Tom Hanks playing Mr. Rogers
Mark Vader replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hmmm, interesting analysis. All 3 of these come out before the year is over. Obviously targeting Oscar. I'm very interested in seeing how these movies turn out. Very intrigued to see Jackman as Gary Hart. -

Yes, very impressive. How about Amy Adams? She looks spot on as Lynne. -
Tom Hanks playing Mr. Rogers
Mark Vader replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in Off the Wall Archives
He would have been a good choice. That picture of Tom Hanks as Rogers is not that good. Tom Hanks is a fine actor but there are some roles that he gets that I don't understand. While we're on the subject of actors taking on real life roles, here's what we have to look forward to before the end of the year is over. Felicity Jones as Ruth Bader Ginsburg in "On the Basis of Sex". Hugh Jackman as Gary Hart in "The Front Runner". How about this one, Christian Bale as Dick Cheney in "Vice". And Amy Adams is Lynne Cheney -
Super bowl preview November 19th?
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It does look like a game to look forward too. -
I don't know if he's a first round talent, but WR this year does not look very strong. Let's see how the rest of the year plays out.

If the minister performing this ceremony is Jeremiah Wright, then this photo is..... for Rashad. -
Should Micah Hyde be returning punts?
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I understand that Hyde has experience in returning punts, but I'm too nervous thinking that he could get injured on such a play. We need to keep our starting players remain where they are. Ray-Ray can handle the job. -
Top 10 rookies-Bills have 2!
Mark Vader replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really liked both of these guys. It was tough to sit and watch them go to other teams, but I'm happy with the moves we made in the first round. -

And Milano was in New England's backyard at Boston College. -

Love his energy & enthusiasm, so much fun listening to him. He had a great game. -
Vikings 2nd 1/2 - preseason feel. Why not take advantage?
Mark Vader replied to eSJayDee's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was thinking the same thing during the 3rd quarter. The conservative approach made me nervous, because anything can happen. My attitude changed as I saw how great our defense was playing. By the time the 4th quarter started I was not worried at all. The Vikings were not going to come back. -
Josh Allen nails the post-wheel concept

Josh Allen's best play of the game. -
I agree with this. It is a touristy thing to do, but Fisherman's Wharf/Pier 39 is a fun place to visit. I know very little about places to dine in San Francisco, but there is Original Joe's. Famous for their Italian food and they also have great steaks. They are expensive though. The Hyatt Regency is neat. It's where they filmed "The Towering Inferno". Sadly they closed the Equinox restaurant atop the hotel. It was a revolving restaurant that gave you a great view of the city by the bay. I'll never know why they closed it.

Jimmy G carted off with torn ACL

He was okay last year. Give him another opportunity. Who knows? -
Head across the Golden Gate and visit the small town of Tiburon. Charming place. Check out Sausalito too.

Lost in all the celebration: The OL played well.
Mark Vader replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The O-Line played better. Bodine did much better at Center than Groy has. Still the Line is struggling to open holes for our runners. -

Welcome to TBD & Bills Mafia, OrediggerPoke. That's a great name you got there. You definitely have to go to a game in Buffalo and if there's an away game for the Bills that you can get to, you'll find that there are always plenty of Bills fans that travel well. Look forward to hearing more from you and I too am grateful for Josh Allen. GO BILLS!!! Edited Post..... One more thing I would like to add, was that while Allen's leap was amazing and is the play that will be played over and over. However, the play that really impressed me, was the touchdown pass to Jason Croom. It wasn't the pass per se, it was how Allen sold it. He stared down Marcus Murphy and sold that he was throwing the screen pass. The Vikings defense bit on the play and Croom was wide open. Easy touchdown throw. That was the best play Allen made yesterday. -

Poor C.J. Beathard. Will the fans never give him a chance? -
I saw a photo of that too. Don't have a link though.

Jimmy G carted off with torn ACL
Mark Vader replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm enjoying it too. All I've heard off season around here is how "Jimmy G is taking the 49'ers to the Super Bowl!" Overpaid and frankly overrated quarterback who got a boat load of money without having played a full season. Then the networks give the 49'ers, a 6-10 team the previous season, 5 prime time games! Ridiculous! Even though we all knew why. I take no joy in Garoppolo getting injured, that just sucks for him. Although he's got all that guaranteed money and his 40 year-old porn star to comfort him. I also feel bad for the real 49'ers fans, not the Garoppolo bandwagon fans. However, I am laughing at the media now and the networks for all of those prime time games they gave them. -
An inspiring play for sure. I just hope we don't see anymore of these daredevil plays from him. An injury would be horrible. What is amazing to me, is that his leap was over a linebacker, not a cornerback or safety, but a linebacker!

I too was nervous about Milano during the preseason. I'm not nervous anymore. He's been all over the field in every game, including the Baltimore game.
