9/24/23 Week 3 GAMEDAY Bills vs Commanders Pregame Thread
Mark Vader replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heading out now. Go out there and stick with the game plan. Washington has talent on both sides of the ball and they will be up for us. Let's show everyone that we are STILL one of the top teams in the league! GO BILLS!!! -
The play before that on first down they chose to pass and not run. Both of those plays were terrible play calls. The Irish deserved to lose for doing that.
-
Terrible choke job by Notre Dame.
-
I just feel that his stature is just not there as with the other players on the wall.
-
I loved Fred Jackson's play, but I agree that Kyle Williams & Eric Moulds are more deserving than him.
-
Have you seen who their head coach is?
-
Not me!
-
Damn! I love the draft, but I'm not ready to discuss it yet.

Rewatching the Game.....Enough Blame to Go Around, BUT....
Mark Vader replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said that Josh Allen had a horrible game. I am not denying that. What I want to know is who was responsible for our lazy effort at the end of the first half! Why aren't all the fans outraged by this?! -

Not that simple for me. Yes, Josh Allen had a horrible game, we all agree on that. What stood out to me as the key reason why we lost this game, is who was responsible for allowing the offense to show no urgency in attempting to score a touchdown right before halftime? After the two minute warning, did everyone not see how much time the Bills let run off the clock as they took their time moving downfield. Especially on the 3rd and 1 play, where Allen dug in to get the first down? Look at how much time was wasted once they got to the 20 yard line! They then had to rely on making deep passes to the end zone to get a touchdown! That was outrageous and should not have happened! The Bills were moving the ball on this drive, and could have gone into the locker room up 17-3, instead they settled for the field goal, and that's what they looked like they wanted to do! This series is why we lost! Who was responsible for this lackadaisical approach? Dorsey? McDermott? This was inexcusable! -
Chris Jones agreed to deal with KC (1 year deal)
Mark Vader replied to Sestak4ever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, the Chiefs missed Kelce a lot more than Jones. -
This is true, but why take up so much time and rely on deep throws to get a touchdown, when you can get closer to the end zone and give yourself more options? They wasted a lot of time.

There were some positives this game
Mark Vader replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills clock management after the 2 minute warning cost the Bills a touchdown. -
The Milano taunting was very stupid. Despite that, the Bills were in a great position, and they were moving the ball and had all three timeouts. After the two minute warning, the plays they were getting were positive, but they just let the game clock run and did not show urgency to score! This was a terrible moment from the Bills.

The defense did not lose the game for us tonight. Any rational fan who watched the game will admit that. Oh wait, look at the place I am writing this at.
-
The run defense is not why we lost tonight. Even after that big run by Hall, the Bills held the Jets to a field goal. The defense did all they could to win tonight, unlike the offense.
-
The Bills had a chance to put a big hurt on the Jets before halftime, and they threw it away. After Milano's interception, the Bills were driving, but after the two minute warning, the Bills let the clock run under a minute and looked as if they were in no hurry to score. By wasting all that time doing NOTHING, they had to settle for a field goal instead of getting a touchdown. We've seen moments like this before, and it has got to stop. This scenario was a one of the factors as to why we lost this game.
