Assuming that the Bills would have won with Taylor against the Chargers is a mistake. The Bills were hot at the start of the season and then started drinking their own cool-aid. The Chargers had just started their run and where hot. They continued that throughout the season. In Hindsight this was the best decision he could have made throughout hte year. He benched his starting QB basically telling everyone that nobody is untouchable. It's not a coincidence that suddently the Bills start to win games again. you say it's stupid. I say it was smart.

Any coaching decision is a 50/50 chance. It's all situational. You will either look like a genius or a goat. McD is a bit conservative. I would like him to be more aggressive on Offense but whatever. He managed a 9-7 season with a playoff berth on strong defense. The offense is poor. We have an average line with a below average QB.

His stats are always at the bottom of the league and he only ranks higher than people like Ryan Fitzpatrick, Brian Hoyer, etc.... People always say lets build around him, etc.... It just doesn't work. He could have Julio Jones, AJ Green, and Sammy Watkins out there and it would not matter. Rex Ryan the big defense mind was like it's so hard to defend. Really? Teams defend it by stacking the box, playing one on one on the outside and blitzing. I think McD understands. Unfortunately the QB market was bad this off season. Tyrod was the best available. How many OC's failed to get anything out of Tyrod Taylor? 3? Tyrod cannot throw which forces the OC to do out of the box type plays to get yards. Like the screen pass to the FB which failed miserably.

Jerry Rice recently spoke about Zay Jones on the radio. He said he had the same problems and he worked it out during the offseason. Zay will be fine. How many passes were to WR today? There was a grand total of 4 catches from WR's today. Most teams will have had that many catches from one guy. Singling out one pass where it was batted away isn't right. Zay from what i can tell lets the game come to him versus going for it. He needs to be more aggressive.
