nowadays. Peyton covered up their defensive flaws for years. -
You really need to stop going off last years stats. Last years stats are great to look at until the opening game. Once kick off happens it doesn't mean squat. Since you are great at stats lets look at week one Stats. Total Defense Bills -3rd Raiders -10th Total Offense Bills - 15th Raiders - 26th Passer Rating Fitz - 1st Jason Campbell - 18th In the end who cares about Stats. It's about the Win after the game. Tomorrow we find out. If the raiders win i am sure you will be here to gloat about it. If the Raiders lose the better stat question is if you are man enough to eat some crow? My stats say you won't be around if the Raiders lose.

Johnson not responsible for Berry's torn ACL

I find it funny that a legal hit can also be a cheapshot dirty play. At least it makes sense to the fans. The Kansas City Chiefs supposedly reported the hit to the NFL saying it was Dirty. I am not suprised coming from Haley who pouts more that TO and Brady combined. -
Brady says drink up before the game

Slow news day eh? -
good thing the new uniforms were introduced in preseason.

You don't IR people to send a message. You have to have a valid reason otherwise the NFLPA would have a fit. Stop looking for conspiracy's where they are not. The Kid is sick and hopefully he gets better.

Forbes Ranks The NFL's Most Valuable Teams
kota replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Isn't it the point of business to maximize profit? People love spending other people's money. Going into the Red by getting overpriced free agents isn't a solid business plan. -

Buddy on Shredd and Ragan a few minutes ago
kota replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have a hard time believing that Buddy Nix or Doug Whaley would work in an environment where Overdorf has power over personal decisions. Buddy is 70 years old. I just don't think he would take the job without have complete and total control over the roster. -
What is wrong with people on this board? We constantly see people who want to trade veterans for rookies, cut players, or undrafted Free Agents. do you guys really want to be in a constant rebuilding phase? Lynch is a pro bowl running back who has a few 1000 yard seasons on his belt with crappy olines both years. You don't trade that for peanuts or cut them for Simpson who has been a journeyman RB or Bell who went undrafted and did well against 3rd string defenses. News flash Lynch played against starters. You really need to get rid of your haterid for Lynch because he got suspended last year. Do you dislike Nelson as well? Maybe he should be cut or traded for a 7th round draft pick and a box of donuts. Sorry kid but you dont' know anything about football. i bet you own Madden.

Ravens cut Troy Smith - per Schefter tweet

Yes lets bring in a guy who was 3rd string QB and got cut. That makes sense. -

See here's the thing. I don't understand the media's love fest with Rodger Goodell. I really don't see anything positive from him being the commish. PLayers are getting suspended more i guess but I don't see the players slowing down anybit. Does anyone know if the number of arrests against the players had decreased? -
Use the Chat room NOT the Shout Box for the game...
kota replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The chat room is fine. I have no issue figuring out who is speaking to who. My only issue with it is that i can't turn off the join/leaving of people. I would rather not see that. The other weird thing is that the shout box is right above the chat window. I can see people not using the chat window because the shoutbox is there. -

Last i checked Goodell isn't a police officer, or a judge. He is at the same level as Paul Bart Mall Cop. comparing Vick to Big Ben is stupid. Big Ben wasn't convicted of a crime. Who really cares anyway. Goodell is a terrible commish and has done nothing for the NFL. -
Gailey coached Bills -vs- Jauron coached Bills
kota replied to Kosmo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's our schedule. We are playing the NFC North and the AFC North. they are both powerhouse divisions. In the AFC North the Steelers, Bengals, or Ravens could be #1 in the division. In the NFC north it's either the Vikings or Packers. 4 of the 5 teams listed made the playoffs last year and are expected to do so again. This is why the so called experts believe we will be 3-13. I personally think the Bills will make the playoffs this year despite the schedule. -
How about 11-5 playoffs.

Farewell to all, you guys are great fans.... I mean that!

Sorry to see you go. if you are in the LA area let me know i will buy you a beer someplace. This board is sad sometimes. I was actually warned by a moderator for attacking another poster who was being vicious to a bills player. I get warned and the other guy got nothing. My response to the moderator was how do you know that player isn't on this board at all? I received no response. I kept the PM. I have always thought that players check out this board. It makes sense. Donte Whitner has gotten attacked on facebook and twitter but i am pretty sure these same people would ask for his autograph if they saw him in person. -
Rodger Goodell is the worst thing in NFL football.
