Free Agents we like for the 2025 Bills?
Mark Vader replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are many people here that complain about rookies and second year players, no matter where they were drafted. You know that. It doesn't matter if Levy didn't play rookies, people were saying what bust Moulds was after his second season. I think that the selection of Dalton Kincaid was a good selection, although it was odd that we had just given a big contract to Knox. Kincaid is not a traditional Tight End, he's more of a big Wide Receiver. I'm not going to condemn him or label him a bust after two seasons. Same thing goes for Coleman. I was not a fan of drafting him, I've stated that before. In all honesty, he was doing pretty good before he got injured, he wasn't the same afterwards. He cannot stretch the field because he is slow, and they should not be using him that way. Still, I am not labeling him as a bust after ONE season. -

I understand what you mean, but for me I don't care about draft picks this year. The Bills can win a championship this coming season. Get as many proven players as you can, and worry about draft picks in 2026. For the Bills, the future is NOW! -

The overreaction to rookie seasons is both laughable and maddening. We all remember when people were saying how awful Eric Moulds was. More recently how terrible Spencer Brown and Terrel Bernard were. Now Dalton Kincaid and Keon Coleman are busts. I get it, not all players work out, it happens. Some fans just refuse to let players develop and improve because they want instant all-pro success.- 279 replies

Maybe, but he is not a player that deserves to be mentioned in this topic.
-
Yeah it is easy to say this stuff. I wouldn't want to deal with Cleveland either, but I'm not Beane, and I think he can work with anyone.
-
I think we should do what the Rams did. Trade away draft picks from now and into the future for established players on teams who aren't winning.
-
I know I already mentioned Cornell Green as a terrible player. Other offensive linemen who were considerably worse than Lacina, were Mike Williams, Langston Walker, Derrick Dockery & Joe Panos.
-
He was a good player. Yes, the kickoff fumble sucked Robert Royally, but he was a good CB.
-
Not understanding your disdain for Jones. He was a decent receiver. That was the Bills "Boring Name" Offense. Donald Jones David Nelson Scott Chandler Fred Jackson Ryan Fitzpatrick
-
And there are people here who think that the period we are in right now is actually WORSE than the drought years. TBD is funny.
-
I disagree with this take. Lacina was no star, but he was serviceable.
-
Are you strictly talking about Bills draft picks, or any Bills player?
-
Elam is nowhere near being one of the worst players ever for the Bills. Flowers & Maybin are easy choices, and justified too. For me, I'll go with someone that many have probably forgotten, with good reason. Cornell Green.

I wanted us to draft him last year. He would be a great back-up to Josh Allen. -

Remember when Spencer Brown was a bust? -
If the Bills choose not to sacrifice their draft picks in order to make a trade for a top defensive player in the league, then by all means trade up and get the best players you can from college.

Which is why I wish that they would announce it earlier. It would make it easier to plan ahead. They can announce it earlier than May. They just want the spectacle of it. I remember when they used to announce the dates at the end of February, and it was in the newspaper.
-
I love the draft, so I find it more exciting. There's nothing that exciting about the schedule release, because we already know who we are playing.
-
I hate that we have to wait that long to get the dates. They should release it much sooner than that. It helps for fans who want to make travel plans.

Would love to have Grant on the team. We would have to trade up for him. No way he falls to 30.
